Forgy started writing at a young age but never took it seriously until years later, as a stay-at-home mom, she opened her laptop and started writing again. Dark, dangerous, and a little on the disturbed side… this twisted retelling of the tale of Hercules is absolutely addictive.

I was awake until 1am finishing Hero last night - I could not walk away from this book! The pacing is excellent. It is told in dual POV that begins with a little bit of Godric’s backstory over several chapters. I liked that Forgy gave us that chunk of chapters entirely of Godric. It allowed me to understand the inner workings of his mind better, and get a real feel for just how deprived he really is.

Our leading lady, Monet, is strong willed, and sick and tired of relying on others who only use her for their benefit. Faced with a number of moral dilemmas as she is pushed into a position that leaves her questioning how much trust she can put in Godric, their love story isn’t instant… but it is oh so satisfying when they finally give in to one another!

I absolutely loved Hero. When I read romance books I need them to have that something extra to bring the wow factor to the story, and M. N. Forgy always brings the action and drama.

Hero by MN Forgy is the second installment in the multi-author VII Knights MC series. I love MN Forgy, but this one just wasn't for me. I think that maybe it was the length? We got a lot of background info on Godric and he's one of those alphaholes that you love to hate at the beginning of a story. Completely full of himself and does whatever he wants. I just think that the book wasn't long enough for me to actually come to like him or be rooting for him, lol. I also felt like it was missing a little build-up for other parts of the story. Still, it was well written, fast paced, and the smexy times were smoking. Will definitely be reading more of MN Forgy as well as this awesome, gritty series!

5 villainous stars! A story born in desperation & vengeance.



What a dark and gritty retelling of the classic fairy tale of Hercules I just read! I loved all the twists and turns M.N. Forgy gifted us for the second instalment in the VII Knights MC series. Her interpretation of this fairy tale is obscure, dangerous and a little bit disturbing and very addictive. It was hard for me to put this book down.

To be honest I didn't expect to fall in love with this series so easily. Yes I love retellings but MC books aren't really my thing but this series proves me wrong. They can be aggressive and violent but why are they so good? Since starting this series and knowing all the authors who are working in this project, I found myself drawn to it, adding all the books to my TBR. Radge was a spectacular beginning for this series and left great expectations for the next instalments and M. N. Forgy didn't disappoint me. Also, this is my first time reading her and what a wild ride it was.

Godric and Monet have nothing in common but their damaged souls. Godric, a ruthless dangerous man. Monet, a strong woman trying to find her way after being dumped by her ex after she saved him by putting herself in the hands of evil. Their romance story begins out of desperation and vengeance. Throw in scorching hot chemistry and danger and you are witnessing an epic love story.

It wasn't hard to love Godric as I'm a fan of everything related to Greek mythology. Knowing that Hercules' story is quite dark I expected some darkness in Godric and M.N. Forgy nailed it with this character. He is known as an evil murderer, a lethal anti-hero and the heir to the VII Knights MC presidency. His name alone is rough and deathly. Being accused of murdering his girlfriend takes him straight to a mental facility. Getting out and returning to home was his goal until the circumstances forced him to take the presidency of the VII Knights MC although he had to fulfil 3 tasks before taking what rightfully corresponds to him. Enter here Monet, the young woman he saved and who also was a way to destroy his enemy.

Monet has been used by men but when Godric saves her and makes her his captive, everything changes in this twisted game. The man who saved her is also her villain. A dark knight who will eat her soul and brake her hearth if she is no careful. A common enemy brought them together. She sold her soul to one devil and to win her freedom she will betray her hero. Being a captive seems to be her unrequited hobby. However she has the strength to fight her own battles.

This incredible talented author crafted a rough, wicked story, tainted in death, betrayal, desperation, vengeance, brotherhood and redemption. Adding here and there elements from the original fairy tale that fit just right and make this book a fusion of fire, danger and lethal feels. The plot is dark and dramatic, the romance is provocative and sinful. The characters are complex and a little perverse, especially the hero.

I highly recommend you to read this book! I’m sure it will leave you a good taste. Prepare yourself for a wild journey in company of this amazing characters. You won’t see the classic fairy tale of Hercules with the same eyes after reading this incredible book.

