I met her in a hospital room after a freak accident. She's perfect. Beautiful, nerdy, and takes no crap from anyone. But I missed her discharge and we never got a chance to exchange info. Great. Did I just miss my chance with the woman of my dreams?
Tim Paige’s transition from narrator to author is seamless. Buttercupped is the perfect afternoon read, filled with a whole lot of witty banter and sweet dialogue. Logan and Jean are a match made in heaven and I absolutely adored their swoon worthy journey to a HEA.
Buttercupped will be released November 1st and available with Kindle Unlimited.
Be sure to also pick up the audiobook narrated by the author, Tim Paige and Avery Reid.
I absolutely loved this super sweet and hilarious short novella! I love Tim Paige as a narrator, and find him very funny on his podcast, The Love Gods. This is Tim’s debut as an author, and I knew this would be very funny for sure if he was writing it. He did not disappoint! I found myself either laughing or smiling so much throughout the telling of Logan and Jean’s story. Yes it was short, but I felt that the story had a great flow, and I felt like I knew these characters. The banter in this is EPIC… it was my favorite part of the book. It was so funny, witty, sweet, and sometimes sexy. This story as a whole had my heart full and super happy. Loved all the Marvel references. It was awesome to hear Tim narrate his own book, hear that excitement, great job! Avery Reid did a amazing job capturing Jean’s quirky cute character. LOVED THIS!
Congrats Tim on his debut novella! I have always enjoyed Tim's narration so I was thrilled to listen to a book that Tim wrote. I really enjoyed Jean & Logan's story. Lots of fun banter! And it was amazing to hear Tim narrate his own story. Avery Reid did a great job as Jean. I'm looking forward to more books by Tim.
This was okay. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I was into Marvel and comics and stuff?? Both MCs are diehard Marvel, X-men fans. I’ve seen lots of the movies, but that’s it. I’m not into comics or trivia about all that. So, I was probably not properly getting into the story because of that. It was cute, sure, just not my taste.
This quick read was absolutely adorable! So many great cultural & nerdy references (embrace the nerdom ❤️) combined with a very sweet story about the fortuitous meeting of two people obviously meant for each other. Throw in a dash of near collisions and a comically candid best friend, and we get this charming debut story from narrator, and now author, Tim Paige!
It would have been easy to fit this in as an eyeball read but I'm very happy I experienced it as an audiobook. Tim and Avery did a great job as usual, and I felt this story had so much of 'Tim' in it (based on what I know/see/hear from him through SM and The Love Gods 😉), that I can't imagine reading it without hearing him in my head anyway!
Oh man, I am pretty impressed!!! One of my favorite narrators wrote a book and this is it!!!! Congrats and I love every minute of it!!!! This novella is just beautiful and delightful full with nerdy and comic references to funny banter moments!!! I do love Jean and Logan’s chemistry and how the character/story development went quite smoothly. Tim Aka the author and Avery Reid did a great performance narrating together. It was one of those when you are wanting to have a “feel-good” story to listen to, this is it! Now, I wonder if Eric will have a novella. If Tim write Eric’s story, I will definitely be looking forward to it!
loved it. i think all stories no matter what they are about ...you gotta have a bit of cheese to get it all right in your heart ...sentimental and all ... loved it. great listen. get some tissue and go on listen. so fun. loved it all the way from the beginning to the end. had me wondering ...so quick and done you will be wanting to listen to it all ... don't miss a bit. loved it. so so good. yes this is one of those moments where i wished that Amazon would stop being silly and allow me to review again ... please or read this ... so good. i did a listen. great Audible book. loved it all. so fun. must listen kind of a read go on, check it out.
Do yourself a favor and get this book now! Better yet, snag the audio. Buttercupped is a 62 page novella, a 1.5 hour audiobook, and quite possibly the most romantic story ever.
This debut book by the very talented Tim Paige is utterly charming! A funny meet-cute in a hospital room leads to the nerdiest Serendipity-esque romance. I floved this super quick listen and can’t wait for more of Tim Paige’s stories!
This book is definitely “extra medium”.
Tim Paige & Avery Reid are absolute perfection in the audiobook. Buttercupped is a fun, flirty, awesomely nerdy listen.
Tim of one of my favorite narrators, so I’ve been eagerly waiting for his first book to be released. It was sweet and funny. As someone who is single and can understand how tough it is to meet someone, I can relate to what Jean and Logan are going through. Their story made me so happy!
Anyone who needs a short, sweet story to make them smile, read this. Better yet, listen to the audio. It’s fantastic!
This book is every comic book nerd or comics book movie nerds dream story.
This book is a slight twist on the typical romance schtick and that was so fun! I could see how the the typical things were going to happen but they happened so organically that it was perfect!
This book was narrated by Tim Paige who also authored the book and Avery Reid. They were a great pair for this. Their voices blended quite well!
As an avid listener of Tim’s podcast with his best friend Liam DiCosimo (who the character of Erik is based on) I found this completely adorable. This book might win a world record for the most nerd culture/pop culture references in a single novella. It follows the expected structure of a rom-com, no big surprises, just some easy reading and one particular belly laugh for me thanks to Erik.
There is just something about an author narrating their own work. Tim is an incredible voice actor who brings such life to everything he does but narrating his own book? amazing! I feel like I'm sitting in the hospital room with Jean and Logan!
This novella is just perfect, peppered with cute and sexy flirting, super witty banter (some belly laughs included!) and first class supporting characters. In true Avery Reid fashion, she has done a wonderful job as Jean.
I loved this novella so much. From the Marvel references to Serendipity. From the moment they met their connection was so beautiful, finding your soul mate is what we all long for. The narration was absolutely perfect. Well done! I highly recommend this book.
For all those who don't belong or have been told by society that they are too much and they should tone it down, this book is for you. To find a connection with someone who accepts every crazy and weird part of you is very rare. If you find it, you have to grasp this person and never let go. Stay your amazing and unique self in a world that wants you to just fit in.
What a wonderful debut novella from Tim Paige. I have enjoyed him as a narrator but he has written a delightful story. As a fan of all the pop culture mentioned, I laughed at the jokes. Serendipity is one of my favorite tropes and movies.
I really enjoyed this novella. The characters were fun and quirky, which made them very appealing. It was a cute story that cheered me up and made me smile, and laugh a bit. Excellent book!
I love Tim Paige as a narrator, so when I found out he wrote a novella, there simply wasn’t a question as to whether or not I’d read it! This was sweet and delightfully nerdy! The pop culture references were on point, and the only “fault” I have with it is that I just wanted more!
