Mike's History, Vol. V, is a collection of random short stories about historic individuals and happenings that by there accomplishments or circumstance, have created interest at some level. Not all were for the good but hopefully we can learn from those failings. Perhaps some of the characters or incidents written about are familiar; others will likely will be new to you. Whatever the case, each story will no doubt take you to a place you have never been to before.

About the author

Mike Rose spent his career in public service, first as a city planner and eventually as a town manager. Mike’s fertile imagination and desire to be a writer started at an early age. Being from a family with an Irish Catholic background, Mike had his share of funny stories and wonderful characters. Add to that nearly 40 years of dealing with the public and elected officials, well, books practically write themselves.
