那個夏天的蟬鳴比哪一年都聒噪，教室窗外枝椏瘋長，卻總也擋不住烈陽──

江添正是盛望的學霸後桌，總是一副冷酷不理人的樣子，但盛望初來乍到搶不到學校食堂時，江添會帶他去別處吃飯；當盛望被找麻煩時，江添會默默幫他找出原兇；盛望晚上自修追趕學習進度時，江添會幫他畫重點、陪他挑燈夜戰……
誰能想到，這才過了多久，江添居然成了望盛在附中關係最好的人。
也不對，用關係好形容其實不大準確。在其他更為私人的地方，在試卷和專題之外的生活中，同學和老師統統不存在，但江添在。
如果非要加個定義，那就只有「特別」了。
江添是他在附中認識的，最特別的一個人。
江鷗：「我不想再看到我兒子一個人拎著行李箱，住到別的地方去。」
江添：「這次不一樣。」
江添朝樓上某處掃了一眼，說：「不是一個人。」
──這次有人跟我一起了。

Quite slow on the start, this is the kind of book that will leave a small scratch in your heart. Mu Su Li truly is a great writer. She knows how to hook people in and leave them wanting more. We are still at the start of the story and have not gotten to even the romance, but you can feel the build-up for it.
With the book being adapted into a TV show, I wanted to give it another try as I remember having fond memories of it and boy I was not disappointed. Although it took me over a week to get into the very first chapters, now I am hooked and literally blew through the first book. One thing I still wish is for someone to pick up this book for an official English translation so I can get my hands on my own physical copy of it.

So far so sweet. I love the slow development of their friendship. While both personalities are not yet fleshed out, you can already see them as who they are. The teachers and classmates are funny and add dynamics to the story.