I read the first book Radge in this series and each one is an individual unique story within the same motorcycle club. This the the story of Godric but I think to understand hi better I need to tell you that it is a dark r retelling of Hansel and Gretel. Now I know how can that be right?? When I saw that I thought what in the world didn't Hansel and Gretel come across the witch and ultimately defeat her but not before she tires to fatten them up to eat them. I just couldn't tell how you retold that particular fairytale. This story is fast paced and you won't want to put it down when you pick it up. Within the first few pages of the book you are going to find out that our hero is in the a psych ward and I will warn you that the beginning of the book might have you wanting to put it down. Don't though or you might regret it. If you love a real anti-hero than you will find that in Godric. Monet is a girl that has been used by many men and one of those men just might be Godric's arc enemy Godric who is also his nephew. Monet is just what Godric needs and she is now being held captive by Godric. These two have some serious chemistry flying between them. Trust me when I say it is a slow burn kind of chemistry too. I just knid of hit the headlights of what I like about each one of the characters' but you have to read to figure out the story because I'm all over the place trying not to five away any spoilers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Godric and Monet) HERO follows in the wake of the death by the VII Knights MC president. Godric is the heir apparent to the MC presidency but our anti-hero was currently under psychiatric care at a local hospital, for the murder of his former girlfriend. Desperate to get back to the MC, Godric forces the people in charge to sign his release, only to return to the MC too late to save his dad. With the MC presidency not a sure thing, Godric must follow a list, a list that has Godric focusing on family and blood. Meanwhile, Godric saves a young woman from an attack, and days later, said woman will arrive at the club, setting up the MC for a fall. As a prisoner of the VII Knights MC, Monet struggles between head and heart knowing her life may be forfeit if her debt isn’t repaid. What ensues is the building relationship between Godric and Monet, and the fall-out a Godric’s need for vengeance doesn’t go according to plan.


The relationship between Godric and Monet begins out of desperation and vengeance. Godric is hoping to take down a supporter MC, and Monet is the key to access and information. A prisoner of the VII Knights MC, Monet knows that her time may be limited, but a debt must be paid, and Monet has no idea if she is the ultimate prize. The $ex scenes are impassioned and intense.


HERO is a story of betrayal, desperation and vengeance, family and brotherhood, death and loss, acceptance and moving forward. The fast paced premise is dark and dramatic; the romance is provocative; the characters are broken, desperate and lost.

Crazy Good Book

Shocking, gripping and twisted are the first set of words that come to mind when I think about this book. Hero is a thrilling, dark and a bit disturbing story, and I enjoyed reading every word in the book. It has a dramatic beginning with our anti-hero Godric waking up with memory loss and finding his girlfriend dead. This MC story is like no other, as Godric finds himself placed in a psychiatric hospital and the heir to the MC presidency. While the heroine Monet is at the mercy of the VII Knights MC rivals and is saved by Godric, only to end up later being his prisoner.
This book is filled with excitement, drama and anticipation. Hero is an enemies-to-lovers story wrapped up with betrayal, vengeance, death, desperation and family issues. The characters are a blast, the plot is excellent, and the pace and flow of the story are good.

This was a quick read where I find myself in a weird spot in that I feel like I got a good story. I devoured the book and, in the end, was satisfied with it, but in the same breath, I want more.

Wonky? Yeah, but the truth. And why do I feel like I want more?

Godric. I feel like I have a pretty good handle on the guy. When he cares, he cares hard and this kicks in a drive to do something about it but there isn’t always a leash that holds him back. Money was pretty fierce. She’s in between a rock and hard place, but owns it and does what she needs to do. Their journey to their HEA is all kinds of insta, but considering who they both are it wasn’t a surprise. So, things move fast but they work in way that has me believing that as time goes on they will only get stronger.

As I said before. This was a quick, interesting read that had me wanting more, but also being satisfied with all that I was given. There are triggers, but nothing I wouldn’t expect from an MC romance in general. As for the secondary cast of characters, I really liked Pegs and wouldn’t mind getting my hands on a book about him.

