I grew up in the rural Midwest before moving to the East Coast with a dashing young man who swept me off my feet, and we've now settled in the desert of Nevada. I write M/M contemporary romance, subgenres: sweet low angst, age-gap, cowboys, mysteries, and military/mercenary to name a few. I am a firm believer in "Love is Love" regardless of how it presents itself, and I'm a staunch ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I have a loving, supportive family, and I feel blessed by the universe and thankful every day for all I have been given. I’m old enough to know how to have fun, but too old to care what others think about my definition of a good time. In my heart and soul, I believe I hit the cosmic jackpot. Cheers!

The storytelling was great and the build up made me anticipate that moment… the moment they came together…

And it was fade to black then told some vague details the morning after. And then every sex scene following was fade to black as well.

If there’s a huge pet peeve for me, it’s that. I realize this is a novella but there was plenty of time to spend some time to describe these men finally coming together. Leaving that out made me feel like I was robbed of the best part of their story.

Sooo, I did like this story but I had a couple of problems. First of all, I unfortunately couldn't warm to Lena, although she wasn't in the story for the most part, thank goodness!!, she was sooooo annoying and I'm sooooo glad Felix put his foot down on her presumptuous ways near the end of the tale. The second part was that Felix came off a bit arrogant at first, even though it was to hide his feelings, it still rankled. But, it didn't take long to finally enjoy the tale, especially with Lena out of the picture. (And what is it with her and gay men????) Anyway, this ended up cute and an enjoyable read.
