I love a heroine like Finley-intelligent as hell and guarded. I loved her backstory which had me rooting for her, especially as those walls came down. I loved Will so much. Loved his love for his sisters. Loved seeing these two get their second chance thanks to Mother Nature and all the delicious juicy romance tropes we expect from a Desire novel!

Liked it or really liked it. Not sure so maybe 3.5 *
This is the fourth in the series and it looks like Finley Smythe played a significant role in at least one of them. I'm assuming her job loss occurred in the one for the couple she is coordinating the wedding for in the opening pages of Ever After Exes. She's mid thirty's and has spent her life working for her step-father who is now in jail for skimming off campaign funds. This seems strangely familiar in the recent political climate.
Finley comes across as maybe a bit of a tough cookie, keeping her distance from people. She doesn't believe in happy ever afters because of a failed love affair in the dawn of time. AKA fifteen years ago when she was a little 21yr old intern. Since then she's had no "relationships" only casual sex to scratch an itch. Sex positive is a good thing, but this came across as a little sad because she was never open to a real relationship in fifteen years.
Now we are at her brother's wedding and who should turn up but Will Taylor, the young man from her intern years who has gone on to bigger and better things, including a dating app with a good percentage of happy ever after outcomes. Will will get points for effort, even if he was unsuccessful on the dating front.
When they are thrown together post wedding, stranded at a ranch due to weather and landslides, it gives them a chance to review the past.
Basically we have two people at a crossroads in their lives. Finley has had her plans destroyed by her step-father's actions. Will is wanting to settle down with a woman who is nothing like Finley and is going on a dating game show based on his app to find her.
I do like a story with mature protagonists who are able to talk through things. Finley however is still carrying baggage from the past so some of her choices were a little suspect.
I did enjoy the ending and if I'd read the other stories would have been pleased to see the cameos from other books main protagonists.

I'm a sucker for a second chance. And once I learned what it was that tore this pair apart, I knew that I needed to see them get another shot to make this relationship right. I loved how infinitely capable and how very prepared Finley was to deal with anything. I loved seeing the care and attention Will lavished on his sisters. And that that same care and attention was generously given to all the people he considered important in his life. Both of them are carrying a great deal of emotional baggage that got in their way fifteen years ago, and was still getting in their way. Would they have gotten their second chance if it weren't for Mother Nature throwing a storm in their way? Probably not. But I'm just glad I got to see them clear the air and find a way forward. If I had doubts about any of the earlier parts of the book, they were washed away in the sweetness of the ending, and then the silliness of the final chapter that I’m calling the “epilogue”. Whatever the author has in store for us next, I’m already looking forward to reading it.

I'm kind in-between when I think of how much I liked EVER AFTER EXES. I received a free ARC of this book and I found it enjoyable, but not the best thing I've read recently.

For a fourth book in a series, there wasn't a lot of information that was missing. It seems there is a spoiler for the second book, and Finley apparently played a large role in that story as well, but not much else seems to be from the other books.

Even though it was a shorter read, I liked how their past relationship came out into conversations and things made more sense once each character stopped alluding to the past and instead stated their full thoughts.

I will say there was a lot going on that I had to keep track of, from Finley's issues to Will's, to whatever is going on between them, etc. Overall this was a good read, but not the best.

***ARC Provided by Hidden Gems Books***

I have certain expectations of what I consider a category romance, and this one met all of them.

Will and Finley had a breakup that probably didn't need to happen, but it also worked as they were young enough at the time that the things that were set in front of them would have seemed insurmountable and, honestly, might have been.

But, 15 years later, those obstacles are removed and the attraction is still between them.

This was a pretty typical trapped somewhere by weather, although the power outage made it a little less romantic as I hate those, that resulted in them talking things out and finding a way to make the relationship work in the future.

I enjoyed this shorter quick read and I recommend it.

This is book four in The Titans of Tech series and it is Will and Finley's story and it is definitely worth reading. Will and Finley have history that didn't end very well at all but now they have to work together because of a dating app that Will came up with but will this be there second chance after how it ends before even though Finley doesn't believe in love where as Will wants it all but what will happen when they are stranded alone on a ranch during a storm. Wow the chemistry between Will and Finley is just as strong as it used to be and you could feel it sizzling of the pages of this book but what will the outcome be for them as they are so perfect together and definitely deserve a happy ending. I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting and I had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I can't wait to read more books in this series. Susannah Erwin certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

With a sorted past threatening to dismantle her career and her reputation, Finley Smythe has become an expert at fighting battles for the people she loves. What she’s not so good at is looking out for herself, hence the situation she finds herself in. Growing up with an absent father and a cold-hearted stepfather, one who tries to mold Finley into the political ally he can utilize, she's had little time to consider what she is working for and why.