This a fast paced short book. It’s a loose retelling of Hercules.
It’s a bit twisted and gritty. It starts off with Godric in a shocking situation.
He’s then in a psychiatric hospital.
I was wondering how I would root for this character after the way it started.
That changed easily enough, I am a sucker for an anti hero.
Monet has been used by men and is in a really unfortunate situation with Godric’s uncle. An uncle who is his enemy.
She then is being held and used by Godric.
There chemistry is great, they have conflicted feelings about each other so it has a great tension buildup between them. Very steamy.
I liked the strength Monet and Godric grew into, the author did show their personal changes by the end of the story and that was satisfying.
I know that it isn’t easy to have multi dimensional characters in such a short book.
I think the author did that, I was pleased with the ending.
There are a few emotional aspects to the story that gave it heart.
The secondary characters also added and gave it an emotional boost.
It’s a quick, enjoyable darker story. A lot happens in a quick time frame.

MN Forgey has given us a dark and gritty MC story in the world of the VII Knights clubs. Godric is a troubled soul at the very best, but an evil murderer is what most know him by.

When the mantle of becoming Prez falls heavy on his shoulders, Godric is willing to step up to the challenge. His dad knew he would need some direction. The brothers in the MC are beh9nd hm. What he was not ready to face was a sassy little hot head named Monet.

Monet has gotten herself in her own predicament. Offered freedom for turning in the nephew of the club Prez where she is currently working off debt--she jumps on it. She realized too late that she ordn't have the stomach to me quite that mean.

Together, the two of them may come out ahead. Their hearts start to get tangled. No one is more surprised about this than they are.

Lots of MC business in this one. Nothing for the faint of heart. Great addition to the Knights series.

Hero is a fast paced story full of steamy chemistry, broken characters and all of the mayhem that comes with an MC romance.

It is loosely based on the tales of Hercules, not that I would have known this if the author didn't mention it, but I did love her explanations at the end for how it all relates.

Godric is set to become president of the Seven Knights MC after completing 3 tasks set by his dad. He is chaos and rage all rolled up in an alluring, hard to resist package. Monet is just doing what she needs to get by in life when she is thrust into Godric's world. She is kindness and light in spite of her tough situation. I loved both of these characters, but as always with novellas I was left wanting more depth and just more of their story 😭

Hero is a standalone romance within a series of twisted MC fairytales by a whole bunch of talented authors and I'm excited to see what else is to come.

Hero is set in the VII Knights world. M.N. Forgy did an amazing job writing a gritty quick read that will leave you wanting more.
Godric is the current MC president's son. He is a haunted soul that has a darkness that surrounds him. There is nothing he won't do for the gavel, and we get to see just how twisted he gets to get it.
Monet is our strong-willed leading female character. She has been struggling as of late, and a rival MC president offers to clear her debt if she does a teeny tiny favor for them.
Their story is not an easy one, it is not sunshine and rainbows, BUT it will keep you ion the edge of your seat as you get pulled into their story. Prepare yourself for the dark ride you are about to embark.

With a wonderful, powerful Old English name, Godric strides onto the stage of this book in dramatic style. His world is thrown into turmoil, from which he grows into a deeper character, though still a haunted one. His violence is a challenge to both himself and others. Monet has been used and is struggling to find her footing in this world. She has strength and courage which make her a great partner to Godric, though their journey is neither straightforward, nor easy. A good, gritty read. 💖💖💖💖

Godric is preparing to become the President of the Knights MC after his father's death. He wakes up with blood on him and a dead body. He meets Monet as she is having to payoff someone else's debt. He is instantly attracted to her and she to him but she can't afford to get close to him. Monet is caught between two MC's. These two are pure fire together. Godric knows he has a dark side and it doesn't take much to bring it out. Just threaten the people he cares about and things get ugly. A good read.

This author is one of my favorite and I’ve literally loved everything I’ve read by her and this was no different she went dark and crazy with all the twists and turns and I’m here for it! Great read!

