This second part of the story of coulter and aster. But this one have too many childish things going on that I was annoyed but at the same time I was curious😛😛😛
Because of what happened in their first story, the hero decided to put the heroine away from him for couple of days and even weeks. And also there are scenes that I was so mad about and again their plan is weak and stupid. Not badass one and not strong enough. Why they make a suck plan idk but it sucks af😩😩 at least 4 me.
The hero played a game with the heroine and being foreplay with her for a while… but not too long because he loved her and wants her so badly…
“Would it always be like this? Pretending to hate each other? Would our stubbornness be our downfall?”
“It had been weeks, And every day he played these games, making me make myself come over and over.”
THE HERO IS OTT POSSESSIVE ALPHA MALE like i said from the first book. Many jealous scenes from the hero and little from the heroine…
“If you ever think about her lips again, I will cut off your d*ck.”
DON’T WORRY. THE HERO AND HEROINE NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE EVER WHEN THEY WERE NOT SEEING EACH OTHER. BOTH ARE LOYAL AND TO BUSY TO FIGHT FOR THEIR HAPPINESS.
“I haven’t touched anyone else.”
After that, The hero and heroine Became very involved together with their plans to take down the enemy and to make things right for them because they want to be happy in a happy place as a couple. The heroine is more stronger than before. Not so childish like in the beginning…
“If you were born into this world as a woman, then you’d know that every day is a battle.”
The hero is falling for the heroine even more than before and they’re become better. The hero doesn’t hide his feelings anymore.
“I’ve been scared this whole time. I’ve never loved a woman who didn’t also love my brother. But you, you came back for me.”
The hero did push the heroine away couple of times because he was scared of her and afraid to failed her. But she make sure she’s not going anywhere and she always going to fight his darkness and guide him.
“I’m afraid that my darkness will swallow your light.”
“Dios, your ego. You think you could swallow me? That your darkness is stronger than my ferocity to love you? That? Because of you, I wouldn’t be able to face the world with hope and courage? My light is a thousand times stronger than your darkness. I could swallow it whole in one gulp and have an eternity of happiness left over.”

‼️‼️‼️NO DRAMA WITH OW AND OM. The other drama is about themself couple of times and their enemies.
‼️‼️‼️HOT SMUT SCENES. Didn’t use protection. Didn’t talk about being clean which is suck.
‼️‼️‼️NO CHEATING AND NO SEPARATION. Well no separation at least permanently….
‼️‼️‼️It didn’t say how old the hero and heroine is.
‼️‼️‼️IT ENDS WITH A CLIFFHANGER. The author say that their HEA will be in the next book. Which is suck for me because i want it already lol. But both are already engaged!
‼️‼️‼️TRIGGER: drugs, cartel, killing, violence, kidnapping, tortured and sadness.
‼️‼️‼️WHAT I DON’T like about the book:
The hero already slept and have s*x with the heroine’s two sister before the heroine. The story line is so weak with their actions to fight the enemy, they didn’t come at a better plan and always one step behind the enemy. Not step ahead. The heroine’s plans are also weak and annoying and stupid. The hero is too weak to kill his father who is the true enemy, when there’s so many thousand chances he can do it but he’s too weak. It takes everything and in the end for him to finally do it after he says he wants to and after the situation is a must for the hero.
Despite the story line and characters being not my fave and not strong enough, I still read it because i want the hero and heroine to be happy and have their HEA.

Sorry, I just can’t get past the fact that Coulter has had sex with all three sisters professing to love each one of them at the time he is with them. I mean Jesus in the first book of book of this series he SHARES Rose with his brother and they had talked about how to move forward in a ménage. I just haven’t been able to get into this couple. Love Aster but hate Coulter. He had no sincerity for all four books. In my opinion this character has no depth and Aster got a raw deal ending up with him. I don’t even think it was revealed to her how “close” he is to her sister rose. These past two books just left a horrible after taste and a marvelous character like Aster got a disgustingly deficient husband. Author NEVER should have written that threesome scene with Coulter Bourbon and Rose and made it where Coulter was with all the sisters. At least lily is dead but Rose? Alive and Aster unaware…… Aster the character deserved better than her sisters leftovers. Will NOT finish series, it wasn’t good to begin with but that plot line killed it.

