⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

I TRULY DON'T have WORDS to describe this book, it was such a marvellous experience, this is how a mystery book should be like, a complete MINDFUCK. When you think something happened one way everything turns out proving just how wrong you were, the plot twists, the angst, the characters and the romance... everything just goes differently from what you thought and that's just the charm in it!!

I LOVED EVERY TORTUROUS SECOND OF THIS MAGNIFICENT BOOK!!

This is the result when a book has the perfect amount (or ratio) of darkness, mystery, romance and erotism (sex), PERFECTION.

After everything that happened in book three, you come to this with some theories and ideas in your head..  just to be blown away by everything and even though this book starts from the very beginning, how they all met, it's primordial to read the other books first in their specific order.

Let's start, this review stating a few facts:
The sexual content this book DOES CONTAIN sex, Ivy Fox likes her books with sexual content, but the important thing within this book that makes it different from others, it's that while this book DOES have sex, it ALSO have A LOT of PLOT and I mean A LOT. It's impossible in this book for the sexual content to out balance the plot, so there's not the usual problem with too much sexual content and no plot.

That being said, let's go on, the PLOT in this book is HUGE, extended and really twisted, to be honest, but as the story developed I wasn't bored a single second, there was so many things going on, you many unanswered questions that you wanted those answers, the book goes way back in time, from the very beginning to the present, explaining everything you couldn’t understand before and showing new things you couldn't even imagine, there are really a few surprises that Ivy did keep really well hidden. I won't say much regarding the mysteries and plot twists (sorry!) but it's really worth it, the story makes sense at the end and everything it's surprising and straight up twisted.

This book IT'S A DARK ROMANCE so let's never forget that there's a darkness to it and probably this book was the darkest and more twisted of them all, which I really loved, there are also some TRIGGER WARNINGS:
□ Rape and multiple mentions of rape
□ Sexual Harassment
□ Drug abuse
□ Domestic Violence
□ Self-harming
Although the plot isn't exactly centered towards any of those triggers, because most of them happen to supporting characters, even though, I feel like I should let everyone know this beforehand in case someone is sensitive to any of these triggers.

The ROMANCE , I was gladly surprised in this context of the book, because Lincoln and Kennedy had incredible chemistry but they were even really soulmates. Their love was beautiful, twisted and painful. I didn’t expect what we got but I'm so glad for it, I don’t think Ivy could have done it better. This book it's REALLY ROMANTIC, the two MC's are in love with each since the beginning to the end, as it's shown in the previous books, the tropes for this book's romance are a few:
♡ Best friends to lovers
♡ Virgins
♡ Possesive Heroine
♡ Soulmates

There's few O/M drama with Kennedy but nothing to worry about BELIEVE ME!! There's no cheating and both mc's remain each others love interests throughout the years.

The CHARACTERS , now here we got some of the big surprises (I won't say much more, sorry again!), but the characters in this book were a 10/10, and the best one was probably Lincoln followed very closely by Kennedy.

LINCOLN he's the one character who has remained the most mysterious and more enigmatic throughout the series, the most interesting one for the last. His character development is really extraordinary, how he goes from childhood to adulthood, his personality development, questioning his moral, his deviations... he really impressed me as a hero (I really don't want to spoil much) but his connection with his friends was truly beautiful in special with Colt, their bond was the most beautiful and mesmerising.

It’s only when my manic state dissolves that I realize the person that was holding on to me all along was, in fact, my beloved cousin—Colt.

My brother, in all the ways that really count.
His loyalty and love are what snap me out of my suffering state.

I call Teddy a monster for his brutality and soullessness, but am I any better? Coveting my own flesh and blood?

What other thing can I be if not a depraved monstrosity? I curse the blood that runs in my veins with the same fervor I curse hers.

“Is this what you want, ...? To make a fiendish monster out of me again? To make me take what isn’t mine? What can never be mine?”

KENNEDY she's a fucking fighter, I really didn't expect her, she's one of the best heroines throughout all the series, probably a favourite, her resilience, her fierceness, her protectiveness for her family (friends), her strength after going through everything she had to went through  without anyone to help her and her mother dying when she was only a child. She really went above my expectations, and to be honest I was biased against her in the beginning of the book but she just bought her way to my heart being the strong and caring woman she was.

One day, I’ll show them both how wrong they are in underestimating me.

He would kill for me. Just as I have killed for him.

"Take hydrochloric acid, for example. Do you know what acid does to the skin? No? Well, let me educate you. It burns human flesh in seconds, eating away at the blood cells, the smell so repugnant it will be the only thing you smell for days... Accidents happen every day, especially to people who don’t know who they are fucking with.”

"Somewhere along the line, while we were fighting monsters, we became them, too."

Other supporting characters such as, Tommyboy, Jeff, Meredith,Teddy, Sierra, Dorothea were very interesting too and key (important) for the story and how everything unfolds. Their characters development was surprising in some cases and highly interesting, the nature of some of their actions and events... this book helped understand a lot of unknowns that were bugging my mind for months.