Wow! This was full on from the beginning but I knew something hinky had happened and that Hero was not guilty. But coming away from that experience left a darkness in Hero, one he was going to relish in until he was able to bring an end to those who had tried to take him down.
But everyone has a weakness, will his finally bring him to his knees or make him stronger?
Great read, can't wait for more!

It's ok

This book is ok but you know from the beginning and a comment at the end that he is going to be a cheater because what goes on in the club stays in the club. Also at the end with Tye he thinks I hate her why don't we get new girls. Blah so you already know it will happen eventually. That sucks because I like them together at the end. Didn't care for her in the beginning. She was going to let someone die for money she owes. But I liked her later.

He fucking insane and everything a book boyfriend should be. Possessive, an alpha asshole, and the President of an MC. The perfect combination of red flags. Monet is a head strong, badass heroine who is just trying to take care of herself. Utter perfection.

Any book by M. Forty is a good book, and I was not disappointed with this story. Goderick was a dark hero and while it was difficult to read Monet, they ended up being a good match. This was a short story but exciting nonetheless.

Hero is book 2 in the interconnected series of the VII Knights MC.  In this story we follow Godric, son of the MC President and he navigates his way to the gavel.  A tragic accident, with no memory of the events that took place, Godric is slowly letting his darkness take over.  Things that happened to him as a child, Godric was born in the inferno of blood and violence.  Things that would make the average person lose the contents of their stomach do not even phase him.  Desensitised to violence, and just having lost his President no puts Godric front and centre to take over.  He needs to prove his worth, complete a list of tasks and the gavel is his.  A sassy chick, with a fiery personality was not on his radar at all, but when she drops in his lap, the ripple effect she has on his life and his club puts more pressure on his shoulders.

Monet is sick and tired of being treated like dirt.  Having never been able to get out from under the thumb of the men in her life, Monet is desperate to do anything to earn her freedom.  Including putting herself in the path of the most dangerous and potentially craziest man she will ever meet.  It also doesn’t he that is totally smoulderingly hot and has an effect on Monet mind, body and soul that no other man has ever come close to.  Can she do it?  Can she betray him for a chance at freedom?  A life outside of anyone else’s influence.  To have a chance to prove to herself that she can survive on her own?

When you are backed into a corner the only way to come out is fighting.  Monet has a strong will to survive so she will fight her way out, but Godric is a roadblock that will be had to get around.  She is everything he never knew he wanted and Godric always takes what he wants.

Enjoy the second instalment of the VII Knights world.  It is dark, twisted and a little disturbed but you will love the characters that this world has produced.📖🖤

After I saw the list of authors for the Seven Knights MC series, I got excited for what was to come. Hero is the second installment for the second author, but can all be read as standalones. This was my first M.N Forgy book and I have to say, I'm intrigued. This story wasn't too long and was very fast-paced. We didn't get into too much detail, just full steam ahead. Still got a complete story that left me satisfied.

Hero starts off right in the middle of some craziness. Godric wakes up to blood on his hands a dead body. Shortly thereafter he is arrested. After spending some time away, he is out and trying to take care of his dad's last wishes in order for him to become the next Prez of his MC. In the midst of all this, he meets Monet who has gotten herself into quite a predicament. Theirs is a story of vengeance, desperation and maybe even a little bit of love.

This book is told in dual POV from both Godric and Monet. Godric seems to have a soft spot for those that he cares about, but he knows he has a switch that can be turned quickly and it can by deadly. He's pretty point blank. Monet is stuck paying off someone else's debt, but she still has a badass attitude to back up her strength. I liked that I felt that both of these characters had a backbone and wouldn't just give in to anything that easy. They both had spunk and could give as good as they got. With that said, I feel like the story was lacking some details. We don't get a lot of build up into the scenes, just action and right to the point. I wish I had gotten more so I could really feel who the characters were and their connection to one another but overall I was satisfied, I just wanted more so I could connect with the characters and their relationship.

Overall, this story was satisfying and gave me just enough. I just wanted more. 3.5 stars

Hero was my first read by M.N. Forgy. I've been looking forward to each book from The VII Knights MC series, and this one did not disappoint.

