For a short book, I enjoyed it a lot. There were some incredibly sweet moments and some heartbreaking moments. I despise Isabel and all she tried to do. I hate women like her. I genuinely think she should be in jail, but Sienna is a thousand times nicer. Shes just happy with Mark. I also think her sister and her ex are pieces of crap. But they are dead so she cant hate them. Sienna really stepped up even though she was abandoned and neglected and wasnt the favorite. She loves her niece and nephews. Mark is a great support system for her. Im really scared about what Isabel will do and what Craig is up to. Something is fishy.

Cute book about reconnecting with family and the past. I liked the story line and that in the end Sienna was able to do what was best for her and her sister's kids. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. I would have given it 5 stars but the characters perspectives and written in a 3rd person changing who was the one stuff was happening too was a little awkward. I think it should have been written in 1st person and just switched characters in each chapter. Otherwise I did over all enjoy the book.

Familiar Dysfunntionality

It happens in lots of families; more often than not it takes a tragedy to recognize and come together to heal. I'm an avid turtle lover and felt completely as one with the characters in this book. Will definitely be continuing the series. Thank you Brigitte for touching the heart strings.