"I still have the scars from the last time I tried to be your knight in shining armor. The role never suited me anyway.”

“I know you don’t, sweetheart. But one day, you will,” she adds, only adding to my confusion. “We women have to be clever when dealing with our enemies. It’s best not to be feared since fear leads to suspicion. You should be seen in a light that deems you incapable of raining vengeance on your enemies. That way, they never see you coming for them.”

“Love is a word the poor and feeble-minded throw around to give their pitiful excuse of a life meaning. I taught you better than to give credence to such infantile notions. Power and prestige are the only things that hold true value in this world. We tried and failed to achieve the first. Now it’s time we focus our efforts on the latter.”

“Do I really spend that much time looking at myself in the mirror?”

“Look at me, Lincoln. You are a Richfield. That is all that matters. Do you understand me?”

After all this, I can only say that the ending is absolutely amazing, in accordance with the rest of the book!!
There are no cliffhangers as this is the last book for this group of friends.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK, I HOPE YOU ENJOY AND LOVE IT AS MUCH AS I DID!! ❤🖤❤🖤

Happy reading everyone!!💗

It seems like my highly anticipated books always disappoint me.😐 I wasn't fan of Kennedy so far, she was srsly the most annoying character in this series and to pair her with Lincoln was the worst decision ever and i used to like Lincoln!!!

This book was a mess. If you read the previous one you know that it ended when someone kidnapped Lincoln so if you expect this to pick up right there you are mistaken bc almost 90% of this book is the past. And if you are like me and read every book so far then you know what happenes in the past. So everything was so repetitive and BORING. so boring.
The timeline is also so confusing bc there are so many time jumps so if you haven't read the previous books you'll be so confused. I started skimming the past part bc there wasn't any relationship development just family drama. I was sick of the family drama, the secrets and so many misunderstandings🤦‍♀️.
I still can't stand Kennedy she was always running after Lincoln acting desperate and Lincoln was so dumb keeping secrets and being so wishy-washy. He had a personality of a wet towel.

"Is this all I’ll ever be able to get from the man I love?
That he would rather keep me at arm’s length than ever love me?"

I didn't like Kennedy but i felt for her in this situation, she should've stop running after him.
Also she only had sex with him while he did not.

“You know they never meant anything to me. Not one. They were just a way to push you out of my heart, but none came close.”

Yeah buddy keep telling yourself that.

The writing was also kinda off and weird like too flowery and poetic expecially in the past scenes where they were still 10 or 12 year old kids but spoke like adults. Just weird.

It's truly shame how this series ended, i expected so much more.

Man, this story gutted me. I knew Lincoln and Kennedy's story would do just that. There were mountains to climb and feelings to stomp and crush, so much angst and need. From the 3 previous books we knew Linc and Ken's dynamic relationship. The highs and the lows. The hurts and the healing. The pain and the love. From knowing that... we knew this wasn't going to be an easy road for them.

God, my heart broke for them. Gah so much pushing away and yanking back when realization came that they were unable to breathe without the other. No matter the quick whispered words or small touches, anything was always better than nothing.

I have loved each story in this series. These friends have come SO far and been put through SO much. They all deserve peace, calm and undying love.

Lincoln and Kennedy more so then any... This was a beautiful and captivating read that will have your emotions going crazy. You will feel them all. Kennedy was brave and unwavering in her feelings for her true love. She fought when he didn't have the heart or strength. She fought for what she knew to be true. Lincoln broke me in the best of ways. My heart ached for this beautiful broken boy who grew into a man full of sorrow and shame. Their broken pieces encased in darkness shone bright with light when they were put together just perfectly.

Please do yourself a favor and read this series!! You won't be sorry!

The mystery was finally discovered and my brain is going on an indefinite vacation after being as fried as a chicken nugget!!

❝My love-sick heart saw beauty amongst all the ugliness that lived and breathed in hers.❞

Kennedy Ryland and Lincoln Hamilton-Richfield are literally soul mates. Best friends since childhood, they were destined to fall in love with each other, but the dark side of the elite of their town was against them. Years have passed, this forbidden romance growing stronger with the passage of time, but now it is time for all the darkest and most seedy secrets to come to light to finally have a happy ending.

I really have no words to explain the roller coaster of emotions this book made me feel, and finally having all the answers almost made my brain explode! Rich people tend to have a lot of secrets to stay in power, but the elite of this town took it all to the extreme, which is why Lincoln and company were living in hell itself for a while here. I really don't know how to explain this without spoiling the whole plot, but I just want to say that it was beautiful to see all the pieces falling into place, and since this book takes place from the group being kids, it was great to see that bound from the most childish and fun days, to the way they were willing to give their lives (or go to jail) for their friendship. So here you have your classic group of dark millionaire friends, but they are actually fighting a psychopath while doing everything to save their loved ones.

