I will admit I was confused by the title because I wasn’t thinking of ‘Medium’ the blogging website, I was thinking medium as in length. The description cleared this up quickly.

Despite my initial confusion I was not disappointed. This is a quick informational read which I will be returning again and again to because it helped my brain get unstuck.

A friend suggested I take my blog and turn it into a how to book, and I was unfortunately bogged down in the process because somehow my brain turned it into a complicated task. (I’m a fiction writer, its not like I don’t know how to publish things.)

Thanks to J. R. Heimbigner and his book Transform Your Medium Stories: A Complete Guide to Turning Your Online Content into Money-Making Books, my brain has been unstuck and de-baffled.

This is short, informational, and easy to read. Worth your time, especially if you’re a first time author who wants to take their writing from blog to book!

This is all I need!

This was just what I needed to read right now. I have nearly 500 articles and stories on Medium, and I have often thought about transforming my better-performing short stories into a book. But, I didn't even know how to start.
With these step-by-step instructions, I am confident I can do it on my own.
Plus,I just finished writing my novel on NaNoWriMo, so I am anxious to publish it after the rewrites and edits.
Thanks, Jack!

Excellent Advice For the Newbie Writer

Medium is a webpage where writers share ideas and promote their writing, however, even if you are not on Medium, if you have written material for a blog, you will find the information quite valuable on how to turn your information into a book.

Heimbigner also provides helpful links to other websites though one of the links no longer works.

Good, But…

There’s some good advice in this book, but it’s hard to take the author seriously - especially when he spends so much time talking about editing - when there are so many errors in it. Even a new, inexperienced editor would have caught them. A final read before you publish is crucial.
