This delicious series I can't get enough of. Juliette lessons to become the dutiful wife to a dominate billionaire has turned her from a shy sassy heroine to a woman who owns her body and desires. Now she knows who her future husband is and how watering gorgeous, dominate and rich he is. All she can think about is Malcolm her Master that trained her. Although her rebellion has consequences she is determine to prove that Malcolm has feelings for her no matter how humiliating he makes her task. What will Juliette sacrifice in order to find out if her Master/Malcolm has feelings for her. Her future with Charles her arranged marriage, her father's respect or Jane's her friends happiness. Will she chose her life destiny or lust for her Master?

Whoa. This was intense and amazing. Nonstop hot scenes that were inventive and crazy good. I.COULD.NOT.PUT.THIS.DOWN.

Juliette is the crux of the story and I tried to figure out why I liked it and her so much. I was at a loss for words initially as to what made this story so appealing. It finally dawned on me. I get her. More than any other MC In recent memory. I identify with her drive to want to be the best and her desire to out perform and do it better than anyone. To be the best student. Top of the class. And if you can’t do it right the first time? Do it again- get that second chance and do it better. She behaves how I imagine I would like to behave with her commitment to conquer all the “training” she receives. Initiative- tenacity- perfection- adapting- not afraid to do what it takes to reach the end goal. This is her. Too bad she’s surrounded by misogynists and those who just want her to “learn her lessons” and shut up. I think she would always land on her feet- new obstacles just result in a new plan. The development of her character was also monumental in me liking her as was her ability to take her “punishment” just to prove her point. I loved her strength and her intellect.

Books 9 and 10 cannot come fast enough. Master is going to be the one to get taught his lessons in the last couple of books. Frankly, he doesn’t deserve her.

Like forbidden bite sized platter of erotica delicacies, Can't deny that this series is undoubtedly dirty and kinky and so much more where in we have taken this forbidden journey along with Juliette from innocence to a person who owns all her filthy desires.

But now everything is getting complicated as Juliette is not ready to let go of this feelings she feels towards Malcolm and also feels he does too.

But Master or Malcolm is an enigmatic man much like her future husband Charles. But Malcolm has a personality where he is unapologetically who he is, a person unattached to emotions and provides a service to his clients wherein he makes the women the most experienced and desired no matter his very unusual methods.

But now that Juliette is given an ultimatum and her husband all but ready to be together, she just can't let go of what she feels brews between her and Master.

Also.. Omg... The way hotter 🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🔥scenes.. I was like how does Juliette even handle all that. But she does and also likes it. Especially with her beloved master.

I can't wait to find out what happens next after that ending where things take a very unusual but hot turn. Loved this one. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m really hoping Juliette grows a backbone and tells her father where he can go with all his demands. She started to really find herself and step up how she feels about her Master but her pesky husband wants what he views as his property and Juliette being Juliette goes where’s she’s suppose to like a good girl and I’m hoping that will change ASAP!!

I really hated this book. All the men in this book are jerks: her father, Master, her husband-to-be. Even Juliette's only friend, Jane isn't really a good friend at all. I'm so mad right now I can't stand it.

Master Class is a series of short serial novels. I need to start off by saying that I’m not overly patient and this series novella format is really not my thing where each installment is about 100 pages and it takes about a year to release the full series I believe the author is planning on 10 short books and so far, the first 8 are released. To understand the story you need to read them in order:
#1 – OBEY
#2 – TEMPT
#3 – TAKE
#4 – SUBMIT
#5 – OFFER
#6 – PLAY
#7 – TRUST
#8 – BREAK

As a quick refresher: In book 1, we meet Juliette who has excelled in everything she has studied and is ready to embark on her arranged marriage, but she learns that her future husband who she has never met wants her to take one more series of classes before their wedding. In this book she meets the master who is to ensure she is trained to her future husbands’ specifications. In book 2, Juliette’s journey continues when she is painted by a famous artist. She continues to be challenged by the lesson she is to learn and when it is apparent she is failing, her Master has a lesson for her. In book 3, she is confronted with her v card and that it is not a prize her husband wants, but will she be able to learn the lesson he wants her to learn? Will she be able to keep her feelings for her Master out of the way? In book 4, she had a challenge she didn’t complete so she arranged a ‘make up’ task without consulting Master. Oops, that was the wrong thing to do! In book 5, we have an appearance by her husband to be! We also, meet Master’s brother which gives us some details about Master. In book 6, we have Juliette taking a vacation to a tropical island where her husband controls events rather than Master. In book 7 there is more of a love triangle vibe. Juliette is developing feelings for Master, but is torn by her obligation to her future husband. She starts a no-strings relationship with Master.

In book 8, we have things coming to a head. Juliette is going to have to chose pretty soon. Charles is getting impatient and Master does things to prove how little Juliette means to him.

Overall, I’m not a huge fan of these serials as I really want to read them faster than the author typically publishes them, but I am enjoying the lessons so far and I can’t wait to see what else she has to learn to be the perfect wife. Who really is Master? Who is her husband to be? So many questions!!! At least it looks like the rest of the books will be out by Jan 2022!

Oh wow these steamy little novellas are just getting better and better, I know I won't want them to end.