As for the romance and character development... speechless. They were even better than I expected and my expectations were really high, so I'm just WOW. I think that part of the magic of this series is that the protagonists are "the good guys" fighting against evil, but in that fight they are willing to let their morally gray part take space if it means protecting their family, and Kennedy and Lincoln were just like that. Lincoln grew up in a dysfunctional family full of hatred, but even that hatred didn't touch his heart of gold, or at least not for a while, because the only time he embraced that darkness was while avenging his family while freeing himself from the chains who tortured him for years. Kennedy's childhood ended quickly after her mother's death and now alone, even as a child, she quickly learned to observe those around her, including her twin brother and father, and expect the worst. She always knew who her true family was, and she didn't hesitate to go to great lengths to protect them, even if it hurt her along the way. Manipulating, use the narrative in her favor, and also hurting others was a right price to pay to keep her family BY OPTION always safe.

I still can't believe how heartbreaking the romance was, BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT!! Ken and Lincoln had a lot of obstacles in their way since they were little, culminating in a forbidden romance that ended up making Linc feel ill, but even there the bond between them continued to be stronger and unbreakable. No matter what, they were always each other's safe haven and when a much needed response was FINALLY delivered, I LOVED the way they finally felt free to surrender and live this love that was in the making for years now.

And now that I finally had all the answers I have been waiting for, I can already feel the slump coming for me. These characters won't be leaving my mind for a while, so here I'll be waiting for whatever crumbs I can get, like Naomi and Richard's novella.

***4,25 "My beautiful, vengeful monster!!!" stars***

"There is no absolution.
Not for me. And not for him.
Because in the end... All evil men must die."

What a bittersweet ride was that, and for more than one reasons....
This was the perfect ending to this highly anticipated story!!!!
I was craving Kennedy and Lincoln's story since the very first book, but their story needed space and time to end up how it should be...
I won't hide to you that "Speak no evil" left me shocked and afraid to dive into this book!!!
The conclusions that I had drown was driving me crazy and honestly, I wasn't seeing a light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Of course, Ivy's mind is diabolical and she had thrown us so many frustrating crumbs in order to never reach the right destination!!! Ah, Ivy! You're a very bad girl!!!

"We're just pawns in a game we can't win."

This story gave us a killer prologue and then it transferred us back to the past and to everything that took place back then and how all these things had shaped Lincoln and Kennedy to who they were today!!!
I believe that this trip back to memory lane was needed cause it gave us many answers that we needed... My only objection is that it could have been a little bit shorter!!!
And around 58% things were starting to change and the revelations were coming our way on a rapid pace!!!
Kennedy was truly a monster or not???

"I've been poisoned by hate since the day I was born."

Well, I can not really say much about this story, other than what Lincoln and Kennedy shared was beyond measure!!!
The love that they were feeling for each other was on another level and as many obstacles they were putting on their way, their feelings never wavered from each other and that was something magnificent to witness.
These two belonged together, but evil people and not fate was determined to ruined the little good that was existing in their hearts and my own heart was aching for this injustice!!!

"No matter how hard I tried not to love her, so deeply, so irrefutably, from day one, I knew I was destined to be hers."

I wasn't expecting Lincoln to be so stoic!!! He had strength, but he was letting others to rule his life and I was furious for his behalf!!!
That boy deserved so much and he took nothing in return... His only solace was Kennedy, but they have kept her from him with evil intentions and I hated witnessing his pain!!!
Kennedy was in the same level with Lincoln, but she was stronger!!!! She was determined and I liked that she wasn't backing down in nothing!!!
She had seen her part of ugly too, but she had faith on Lincoln and it showed!!!
God, these two had broken my heart so much!!!!

"My Lincoln still lives. Somewhere deep in his dark and hellish existence, he fights to be free of the chains of misery and guilt."

And yes, we finally took the answers to every single question in here and yes, we finally learned who was behind the Society and its games!!!
And even though that I am happy for that, is it wrong that i felt kind of sad???
I love the Society world and I am kind of sad that we reached its end...
But it was an unbelievable ride full of love and friendship... It was having mystery and suspense in its fullest and one hell of a plot!!!
I recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone!!! It is definitely a series that deserves your attention!!!

"Do you love me today, sister?"
"Yes, brother. I love you today."

5 🌟!!!!!!! 10, 100, 100000 😭😭😭

I can’t believe this beautiful af, frustrating af, scary af, anxious af journey has come to an end.
I’ve spent so many months making conjectures in my head based on all the clues and trying to fill all the gaps but nothing could have prepared me for the rollercoaster of emotions this book gave me.
Thank you Ivy Fox for this gift, you are an ✨evil genius✨ and i can’t thank you enough for writing this story, giving all your being and creating this f*cked up world…i think I need therapy now, lady!

