A person who starts his career in finance has a lot to look forward to. I have often said that finance is the life blood of business and without business no country can survive. CFO NITI illustrates this with a peek into the life and insights of six of the most powerful CFOs of corporate India. The books gives a guidance to both incumbents as well as veterans as to the role of a finance as well as that of the CFO in typical business irrespective of size and how its a career and position to aspire for As a person aspiring to take over as the CFO of a group this is a book which I would recommend to all youngsters who are starting out in this fields. Hats off to the authors for the effort taken to compile the messages of some of the greatest gems of India in this field. For a person from non finance background also this book will serve as a good introduction to the complex and exciting world of finance and as to how a the department and CFO adds value to a company and thereby enables it to contributes to the GDP of the nation

The one biggest takeaway for me has been the transformation in the role of a CFO. This wasnt something I was aware of, and thanks to the book now know it a lot better. And it sure sounds very exciting !