Godric & Monet will have you hooked; there's so much going on that you can't help but want to keep reading page after page to see what will happen. This enemies-to-lovers story was dark, intense, fast-paced, and steamy. Hero was full of action, suspense, secrets, betrayal, vengeance, and desire.

Godric is dark and dangerous. Life has thrown stuff at him, but nothing compares to waking up with no memories and his girlfriend dead by his side; after being in a mental hospital, he has now let his darkness take more over him, and the death of his father will leave him to take over his MC chapter.

Monet is strong-willed, and all she wants is freedom; she is now under Damian's thumb after being left alone by her ex with a debt that she needs to pay back to the Titans; it's Damien the one that will send Monet towards Godric's way to take him down, but things will take an unexpected turn.

Godric & Monet have an instant attraction, there is a lot of chemistry between them, and they are fire together, but there's also conflict with what they feel for the other because none have had the chance to feel like that before. Monet ends up being Godric's captive, yet she can't help but feel a pull towards him. Godric doesn't even know if he can trust Monet, but she brings things out of him he has never felt before for anyone. They don't have an easy and sweet journey, that's for sure, but they are the perfect match for the other.

I highly recommend this book if you are a fan of MC romance. I'm now looking forward to reading more from this author!

Hero was dark, twisted, intense and absolutely unputdownable! I haven’t read a mc romance quite like it. I was really surprised to find it was a Hercules retelling.
This new adult, enemies-to-lovers MC romance told the story of Godric and Monet. When the story opens, you’ll find Godric in a psychiatric hospital after being accused of killing his girlfriend. These chapters help us understand how his psyche works. If they make you uncomfortable, try to muddle through. While there, he realizes his mc is in trouble. When he finally gets them to let him go, it’s too late to save his father who was the current president. Although his rightful inheritance, he has to complete tasks that have him focused on family and brotherhood in order to get the president patch on his cut. He’s always been a little crazy but has always gone out of his way to be the hero. He meets Monet after saving her from an attack. He follows this by taking her captive. These two have amazing chemistry. They fall into a haze of lust and what might be love. While preoccupied, enemies seem to have surrounded him and he will raise hell and serve destruction and death to every single person involved.
The action, juicy twists, and heat kept me fully engaged and completely addicted. I loved all the characters. The plot was laid out in the perfect time table to be believable. I highly recommend this book to all mc lovers out there. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

Love this series. The VII Knights MC chapters are each being written by different authors. These MC books are loosely based on fairytales and the first two have been great reads if I do say so myself. Book 2, Hero, is based off of Hercules. It’s very well written and filled with dark moments, acts of revenge and the closeness of MC brotherhood.

Godric wakes one morning to find his girlfriend dead with no recollection of what happened. But from all outside appearances it looks like he killed her. In his heart he just doesn’t think he would ever intentionally hurt a woman yet in his brain he thinks he must have done it. So he’s arrested and ends up being sentenced to a mental facility. But is he really crazy? Did he really do it? Finding out will have to wait as when he’s released he learns of his father’s death and he has a club to run. Well that is once he takes care of some unfinished business he’s father has tasked him with.

Such a Great read and I can’t wait to see where the next author/MC Chapter takes us. If you haven’t grabbed book 1 by Esther Schmidt, Radge, I highly recommend grabbing up both it and Hero. You won’t be sorry you did.

Godric's story doesn't slowly reel you in, it starts with a chapter that is intense and shocking and sets the scene for the whole storyline. I like that the first few chapters centered entirely on Godrick you get to know the man behind the tragedy. There is a mystery that runs throughout the book with Godrick trying to find out the truth. Monte is a pawn in a dangerous game she doesn't really understand caught between two rival MC's.

I enjoyed the fast pace of the story and that it is told in dual POV's. We are given Godrick's backstory we see him try to make sense of all his conflicting thoughts and emptions which are at times chaotic and often violent. Monet is one of those deceptive characters who because of her circumstances at first glance appears weak but is strong willed and determined. Their love story wasn't insta love you can feel the chemistry and I liked the push and pull between them. I felt it finished a little too soon as I would have liked to see a bit further into their future lives , who knows we might see them again.