Ps: reading the acknowledgements only made my already shameful breakdown over the end of this journey 10x times worse so…thank you for that too I guess 😭

The author was right, this one really hurt. It kept me on my toes from start to finish and tore my heart to pieces throughout it all, only to put it back together in the end.
I already knew that Lincoln and Kennedy’s story was going to be great, but it succeeded my expectations and conquered my angst-craving heart. I can’t believe everything they went through, it made me love them even more and I’m still bleeding for them. It was heartbreaking seeing them struggling to keep their souls intact, while also fighting tooth and nail for each other and their love. Then again, it was also incredibly rewarding to see them coming out of it stronger than ever, finally getting their rightful happy ending ❤️

I think the narrative structure was quite brilliant, allowing us to see Linc and Kennedy’s love story unfold from the very beginning, while also filling in the blanks from the previous books. It felt totally natural how all the pieces fell into place, to reveal the final picture. I can’t say I was surprised by Jeff being the big bad, but it was AMAZING playing detective and catching all the clues along the way. I truly need more stories like this!

I fell in love with this story and all these characters from day 1 and I’m incredibly sad that it has come to an end. I only wish there were more group scenes and interactions between all our boys/girls, during the final act, that’s my only complaint. I officially miss them all already, so I truly, truly hope a novella will pop up sooner or later. Pretty please 🙏🏼

P.S. I never would have imagined, but I cried for Tommyboy. He totally deserved better, rest in piece, you precious soul ✨

Hey, hi from the other side!
The wait for the final installment of The Society series was long and excruciating. To say that I had high expectations would be putting it mildly. After all, it is a near impossible task to tie up any loose ends in a satisfying way. However, Ivy Fox did not disappoint. It all fell together so well and what took me aback was that I felt sympathy for the 'villain of the story', sympathy that I cannot say I would've thought myself capable of for someone who put my favorites through such an ordeal in the previous books. Then again, monsters are made, not born. Even this particular BIG BAD - they were a tragic product of their circumstances, too. [side note: I have come to my own conclusion as to who the ~real~ villain of the story was] Having said that though, I also want to stress that Kennedy and Lincoln? Fuck. My. Life. They were perfect. Their story of yearning, angst, pull-and-push-pull-and-push on repeat, the light they were in each other's lives from the very beginning and the difference their love for one another made -- it all just made my heart stop in my chest with how much I was feeling for them.
While the pieces of the puzzle started to make sense, let us not forget about the secondary characters of this final installment or the series in general - Tommyboy, for one. Gosh. I would have loved to just wrap him in a blanket and promise everything would be okay. My heart stopped in my chest, I am telling you. Obviously, I also loved the apperances of the gang we knew from the previous books. Colt's one track mind made me laugh so hard. Easton's understanding and deeply rooted sense of honor made me want to hug him even more. Finn's love for food had me feeling hungry for a snack at 2am when I was reading it. Aunt Colleen and Uncle Owen were extremely interesting to read about; with all their secrets, strange arrangements and at the same time the united front they presented that left me quite in awe. Everything was just SO good.

Definitely a series I will be coming back to time and time again! I would also love to have the paperbacks on my shelf even if reading on Kindle is very comfortable.

P.S. I loved this book so much. 🥺

ALL MY REVIEWS CAN BE FOUND ON MY BLOG: ABSTRACT BOOKS

line

Star Rating : 4.5/5 Stars

POV : Dual

Cliffhanger : None

Hero : Lincoln

Heroine : Kennedy

Pace of the story : Moderate

Angst Rating : 6/10

Heat Rating : 6/10

Triggers Involved : Past Trauma , Sociopathic Tendencies

Plot Summary :
Kennedy has loved Lincoln all her life. But fate has never been with them. With their families being on each other's throat, they know that they can't have each other. Years and years pass with them yearning for each other. The moment they think they will have it finally, something comes up, pushing them apart again. That is until everything they knew is all proved to be wrong.

Lincoln knows that the girl he loves is not who she appears to be. He knows that she hides a darker part of herself from everyone else and now it is upto him if he can accept it or not. He thinks he knows her, that is until he gets to know about the true extent of her depravity. It's time Lincoln knows the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath. Even if the lesson comes from the very girl he has always loved.

Overall Opinion :
Omg. The twist at the end of book 3 literally had me climbing up walls for the moment I will get this book. I dived into this one on the spot and read it in one go. This book has a very long timeline and starts even before all the events of the other books of this series. The author has made sure to cover each and every part of Lincoln and Kennedy's love story and that is the best part of them all! I hate it when questions are left unanswered but that is not the case here. Ivy made sure to asner it all and I am so happy with that.

This whole series has me hooked so badly and I am so sad to see these characters go! I will definitely recommend this whole series to all the dark romance loving people. The way the author has woven all those tales and the way the storylines are connected is simply amazing!!

‘The Society’ series easily tops my 2021 favourites 🏆

Maybe my brother was right. Lincoln does make me stupid.

If you have been following this delightful series then you might know exactly on what note book #3 ended.
Not gonna lie, but lol, how delusional was I when I thought I knew exactly what I'll be expecting in Do No Evil.

