Why are odd things happening at the construction site on Jack’s land? Jack’s tragic family history, which he had relegated to the past, unexpectedly resurfaces. Is there a connection? And what about the strange disappearances in the nearby town of Everton?
Jack pursues the evidence, but will anyone believe the answers?
I am not sure were to begin. This story was so much more than what I had anticipated. I actually skipped over it quite a few times🤦🏾♀️The author has written a great story with believable character's. I am a horror fanatic and this author had me totally held in a trance with the flow of this book. I am on my way to purchase book number 2😎
I won this from a Goodreads giveaway. I was surprised how much I liked this book and it really held my attention! Jack and two other investors are building a huge lodge on land that has been in Jack's family for years. Lately there has been some sightings of a huge sasquatch type of creature living in the woods. Pets and barn animals go missing. Jack tries to get to the bottom of it, and wonders if he needs to scrap his whole lodge for the safety of everyone. This book ended on a cliff-hanger. Now I must purchase the next book!
** I received this as a part of a Goodreads giveaway.** Wow. Wow. Wow. One of the best thriller/horror books I’ve read this year. Over the course of the book, the tension built so much until it reached a crescendo that made the book absolutely impossible to put down. The woods were absolutely suffocating and I remember feeling claustrophobic especially in the beginning, as if the woods were creeping closer and closer, and I could feel like someone was watching me. The characters were believe able, everything was so fast-paced, and I’m not usually into Bigfoot like stories, but this was amazing. I’m literally DYING to get my hands on the next one in the series. Loved this!
Nobody dies. (Except Tom in first chapter, I assume) No suspense. No attacks. A video. Reports missing farm animals. Really gigantic "angry monsters" that stare at you and herd you but leave you alone. I ended up speed reading and skimming from chapter 2 til end. A monster chase at end. That's it. Should have known better than to read a bigfoot book. Sorry but this author needs to spice it up. Alot
I got this in a Goodreads Giveaway and I love me some sci-fi style books and a book that deals with the woods and outdoorsy was just up my alley. I’m ready to read the second one…great descriptions of characters and scenes that had me on edge and reading faster!
Wow I have read other Sasquatch stories but this one is the best I have read so far! I’m definitely going to read more of this series….the action and suspense is first rate and the characters believable and you really get caught up in their conflicts with the creatures.
Evil and intelligent beings stalking a particular family or so it seems. Unseen had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would come next throughout the novel. I would definitely read it again in the future!
Or is that Bigfeets? I'm not sure if I liked this book or not. Jack owns what was an old campground with dilapidated cabins. He decides it would be a lodge and has a whole group of partners. But they didn't ask the critters...
Okay. I never thought I would enjoy a book about Bigfoot. But this book literally kept me on the edge of my seat. Great descriptions that make you think you are there, the author paints a great picture. The characters are pretty great too. I am definitely interested in finishing this trilogy.
I received this book through a Goodreads giveaway.

Something is in the woods. It's large, it’s powerful, and it's filled with rage. Everyone knows the legends of Bigfoot, but has this elusive creature ever been so terrifying? Unseen is a thrilling tale that's equal parts gripping and unsettling. I loved every page and I can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy. - Jim X Dodge, author of The Bite and Erogenous Jones: Private Dicktective
Ok now I have to wait for the next book because I really liked this one. If you're looking for friendly cute Bigfoot this is not your book. These Bigfoot are angry and they are not looking for friends. I'm hooked to see how this plays out and how far the Bigfoot will go in pushing jack and his family off the land. Will be following the author for updates on when book 2 is out.
Really well-developed characters and an engaging story about the family and the people or thing that may be stalking them. This book also has an old-school spookiness to it that I enjoyed. If you are looking for a well-written story to engage you, check this one out.