But that all changes when she attends her brother's wedding and encounters Will Taylor, the only man who has ever opened her heart, even just a little. They met young at a time when influential forces led her away from Will, ending their bond abruptly and leaving frayed, unresolved feelings in their wake. But here he is, right in front of her, looking even better than she remembers.

After the wedding and her encounter with Will, Finley expects to return to her not-so-great life, but an unexpected complication has other plans.

Finely is used to facing adversity, her outer core tough as nails, but this new challenge might just be the one that makes or breaks her for good.

I really liked this story by Susannah Erwin. I immediately invested in the characters and sailed through this book faster than I do with most. The writing is exquisite (with a few typos), and the plot is tight, with ample tension and a smooth pace. I will definitely read more by this author.

The cover of this is misleading as the majority of this book takes place at the Vineyard that’s featured in the previous two books or the ranch that’s introduced in this book (but not a cowboy ranch a billionaire’s retreat ranch so there’s a fancy library and horses). Taking place after the previous two books we start with Nelle and Grayson’s wedding (Cinderella Unmasked) and deal with more fallout of their book. While this book was good there a lot going on that you need to keep track of.

Also I know billionaire weddings are very different from regular people weddings but…does it really take you a year to plan a wedding for someone else? To the point where it basically replaces your job? Also, why would you want someone else to be that involved in planning your wedding? Having help I get but, plan for you? Totally not my thing but that’s my issue not the book/plot’s issue.

This is the 4th and final book in the “Titans Of Tech Book Series”. I love reading about 2nd chances at romance. Will and Finley were a couple 15 years ago when the two were doing a college internship. Will and Finley were dealing with a lot baggage that they seemed to not have unpacked and put away; thus the break up occurred. Will and Finley both have unfinished between them that is going get resolved one way or another. Mother Nature is at her best when a storm strands the couple in a cabin. With no where to go and no one around the couple end of rekindling their romance. Finley was not trying to end up in bed with Will but it worked out for the best and there is most definitely an HEA.

I enjoyed this book, finding it engaging and well-written. I don't always enjoy second time around romances, since the characters often don't mature in the between time. In this case, I thought they did, and that they did grow in the course of the story.
I received a copy for judging.

A fairly quick story to read. Finley and Will are a couple who get a second opportunity to find lasting love with each other. The author has created characters that are witty and like able. Finley is tough and focused on keeping herself from getting hurt. Will is determined not to lose her a second time. They both have to learn what it is to compromise and listen to what the other needs before they can find that happily ever after.

This is the 4th book in the Titans of Tech series featuring Will and Finley's forced proximity second chance romance. Will and Finley were a couple 15yrs ago when they were younger and when they broke up Will swore that Finley broke his heart. They both have a ton of emotional baggage that they're dragging around. When a storm strands them together at the cabin on the ranch can this be the opportunity that Will needs to win her back or because she doesn't believe in love will she stay single? You really need to read this wonderful forced proximity second chance romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Loved this next book in the Titans of Tech series!
It’s like fate playing a game with Finley and Will as they meet again after their disastrous break up back during their college internships. I feel for Finley, the strong female protagonist as she protects her brother from the drama of her father’s downfall. Then’s there Will who is on the cusp of a reality TV show based on his dating app with a sudden change in heart after meeting the one that got away. Fate plays matchmaker bringing them back together, but how can it all play out with a happily ever after when Finley’s world is spiraling out of control and Will has his show to do? You have to read to find out and won’t put the book down until you turn the last page!

There is nothing like a second chance for a couple that was not quite finished when they called it quits in the past. Will and Finley broke up when they were young and it may have been that they needed the break to grow and then return to one another when they were grown up and a lot of the challenges that were against them had been removed. When weather forces them to spend time together they resume a physical relationship. They also have a chance to start rebuilding their relationship and moving forward together. I enjoyed this second chance romance.

After a storm strands them together, exes Will and Finley reignite their physical relationship. He wants true love, but she doesn't believe in forever. Can Will change her mind?

If you love steamy forced proximity, second chance romance, this book is for you. It's nice to see a romance where the hero is the romantic one, while the heroine is more practical.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
