A very interesting prologue for the new Amelia Wilde's series.
Mason Hill has lost everything at the age of eighteen, his parents included.
He had to survive, and to save his three siblings along.
Now, it's time for vengeance.
Charlotte Van Kempt it's his way to vengeance of his parents, she's Cyrus Van Kempt's daughter, the man who's supposed to be his parent's best friend, and didn't help them.
The Van Kempt's are broken, so it's time to Charlotte pay their debts.

The Proposition is a prologue novella which should entice the reader in wanting to read the full novel Net Worth. Sadly after finishing this novella I can honestly say I’m not interested or even intrigued by Charlotte or Mason. The premise wasn’t any new and the over the top alpha personality from Mason didn’t do anything for me. What happened between these two and how they came to terms with their deal was predictable and left nothing for the imagination.
I gave it a try and sadly this novella was a disappointment.

Such an epic start to what I already know will be a deliciously, dirty and depraved series. When it comes to Mason Hill, beggars can’t be choosers, and Charlotte is definitely left with no choice. This prequel is just a little taste of what’s to come and I’m hungry for all Amelia Wilde’s words. She feeds my addiction with her heroes and Mason Hill is just the hit I’m looking for. You get a glimpse of the type of man he is and I can’t wait for the next instalment. Plus, seeing my A.Wilde book bfs make cameos are always a big plus! Charlotte meets my girl crush standards. Give me more of it all!!

I can't wait to read the whole book! Mason is such a d-bag. Charlotte's just trying to help save her family, but he has a vendetta against them. We don't find out much more than that in this prequel, but we do get to see some favorites from the Midnight Dynasty series.

Charlotte Van Kempt is in dire straits and when she approaches Mason Hill with a business proposition, he offers her a different kind of proposition, which she furiously declines. When all other doors are closed to her, she's forced to accept his offer - an offer where the terms have changed.
This was a delicious prequel to the main novel - Net Worth. There is nothing romantic about this prequel - there's just fierce attraction and plenty of hate! Loved it!

Charlotte finds herself not living the life she planned as she tries to save the family business while they try to keep up the pretense that their lives are very different than they appear. Her efforts send her to Mason however he is more sinner than savior.
Mason has his own agenda when it comes to Charlotte and her family. He has ensured she has no other options and now that she is under his control vengeance will be his even if Charlotte is caught in the crossfire.
This is an intriguing start to Charlotte and Mason’s story, and it leaves you wanting to know what the future holds.

Contemporary Romance Series challenge 2024. The first book in “Wealth” series by Amelia Wilde. Kobo+ e books. MC’s H Mason Hill a billionaire eldest in his family, about 30 his two brothers are Gabriel and Jamison and sister Remy. Their parents died when Mason was 16 or slightly older. He fought to keep his brother’s and sister together rebuilding his Dad’s company after Cyrus VanKempt ruined them. The h is Charlotte Van Kempt Cyrus’s daughter(20), beautiful blonde looks like her mom but she is also a talented designer with a business on Etsy and trying to keep her father’s company afloat before going down with the sinking ship. Mason wants revenge against her father and has proposed to humiliate him(Cyrus ) through using Charlotte. Leo Morelli and his wife Haley are in this story, so it could be related to Midnight Dynasty and Pembroke Prep.

Oh what an enticing proposition indeed! My favorite, delicious prologue for the upcoming Amelia Wilde’s Wealth trilogy- needless to say, I AM HOOKED. We need more, and I can't’ wait for Net Worth.
This story already is full of all sorts of tasty enemies to lovers drama. A man set on vengeance, a woman trying to save her family’s legacy. IN this brief prologue, we can already see the scorching intensity of their chemistry- and I can’t wait to see when these two fully collide. Deceit, desire, secrets, manipulation- all with that characteristic Amelia Wilde sensual charisma.

Great intro to Net Worth.
You will want to punch Mason, yet also want that sexy time her promises. Charlotte is coming off as too young and wholly naive.
I did have a hard time coming to terms with the state of the mansion after a short time of neglect. It truly can't be that bad off unless we are talking a decade of neglect, but it appeared just over a year at best. So.....

Charlotte is a fantastically strong character who encounters Mason, the swoony alpha, and the story is all consuming from there. This read is QUICK and all consuming and is a great starting point that has left me anxiously awaiting more.

Such a tease Amelia Wilde is with this one. Mason and Charlotte are going to heat it up in Net Worth and I am jonesing for it but will have to keep my cool for now.
This little prequel leaves you wanting more and I know we will get it as I have never been disappointed with this author and her books. This is a fast quick read that you should do before their story comes out.

A great quick look into what is yet to come in the Net Worth trilogy. If this author writes it, I will read it. Simple as that, although, I might have cursed her a little as this was just a short taste and left me wanting to continue the story. I liked that for this prologue, that the author gave a glimpse into both characters and where they were in their life and what is most likely to come from those situations. Loved seeing some familiar past favorite cameos and also some potential new characters. I cannot wait to dive into the story of Mason and Charlotte.

Charlotte has done everything she can think of to save her family’s business except what Mason wants. Mason wants revenge, and I want to know why! I can’t wait to get more of this story. We got a scene with Leo in this prequel. I love the change in him. I think something is up with Charlotte’s dad. He did something, but what that is, I don’t know. I can’t wait to get more of this story!