I'm not usually averse to revealing some juicy details of the books in my reviews but for some reason, I cannot bring myself to spoil this for anyone, not even by fluke.

Ivy Fox made my head spin (in a good sorta way) and gave me plot twists that I never even knew I needed. Everything and everyone I doubted from all the previous installments managed to flip their arguments a whole 360°, turning this book into an absolute chaos & can I just say that I WAS HERE FOR IT.

With just one kiss, I now know who is capable of unleashing true misery upon me. It’s the girl with sky-like eyes who I vowed to love for all eternity.

I recommend reading this in chronological order since no book would make complete sense if you read them as a standalone. In most cases, some books in series would fail to shine as bright as the others, but in The Society, each & every one of them shone bright enough to break the darn fuse. I wish I could forget everything just so I could re-read this all over. 😒

× Dual POV.
× Childhood sweethearts.
× Romance with suspense as the side trope.
× Dysfunctional families.
× Misunderstanding between MCs played a big role in #4.
× HEA ending for MCs from book #4 as well as other couples from previous installments.

Oh my God! What a way to end the series! What a way to send Lincoln and Kennedy on their merry way! This series was the epitome of dark romance twisted with tragedies, secrets, angst and heartbreak. The ending made it all worth it though. I was truly gutted for Linc and Kennedy and to my surprise, they became my favorite couple in the series by the end. Lincoln is everything to me. All the trauma they went through, all the push and pulls, especially what Lincoln has gone through, Ivy Fox made me feel them in my bones.

The plot twists all throughout the series were extremely well constructed and came to a satisfying conclusion which rarely happens in series that are this intricate. I am sorry that we have to see these characters go. Anybody who claims to be a fan of dark romance, The Society series should be your go to. I promise you will not be disappointed.

What a ride.. Finally, I reached the end of this series.
I absolutely loved the 4 books (the novella, included), but this 5th not so much.. I think that only the last pages could hold my attention, because throughout the book is all about the past. Things that i already knew about because that's what I've been reading for the past 4 books..
Anyway.. I loved the mind of this author, and I'm sure I will read another books of hers! 🦋

Great ending to this series! This book brings the story back to when Lincoln, Kennedy, and everyone are children and progresses to where the story left off in the last book. From the story, you have more insight into the characters. It was fun reading their different perspectives and understanding how their relationships developed. All the other books focused on a particular couple; this book was no different. It focused on Lincoln and Kennedy but included everyone from the previous books.

There are a few plot twists and surprises. Finally, the mystery of The Society and other questions are resolved. The epilogue left me feeling satisfied.

2.5*

It was okay, I finished it without skimming which is incredible, but I just didn't feel much.

The beginning with them being 12 years old and talking about being weirdos and fucked up gave me Jughead's ''i'm weird, i'm a weirdo" 👁️👄👁️ Oh, and the Penelope Douglas mention...

The taboo trope that is used for more than half of the book is not my favourite and then it was all resolved and forgotten in a minute...and then the abrupt ending. What is it with authors not giving proper endings to their stories, like, the main conflict gets resolved and then baam THE END.
No, I just read a couple of hundred pages to get to the end, give me the ending i deserve with the couple being together and doing couple stuff

“And with a loud cry, my love, my heart, my very soul, pulls the trigger aimed at the heart that loves her.”

The final scintillating story in The Society series does not disappoint! Fox saved the most deviant and depraved tale for last, one of blackened hearts and damaged souls. This dark journey of love and vengeance knocked me off my axis! I wasn’t prepared to for the fusion of fire, ferocity and feels that overtook me. I felt every character and everything.

Do No Evil wraps up this secret society saga in the ultimate revenge tale of a handsome and hardened king who was wronged by many and his beautiful and bold savage queen—forged together by fate—in a world of sin and salvation. Lincoln and Kennedy, a match as formidable as their presidential names, reign with a connection so combustible and force so fierce that you can feel their power and passion burst through the pages.

The truth is revealed with twists and turns you may not see coming in this sinfully delicious series that’s perfectly plotted and flawlessly executed. With its explosive and passionately-told plot with so many moving parts, Do No Evil plays like a movie in your head while reading. A heart-thrashing, edge-of-your-seat, roller coaster of romance that will make your emotions fly as you fall for the family of heroes and heroines and their intoxicating, intertwined love stories. This beautifully crafted dark romance and series stole my breath and owned my heart, leaving me aching for more.

The Society is a top romance series. I can’t bestow enough stars to this saga that owned my heart, challenged my mind, and lived rent-free in my head the whole time reading. Fox is a master story teller and my new unicorn author whose words are life!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ deliciously dark stars

I finally got it right this time. You know when you start a series from its publishing date, and read each book as it comes, the wait is infuriating. I started this series late, so I only had to wait about 3 months for the conclusion and I’ve never been more thankful because this book has been a whole year in the making. Yes, a whole year to finally get the conclusion to this series.
Following the ending of book three I was on pins and needs with anticipation. I was sure, 100% sure that Kenny was up to some shit.

