Kennedy has written a memoir about her experience in addressing cancer - steps taken, treatments endured, friends made - in a manner that is open and carefully, thoughtfully written with no overlay of fierce fighting or drama - making the book remarkable. I am so glad to have read it. I come away from the book with a sense of an author who is centered and mindful and clear while dealing with and considering the impacts of something we all fear.