We can clearly see that Juliette is in love with Malcolm aka 'Master' and she will try with all her might to get him to admit he has feelings for her too. We know Malcolm can be cruel and when she's set up at a ball game he invites her to, he shows his true colours....or does he??? Malcolm really makes my head spin with his treatment of Juliette, one minute he wants nothing to do with her and the next he's treating her with such care you'd think he's in love with her.

So when her husband to be Charles gets impatient, and her father cutting her off she has no choice but to run to Charles and submit to him and his demands. Will she ever heal her broken heart and get over Malcolm? Will she fall in love with Charles and live her happy life as his submissive wife? Or has her lessons pushed her too far and she'll crack under the pressure?

Soooo many unanswered questions still but gosh these have been so good and this installment has possibly been my favourite so far, so much happens in this chapter and I want book 9 now lol

This series has been pretty even for me, but I find myself coming to dread the next installment, because this one played out almost exactly how I imagined it would, except there were some sloppy characterization choices made toward the end of the book that made me roll my eyes.

Yes, I’m heavily invested in the relationship between Malcolm/Master and Juliette. That’s why I’m still rating this above a 3. The tension and chemistry between them is undeniable and it’s hot. But there is some seriously willful ignorance going on here and that’s what’s making me lower my rating.

Also, I knew exactly what kind of man Juliette’s fiance was going to turn out to be. Sigh.

I do have to say that I did not enjoy the skybox scene one single bit. That didn’t affect the rating, because I could’ve just blanked it out, but I found it really distasteful and unsafe for Juliette. It made me lose respect for Malcolm as a character.

But I’ll continue on, because I want to see what happens. Don’t we all want to see what happens?

I don’t think I have ever wanted to strangle Malcolm as much as I did in this book. God! This book was a constant battle between his cold/indifferent heart and the feelings he’s harvesting for Juliette. I was in awe when Juliette finally meet Charles, and to acknowledge he’s a big competition for Malcom, and I mean of course he is, he paid for her to be his wife. I feel the overwhelming power Juliette has to manipulate Malcom in order for him to admit that he loves her, but he does not give in. He does unimaginable things to her in order to make her see she doesn’t mean anything to him, while she knows it’s all set up. And she as the badass she is, takes it all like a Queen 🙌🏻 and that makes him even angrier at her. Their war is never ending. Agh! And That last chapter from his POV was 🥵🔥.

Poor Juliette! Break: Lesson Eight, was quite the steamy, wild ride, not unlike previous episodes. Just when Juliette thought she had the upper hand, it was snatched away from her yet again by "Master". The constant push-and-pull, back-and-forth between Juliette and Master, with some Jane thrown in has created a big volcano just waiting to explode. What's a poor girl to do? If you're Juliette, apparently you just move on to where you were supposed to be going anyway > to your future husband. Although, something tells me that's not necessarily going to be the smooth road she's been spending all her time preparing for! And what of "Master"? What is he to do now without his precious Juliette? It's all very angsty and will be so exciting to read Master Class Book 9 so we can find out what the heck is going to happen here! Give me Book 9 ASAP, please!

Break by Raven Jayne is the Eighth Novella in her Master Class Series. This is a highly erotic, kinky, and intriguing view into a modern take on arranged marriage. Novellas are meant to be read in order. Ten lessons to be taught and learned. Each lesson is at the request of her future husband. Juliette’s family, heritage, and privileges all dictate to her holding up her end of the bargain that has been made.

Charles makes himself known. Juliette is thrown by her reaction to his physical appearance. Even though meeting him makes seeing their future together a reality, she asks for two weeks for herself.

She decides to push Malcolm for a confession about his feelings. Malcolm counters with actions to prove he has none.

And, for the first time we get to hear Master’s POV- at least for the last chapter….

This book in the series was my favorite by far. We see that Juliette is in Love with Master/Malcom but do we truly know how he is feeling. She does everything she can to provoke him into letter her see how he feels but it backfires on her. Things seem to be becoming strained between her Husband to be and her as she wants some time to figure things out. Her father has had enough of her games and give her an ultimatum. Lines are so blurred when are they going to become righted again. This book gives us so much more insight into the characters and pulls you into what is going on in there heads and things are becoming twisted. Can't wait for the next book to find out what is going to happen next.

Juliette is in love with Malcolm aka Master and she will try to get him to admit that he loves her too. However, he invites her to a ball game and it will soon show her his real color or is it? As Charles her husband is getting a bit impatient and her father treathning to cut her off, Juliette has little choice but to submit to Charlés demands. Will she ever get over her broken heart and can Charles get her to fall in love with her or has he gone too far with the tutoring? So many questions,that are still unanswered and so many feelings in the way. Another great chapter of this story that I volunteered to review.

The eight book is about Juliette and Master and their power struggle. She will do anything for Master. No matter how much he still insists that he feels nothing. Her father kicks her out. And when she can’t contact Master she turns to Charles. She has to choose survival. Will she learn to love Charles? Or is she broken?

Juliette’s story continues in this book and it just keeps getting better. As her feelings continue to grow so too does her courage to ask for what she wants. But, her father throws her a curve and she’s forced to up her game. Hopefully it ends well. Can’t wait to find out what happens next!

The tension really ramps up in the eighth novella of this ten-part series. It was really tough to power through it, to be honest. I found myself internally screaming at Juliette (e.g., “WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, crazy lady!,” “ENOUGH with this madness already,” etc) more than a time or two.




I can’t wait to get Malcolm’s POV in the ninth installment.