Anyway, Kennedy and Lincoln’s story was angsty and breath bating. The obstacle after obstacle that seemed to stand in the way of their relationship was disheartening. And I loved how our girl fought tooth and nail for her man. I loved Linc. I loved his heart, his gentle giant persona, his patience and solid moral compass. I just wish he was dealt better cards.
So many secrets in the lives of our characters. If you’ve read Colt’s story, (which you should before reading this one), you’d already know about Linc daddy issues, but the story of how he came to exist...

description
I was not ready for that. What kind of shit is that? Really? All that for some revenge? Just when I was recovering from that bomb shell, Jeff and Sierra relationship secret was revealed I thought

This book was a trip. I enjoyed every bit of it. However, I didn’t give it 5* because I had some quibbles with it. The first half of the book I found to be really slow. I appreciated the background of the characters and building up the story since they were kids, but honestly, I just wanted to get to the current state of affairs much quicker. The result of having most of the book reviewing the past, was that the present was a bit rushed. I would have loved to know the details of Kennedy and her mother’s last conversation, as apparently that was the turning point of Kennedy’s character. What brought on Ken’s suspicion of what Jeff was up to? That seemingly came out of nowhere. I felt that the ends were just rushed. Once Linc confronted Colt's dad with his latest discovery, everything rushed to the end. And I’m bummed about that.

Words cannot truly express how much….. *ahem* IFUCKINGLOVEDTHISBOOK. Let me break this down, I 👏🏼 loved 👏🏼 this 👏🏼 book. Please if anyone reads my reviews and will ever listen to any recommendation i give, READ THIS SERIES. it is one of the first series i recommend and so far not one person has not loved it. it’s so good! Ivy is so amazing and talented and I love her.

This book was split between past and present (50/50) and gave us a full picture of Kennedy and Lincoln’s relationship. Both the good and the bad. and omg the bad, this book took my heart multiple times and squeezed it so hard it hurt. I actually cried a couple of times, which is not a common occurrence for me.

Kennedy is the true definition of a ride or die. Everything she went through in her and Linc’s relationship…. she knew what love was and refused to give up or settle. i admire her character so much.

Lincoln, my poor baby. my heart hurt for him. while reading you felt his pain and agony. I wanted to hug him and whisper that everything would be okay in his ear.

I am so, so sad that this series is over. This was an amazing ending. This book pulled so many emotions out of me. This whole series will always hold a place in my heart. I love the storyline, these characters, everything.

Do No Evil is the last book in The Society series and should not be read as a stand-alone. The subplot from the previous 3 books is resolved here.

I feel all kinds of uh about this one. The final instalment of Ivy Fox’s The Society series was not what I was expecting. In terms of plot it tied up all the loose ends, even if it was extremely confusing, and I must admit the motives of the blackmailer weren’t all that. I was hoping for some real big twist but it felt like the story got a little list in this one.

Also the love story of Kennedy & Linc was really blah. They were way too sweet and the angst I felt in the other books just didn’t convey in this one. Maybe because it used a lot of scenes form the first 3 books, I felt a little cheated out of a proper story?

The most frustrating thing about this book was the The Society itself. I was so disappointed by who and what it involved.

I won’t lie though. I’ve enjoyed this series immensely and the first 3 books are fab reads, I think this one just felt a little lack lustre, especially after the first 2 held so much intrigue!

I’ll definitely be reading some more of Ivy Fox’s books. I’m so glad I stumbled across these ones!

All the pieces of the puzzle fall together in this book.
Although the book was about Linc and Kennedy, I was particularly intrigued by the story of Owen and Colleen Richfield-Turner.
Ivy Fox is a master at creating the most amoral of characters, and with the creation of Colleen Richfield, she showed just how well she had mastered this skill. What a vile creature! The more we learn about her, the further she sank in my esteem until there was not a grain left. My sympathy for Owen, on the other hand, grew. How much do you have to love someone to let your own reputation plummet to the point of no return of complying with your partner's requests?
The series went uphill, Finn's book was an introduction, in Ethan's book the characters slowly took shape and in Colt and Linc's books it was full steam ahead! I especially enjoyed the last two books. If I come across another Ivy Fox book on my way, I will certainly consider reading that one too.

My god did this last book deliver on the the gradual build up from the other 3 books in this series and it all made for one hell of an explosive finale. It was definitely a case of leaving the best until last in my opinion. I seriously cant praise this whole series up enough.

Oh boy did Lincoln and Kennedy's book hurt my heart. It takes you on emotional roller coaster and its one that one that id happily be on. So such happens to both of them that im not going to give any spoilers out because trust me they would give away way too much of the plot. Also they are way to flaming good to do that. Im just feeling slightly a bit smug that i worked out who was orchestrating it all. Nope im not saying!! It was an absolutely bloody brilliant ending though and i just loved it. It was another cracking read from Ms Fox

Disappointed:(

Let me just say, I love the previous books, so much in-fact that I set time aside in my calendar to read this book in the hopes that it would be as fantastic as the previous ones in the series, sadly, I was disappointed. This book felt rushed. I couldn’t connect with Kennedy at all, unlike the other women within this series. I actually felt more connected to Anna than I did Kennedy. The only good part about this book for me was getting answers to questions & finding out what the other couples had been up to.
I love this author and loved the other books but this one just wasn’t it for me unfortunately.

