This is a fast paced, action packed thriller. A book that includes underhand business takeovers, corrupt politicians, Chinese Triad gangs and kidnappings. The author pulls it all together very well and has Tom Hunter, a former special forces operative, now working for a private company as his enforcer!
When a young banker is kidnapped Hunter is appointed to rescue him. Due to a twist in fate the mission becomes personal for him and blood begins to flow.
As well as being full of action there are also interesting twists to the tale.
Full marks to Ted Denton on a wonderful book.

Hostile is a very exciting and enjoyable book. The tension builds steeply with the intelligent and original back story into to an explosive, relentless, non-stop page turner.
Following the polished re-release of Ted Denton's pulsating debut thriller Tight Lies, which is well worth a read, The Tom Hunter books are now, for me, turning into an unmissable action thriller event!
Smart, subtly humorous and exciting - underpinned with visceral action. This series seems to be right on the money when it comes to organised crime, rogue states and secretive political double dealing.
Highly recommended.

This is a new author for me which I enjoyed from beginning to end. This is a suspensful story that is full of action and has twists and turns that left me sitting on the edge of my seat. This is a well written story that has characters that not only brought the story to life but also made it hard to put down. They are relateable and truly made the story for me. A story of race against time and who will win? I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

This story is coming out September the 14, 2021. This is a novel with character Tom Hunter, he is an kidnap- rescue operative. the other characters that you find in this thrilling action pack, dangerously corruption, with so many deadly twist. You will fine people like, Eric Fu, Mae, Kyle McGann, Ella, Alec Bisset, Patrick Bucannon, and so many others. I enjoyed reading these actions storylines that have you turn pages all the way to the end.

Action-packed, intense and unputdownable!
Ted Denton knows a thing or two of how to pack in the excitement! This, his second Tom Hunter novel (first one is Tight Lies), is a roller-coaster ride from the start. Action-packed and intense. Loved every minute of it. Five stars!

This was the second book I have read in the Tom Hunter series. The main character, Tom Hunter has continued to impress me. Again, the sequel was well written with a good story. A big thank you to the author Ted Denton and I look forward to the next book in this series. A well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just finished Denton’s 2nd book in the Tom Hunter series. Love it. It’s gritty, brutal, tense and doesn’t let you put it down!

Good and gripping

This is my first read by this author and I found it to be an engaging read. I thought the first quarter was quite slow though and was more setting up the scenes and introducing the characters. Then the book started to really pick up its pace and became a much more thrilling read. I liked the main character, he was likeable and very believable. He is asked to find someone who has been kidnapped and safely return them. This then becomes a very personal issue to Tom when events take a tragic turn he wants revenge and payback. I felt the story had a good plot line and was written well. As always there are characters that I loathed and I wanted to see them get what they deserved. I enjoyed the twists in the story although they didn’t wow me. I’d be interested in reading another book featuring this character.
