The woman I am today isn’t the same woman I was when I started this book. Thank Lysa Terkeurst for helping me understand myself, how to read the Bible to understand it, and ultimately my relationship with God.
This was a long read for me. I just read a little each morning and my quiet time with God. I feel that it really helped to keep me focused and in a good direction and God always provided the message I needed for that day or even that week.
This was a hard one to read. I hate to speak ill of a Christian based book; but dang. Rarely did the verses she chose ever back up whatever points she was trying to get across. And she complained a lot about her life.
Read as a companion to my daily devotions. The first book (“Say Yes to God”) was quite good. It was very helpful to this specific season of life. The 2nd book (“Walk in Faith”) I feel was lacking.
This book changed my life!! I had another book in my cart and saw this one, and I traded it out. God knew what I needed right when I needed to hear it. Amazing amazing book!!!
So much to gleam from being pulled out of the Bible and put into perspective of how it pertains to our live as Women. I plan to read again with a group of women as a study/book club.
I really enjoyed reading this especially the Bible study after each chapter. I felt my walk with God got stronger and I had some light bulb moments as I went through the book.
I Want to Trust You, but I Don’t by Lysa Terkeurst ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Even though I’m not personally going through many of the issues she discussed, it was an excellent reminder of how to walk through the hard.