Absolutely perfect ending to this amazing series. Do No Evil is the fourth & final book in The Society series. I have had the pleasure of beta reading for IVY and I am sad to see this series end. This is one of my fave series and IVY has outdone herself with this book, I love Lincoln but have not been a fan of Kennedy but as per usual Ivy knows how to put a story together and she completely redeemed Kennedy in my eyes to the point that this is my fave book in the series.

Do No Evil gave us all the answers that us readers were waiting for plus it had you on the edge with the new information we received. The bond these friends have will never grow old and it was great to read a series where the friendships didn't waiver. A great conclusion to a fantastic series.

I'm not going to lie, the first time I tried to read this book I couldn't do it. I was so hyped for this one to come out. From the time I started the series, Lincoln and Kennedy were the couple I was waiting for. But with the way that Colt's book ended and then this one started when they were 12 years old, I jumped way ahead and spoiled the whole thing for myself because I wasn't that patient.

I've had this book on my KU shelf since it came out in October 2021. After spoiling the whole thing, it was a struggle to go back and try and read it from the beginning so I knew I was going to have to let it sit there for a while. I'm sooo glad I did though because finally reading it cover to cover was a great conclusion to the series.

This book goes back in time when compared to the other books. The characters start out at 12 and we see how Easton became friends with the group. From there, we get more insight into Linc and Kennedy's friendship. I knew their story would be sad after the revelation that came in Colt's book, but watching it play out and getting to experience the inner turmoil of Lincoln was heartbreaking. Kennedy is irrevocably in love with Linc and she can't figure out why he won't be with her whereas Linc believes the lie his brother and "father" told him so he's trying not to damn his eternal soul. The taboo isn't one I like and the only saving grace for me in it is that it's not true (if it was I would have quit the book). But when the truth came out, it finally set them both free and I was so happy to see the night Colt told Linc who his true father was from Linc's POV. I wanted that scene and it didn't not disappoint.

There's a lot of psycho in this book. I mean Teddy and Jeff are literally sociopaths. The saving grace for Jeff is that he generally loves Kennedy whereas I don't think Teddy really loved anyone. There's talk that he cares for his mother, but it's not as strong as the love Jeff seems to have for his sister. And kudos to the author for making me mourn Tomboy. He deserved so much better and he was a completely different person than the persona he portrayed in the previous books.

The timeline of this book was a bit weird to me at first (and slow which is why I had to jump the first time I tried to read it) but it does help set the story better to get the depth of Linc and Kennedy's pull towards one another. It was nice to see different events from other books from Ken and Linc's POV. I do think the end could have been better developed. It just seemed rushed. After the "big bad" has been taken care of, we get one chapter which is another big reveal and then a 15 year jump epilogue. I would have liked a chapter in-between or a longer final chapter that gave me more calm romantic moments of Ken and Linc. It did make me mad that Ken still seems to keep some secrets from Linc (I think he keeps some from her too because of a conversation I vaguely remember between Linc and Colt from Colt's book). I mean, secrets literally kept this couple apart for years and almost destroyed them and I don't believe in keeping big secrets from your spouse so it was a let down for me that the author chose to do it that way. Overall, I liked the series. It was a journey and I'm glad I went on it. But I don't see myself reading another Ivy Fox book.

This Book: 3 ⭐⭐ ⭐
Series Rating: 3⭐⭐⭐

We Have
✅ MF Romance
✅ Secret Society
✅ Taboo Relationship
✅ Dark(ish) Themes
✅ Found Family

So we made it!! We're about to wrap this shit up, and I can't be happier! Book 1 got me interested, Book 2 hooked me, Book 3 pissed me the fuck off, and here we are at book 4... I was very excited to jump into this fucker because I NEED ANSWERS.....

What I got was a lot of flashbacks - some I didn't think were necessary and others I guess I needed(?). Lemme say this, though: Linc has been THROUGH IT. Like - this poor baby - jeesh! He deserved his happy ending. I also loved how unhinged Kennedy is. She does not play about her man and her friends.

Wrapping up this book shocked the shit out of me much more than I thought it would. I just knew I was going to have "called it" in my notes and highlights every other reveal. Nah, the author was great at throwing me off my mark. What I didn't like was the flashbacks. I mean, she really started from the beginning. What's worse is we STILL didn't get fucking answers. This ma'am really kept shit on lock until the last 10 pages of the story (not including the epilogue). Like, COME ON, I've got some serious blue balls from waiting - and I honestly was like - oh, ok. Rather than completely blown. By this book, I knew who the villain was, I knew why, and I wasn't surprised by any revelations... wait lemme check my highlights ..... yea - I think the way shit came about shocked me more than the OMG NO WAY shock. I was more shocked that a character had not two, but THREE babies the same age by three different women (lol) I was like OK Daddy... get SOOOOOME!!! Other than that - meh... I did get the feels from this book a bit - one scene made me tear up. It was a nice conclusion to the series.

