I loved this study! She breaks Revelation up by chapter and gives the historical context for each. What I appreciate the most is she understands that Revelation can be read in many different ways. The goal of this study is not to encourage you to read it in one particular way, but to educate the reader on all the ways it could be read and then have them do the digging in Scripture themselves. This isn’t a spoon-fed Bible study but a deep dive of Scripture. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this study! I did this with a good friend and it truly changed my whole perspective on Revelation. Revelation was always a book of the Bible I was genuinely scared to read. I didn’t understand it, and frankly “end times” freaks me out! My goal was to hopefully overcome this fear and I can confidently say God has used this study to do so. I now LOVE Revelation and truly see it not as a book about end times but a book on who God is and how graceful and merciful he truly is. I’m sure I’ll have moments in my life where I will come back to what I learned in this study and find God’s grace guiding me.

I especially love how this study was written because it does not tell you how to think or what to think. It simply guides you by using the Bible to understand the Bible.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this study!

I love Phylicia's methods of giving you options to consider and leading you to investigate on your own, rather than handing you opinions, interpretations, and conclusions. This study covered such a broad range of positions, more than most studies probably do, and I loved that! She doesn't tell you what to believe but simply presents the options and where they pull those interpretations from Scripture. I find her work incredibly equipping in my own study times and she has also become one of my favorite "online follows" for spiritual encouragement and challenge (especially in the areas of parenting and gracious disagreement with other believers).

This study on Revelation was super good! I appreciated that Phylicia didn't give answers - she asked questions about the passages, leading me to find the answers. This study method will be applicable as I study other books as well.

To summarize the study, and her beautiful writing style, "Jesus has asked you to prepare yourself, but not for an apocalypse. He’s asked you to prepare yourself for Him."

Isn't that timely, as we wrap up advent? ❤️

This was a great Bible study on revelation. This was the first study I did that Phylicia wrote and I really enjoyed the format.

This was hands down one of the best Bible studies I have ever done. It gave me a new appreciation for the hope that's found in Revelation. I highly recommend it!

Such a sound Bible study. I really enjoyed digging into the Word with this well-researched, well-written, question-driven study. Exceeded my expectations and helped me really understand the overarching themes of the hardest book in the Bible. I love this author!

I purchased this study soon after discovering Phylicia Masonheimer. I have studied the book of Revelation a couple of times before diving into this study and have always come at it from a pre-trib view. I decided to try this study after watching Masonheimer's reel on "3 Myths of the End Times". I wanted to take a look at the book of Revelation from another perspective. I was so pleasantly surprised at how Masonheimer primarily used Scripture to interpret Scripture and did not dogmatically present one particular view of Revelation. I was so blessed to see how the book of Genesis and promises and prophecies of the OT are woven throughout Revelation. I also loved to see the MERCY and GRACE of our God throughout the entire book. God is unloving? Revelation gives us example after example of how merciful He is to those who hate and defy Him.

I love how she defined four popular views of Revelation but didn't claim one to be better than another. Even after several studies through the book, I am still unsure where I stand. But one thing I do know is that there is a promise of blessing to all who read. I was definitely blessed each time I read this complex book.

One other takeaway was that for the first time in my Christian life I realized that we will see God's face. (Rev 22:4) We will see His face! The face that Moses couldn't behold--we will see Him as He is when all is made new.

I really enjoyed this study. It felt easy to choose your level of engagement. Not having a ton of experience with Revelation, I chose to not do a super deep-dive, as one could certainly spend some serious time chasing down all the cross-references and finding context in the OT stories it links to. I love that I gained some understanding but have plenty of room to go back and revisit and add more layers to that in the future. I thought the author did a good job of helping with a lot of the imagery but didn’t seem like she was trying to lead us too much.
I’d be interested to attempt this study with a group in the future.

I was raised with only one view of the end times, one that is fear-filled and troublesome. Not only did this study teach me about the other views, but it also helped me see the wonderful narrative of God's redemptive story that begins in Genesis and comes full circle in Revelation. I loved cross-referencing symbols and events in Revelation with passages throughout the whole Bible and seeing them all connected in a whole new way. I loved seeing the seal of God as His protection over His people for all time and seeing the Lamb as the conquering, righteous, and just King worthy of all glory and dominion. This study led me to humility, gratitude, and new hope. It is one I will reference often.

This is a great book to study Revelations book in the Bible and have the chance to meditate on the word for oneself. This is not a book for people who like to receive everything already condensed and ready to digest, it requires its own work. But it is indeed a beautiful work.

This is such a great Revelation study. I really wanted to understand connections between other books of the Bible, the timeline of Revelation, and different perspectives on end times. This study delivered! I feel much more knowledgeable and hopeful from having completed this. Thank you, Phylicia!

This was such a wonderful and encouraging study! Helped me both to better understand the book of Revelation and to see God's character and heart for His people throughout it. I've always been overwhelmed by the book but can now find hope in it.

I’m have never understood much of this book of the Bible. This study guide has taught me so much. While I still don’t comprehend all of its meaning. I’m definitely in a much better place. Especially with my faith which is the main point for me when studying the different books of the Bible.

I worked through several Revelation studies last semester for teaching prep. This one was solid, but not necessarily my favorite. A good one for building a foundational understanding of the book without sticking to a singular eschatological viewpoint.