10+ Stars. I received an ARC but in no way does this effect my review. This series just gets better and better. Aster is the kind of character I enjoy. She is sassy, smart, not afraid to speak her mind and fights both physically and mentally for what she believes in. She has no filter and I loved her character. Coulter has had a hard tortured life and has finally taken control back. The fights he has had to endure from his own father was heartbreaking,but Aster helped pull him back together. 💘

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FEROCIOUS NIGHTMARE" Picking up where "CORRUPT PRINCE" left off so much happens danger, intrigue, suspense, angst, steam, secrets, twists that make for an addicting story.
Bourbon & Rose are rush off into hiding after what happened to keep them from harm from their evil ruthless father Nero.
Coulter has his hands full with the little feisty hellion Aster who betrayed him he thinks she'll marry him well he has another thing coming she going to be his worst nightmare.
Coulter has plans to rid himself of Nero once & for all with Asher's help he'll get the justice he's wanted for his mother & sister Lily finally.
I definitely recommend to get this series each book just gets better & better will Coulter & Aster get a HEA have to wait for next book to see how things turn out "SINFUL KNIGHT" can't come soon enough.

This was a super emotional and intense conclusion to Aster and Coulter's romance. We pick right up where the duet left off and Coulter is not a happy camper. It took a minute to like Coulter again because of how he was treating Aster after the events at the faux red wedding of Rose and Bourbon's. I was really happy with how Aster handled it though because all in all Coulter really needed someone to fight for him, to choose him and to not give up and she did all of that. This was pretty action packed as Aster and Coulter try to take on Nero. Some of the havoc that Aster wreaks is pretty funny. I'm assuming that with the way the book left off that we will get more in this universe and I'm excited for that and also curious to find out who will be featured.

I can’t emphasize enough how awesome this series is!!! You have to read it! The story of Coulter and Aster continue in this book. Bourbon and Rose have been spirited off to hiding so Nero can’t harm them after the shocking revelations from the last book (don’t want to give away secrets if someone reads out of order). Now that they are safely away Coulter decides to deal with his little nightmare for betraying him and also put his plot into motion to get rid of his father once and for all. Coulter wants justice for his mother and Lily. Things escalate quickly and Aster and Coulter decide to work together for a common goal when all hell breaks loose.

After reaching the end of Corrupt Prince i instantly started looking forward to this fourth installment. I picked it up and got right back into the Dark Throne world. I enjoyed this fourth book!
Aster and Coulter's journey continues! I really liked how i got back into their story and how i wasn't sure what all was going to happen in this installment. Once again i felt many things with these characters!
With Ferocious Nightmare, Ms.Mason has created a good read! I'm looking forward to the fifth installment, Sinful Knight!

I just knew after reading the start of this series that Ivy was going to take us all on one wild ride after another and boy was I correct in that. This picks up where Corrupt Prince left off. Coulter ugh this man is something else, but hold on he's met his match in Aster Rose's sister, which after reading this yeh she's perfect for him she'll keep him on his toes as these 2 take on his father. Oh man that reception scene was "Whoa" definitely didn't see that one coming. There's suspense, intrigue, mystery, danger, steam, angst grabs you from beginning up end. Oh my lord I can't wait to read what happens in the final book.

Oh my goodness she did it again this series just keeps getting better and better hands down one of my favorites from this series, Coulter and his "little" nightmares just make a emotionally thrilling rollercoaster storyline that is hands down so enjoyable. I love the tension, the sass and the darkness of this addition to one another of the two main characters, Coulter and Aster’s story is gripping.... I am already needing to get my hands on the next book in this series cause i need more Coulter and little nightmare and some more of big brother and sister in law

Finished the duet in a day.
I have to say I was keeping jumping back and forth between 3 stars and 4 stars during reading the final 25% of the duet.I really like FMC when she realized that she can take the initiative. She's fierce, and dared to put in action. However the book was like ended in hasty.Plus an unconvincing plot, I decided to rate 3 stars.
FMC is the true hero in this book.