Let me say this, though. I know if I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. This is just personal preference. I like Smutty (like super smutty), I like taboo shit (they did reference Credence in this book and I had to giggle cause Kennedy was of course reading it, and I like Dark Romance. This was not dark in my opinion. Sure, it had darkish themes. The whole secret thing and the murder plot were dark, I guess. There was also drug use, alcoholism, and character death - but still, it wasn't "dark," if that makes sense. The thing that made this series more than decent but not quite great (if that makes sense) was the way the author carried the plot through ALL four characters, each one connected in every book, as well as the little sub-plots that also carried through a book. I mean, that can't be easy!

Lots of people will love this series. It's not bad by any means. It's decently smutty and easy to get lost in. I kind of just wanted it a bit darker, I think. I don't know what it was missing—it just kind of fell flat at the end, and I was like, "Oh, okay, then..." and moved on to another book.

Damn..... the hell these two kids went through is painful!!! I ended up loving this series.

Lincoln and his crew have been blackmailed by The Society for months now - a new mystery emerges with every secret that's unveiled. This whole time, we've known that Lincoln and Kennedy have been in love, but for some reason Lincoln has refused to act on his love for her - leaving Kennedy to get engaged first with Lincoln's brother Teddy (now deceased) and then Tommyboy (current fiancé). Luckily for Kennedy, she has her twin brother, Jefferson to rely on. When the truth comes out, the entire gang is shooketh. At this point, you could guess what was going to happen for the most part. I was shocked by two things. In the end, my heart was broken several times and I cried!!!!!! The entire team end up with their HEAs. Kennedy and Lincoln especially earned theirs.

It’s messy and brutal, but so is our love. It’s not pretty. Or comfortable. And it sure as shit doesn’t come out of any fairy tale book. But it’s ours. Which makes it perfect.

So, I was mad about a few things - primarily that 85% of this book was flashbacks of Linc and Kennedy growing up and why they made all of the decisions they did. It made sense that we needed some of that information, but a lot of it was a repeat of what we already read, which became tedious. Since so much time was spent on flashbacks, it left very little time for Ken and Linc to be together as a couple.

Overall - I gave this series a 4, which is mostly because of Easton's stellar performance.

Things I didn't like or would have changed..... some of these are spoilers so don't freaking read them - I wanted them here for my notes.

Do No Evil is the fourth and final book of The Society series! It has been a wild ride with these characters and their stories. I’ve been anticipating this book so much and it really surprised me.

Ever since I read the ending of the previous book I was so anxious to know what happens next. Lincoln and Kennedy are both characters that became intriguing to me since they were first introduced. Reading from the other povs in the previous books I could get a glimpse of the connection they have but I didn’t realize how strong it really was until reading this book, in their povs. I have to say that this book surprised me so much!! I was NOT expecting the things that happened…to happen. Just by the way this book was written it made it easier to understand and truly get the full story. Lincoln and Kennedy both have such strong personalities and together they become explosive. Both of them feel so deeply that when the things that hurt them the most happen, it makes you feel for them.

Ivy Fox really concluded this series very well. Do No Evil has many revelations that had me on the edge of my seat! It was nice reading how everything went down in the pov of these characters. Something I really enjoyed about this series is the friendships and how that bond always remains strong. Overall this was a great conclusion and I’m going to miss these characters!

What a conclusion!
If you have read the previous books in the series when starting this book you think you know what will happen but... this book is much more than what anyone expected!

Ivy Fox deserves a standing ovation and I am still not over this series!

Lincoln my poor baby, has so suffered so much in the past. The abuse, neglect and heartache he has faced, makes you want to protect him. Happiness seems to be an unrealistic dream, he is struggling with his past, The Society and... Kennedy!

Kennedy is exactly how I imagined her to be loud, brave, protective, stubborn and cunning. She will fight the world for Lincoln, and watch the world burn happily if it will mean that Lincoln is safe and happy.
I can say I'm impressed by Kennedy and wanted to know more about her.
She is not what she seems, the fact remains are you ready to meet the real Kennedy?

I was really intrigued by Lincoln and Kennedy since the first book. I think they became my favourite couple, followed by Scarlett and Easton (Speak No Evil).
The book starts from Lincoln and Kennedy's childhood and follows the previous tales journey, but it is focusing on Lincoln and Kennedy's life and perspective. It was nice to read my favourite scenes again and to have a deeper look at Lincoln and Kennedy perspective.

Secrets of the past will be revealed!
Can Lincoln save his friends or will The Society break them?
