I began reading romance novels in 2019 and became instantly hooked. I was inspired to write my own during the 2020 lockdown and first self-published on Wattpad. With the help of Instagram, I gained a loyal following and eventually secured a publishing contract with 4Horsemen Publications. I am a recent but enthusiastic follower of the Dallas Stars Ice Hockey team and in particular the delicious Tyler Seguin.
My Seattle Whalers hockey romance series has a loyal following on Instagram and I intend to keep writing about my crazy gang for as long as the readers want them.
I love an espresso martini, dirty-talking alpha heroes with tattoos and a lazy Sunday breakfast.

"Love like that comes around once in a lifetime."
I love sports romance, and especially hockey romance. So, I jumped at the chance to read this ARC from a new (to me) author. I love the friends to lovers trope, and I really enjoyed Emily's writing style. It won't be the last book of hers for me for sure!

We’re thrown in the middle of a story that comes from the previous book. Warren “Bugs” Parker and Cameron (Cam) are friends who have had a hot night together, and they’re trying to get past it with minimum damage. The problem? Bugs has feelings for Cam, and now that he’s had a taste, getting them under control is a bit harder.

"Daddy slipped one past the goalie."
When Cam accidentally becomes pregnant, Bugs’ feelings develop even further, for both her and the baby, and he steps up in absolutely every way. You can’t really ask for a better book boyfriend than Bugs.
This guy... He’s been halfway in love with her for a while, and he’s always been there. He’s such a great guy, all the interactions with his family and his teammates are pretty much incredible. He’s all heart (and brawn, and hotness, and muscles – sorry, freaking hockey players messing with my head).

"I need Cam to choose me with all her heart. I need to be her first choice, not someone she’s settling for."
However, I couldn’t relate to Cam at all, especially not when it comes to her relationship with Warren. Not only is she aware that he’s into her, but she seems to lead him on. She’s all hot, and then cold, and then unsure. When she gets pregnant, it gets even worse, and she turns into a completely insecure person with lots of unjustified body issues, and mistreats people around her.
I get that she has a past, but it still doesn’t excuse her behavior in my book, and she is the reason why this is only a 4 for me.

"I miss her, man. I miss her so fucking much I can’t breathe."
A string of bad decisions on her part ends up hurting Bugs, and my heart broke for him. It’s not fair in the slightest. He doesn’t deserve any of it. I really wanted him to just turn away from her and be done with her because I couldn’t see how she could ever reciprocate his feelings.
And... I needed her to grovel. Like, really grovel, apologize, and throw herself at his feet for all she’d put him through.

His teammates were cool and fun, and their team dynamics were on point. Can't wait to see what happens to each one of them. Her friends, not so much. They should have called her out on her bad decisions.

"Cam and I share a look, and I know for a fact that this woman holds my heart in her hands and always will."
The big gesture on her part sort of helped. Their kid immensely helped too, because it gave me that fuzzy feeling at the end with their HEA. However, it wasn’t enough for me. I’m just team Bugs all the way! Warren carries the whole book for me.

All She Needs is a sweet (and definitely steamy) read, that may be perfect for the friends-to-lovers and sports-romance readers out there.

Looking forward to the next book in the series!

After read the prologue Novella All Night Long I've been eagerly await All She Needs.
After sleeping together and months down the line find she's pregnant.
She's unsure whether to tell Bugs or not.
Cam comes from a painful past let down by men in her life.
She's cautious and wary over her friendship with Buggs now she's having a baby.
Buggs is a big teddy bear, tall, dark, handsome and gruffly he's all man.
He's had feelings for Cam for a long but.
A good plot and i loved Buggs and Cami and also how Emily tied all the other characters in from the other books.
A perfect sports trope.

fabulous

Love this series more and more as each book goes on. Cam and Bugs don’t do things in the traditional order and it takes them a while but they eventually get to where they should be. Can’t wait to catch up with the team in the next one.

What a couple Cam and Bugs are!
They not only have been blessed with a great plot by the author, they really conquered their place of honor both in my heart and in this super fantastic family of the Seattle Whalers, a place so incredible built by this amazing author that it always seems so real to me...at least I wish it was!
Their story, a friends to lovers journey, is so much more than two friends that simply fall in love with each others. This book will bring you to a rollercoaster of emotions where love, trust and friendship will have not only to win the big battle against all the doubts and the uncertainties of the human soul, but they will have also to prove to our main characters that these feelings are the strongest ones, the ones they can truly rely on and that they represent what both of them really need in their lives.
Bugs is everything a hero should be: loyal, strong, passionate, hot and, above all, he is head over heels in love with our heroine. He is the Captain of the Hockey team and he immediately became the captain of my heart too. I don't think there is a woman out there that could resist him and his manners. I fell in love with him like at pag.3 and there was never a moment during this book in which I felt disconnected with him. He is perfect, always doing or saying the perfect thing and I couldn't love him more.
Cam is also smart, super sweet, a lovely friend all of us would love to have and she is also beautiful and sexy as hell. She has, though, a delicate and insecure soul and sometimes it was heartbreaking reading of her navigating alone this life. She has been alone in this world since she was barely eighteen and she had to quickly learn how to take care of herself. To my eyes, her uncertainties made her character even more realistic because I think that all of us, under the same pressure of her, would end up having the same doubts or doing the same things Cam did. The perfect style of the author made me connect with her to a level that I felt very protective and understanding of this delicate but-at-the-same-time strong woman to whom all of us can easily be able to identify with. Cam, I'm with you, com'on girl, you deserve to be happy!
The story is really engaging and I found myself totally immerse in it since the very beginning of the book, turning the pages so fast that I didn't want to put it down till the moment I saw the 'happy ending' for this fantastic couple.
What I've really appreciated of this author so far is that, in her books, she doesn't take the easy and predictable way of bringing other men or women in the story to build the angst, but she navigates the complexity of human behaviors, their minds and souls. In her beautiful, and sometimes difficult, stories her characters always reach the bottom of their problems to be able to resurface and start then a brand-new life. This is life, hence this is what makes her stories realistic and solid. And this is also why they deserve 5 stars!
I was expecting this story since the very first book and I'm absolutely satisfied and happy with the results. Thanks Emily!
This whole series is a blast, I truly recommend it and now I can't wait for the next journey: I want to read Lana's story now!!!
I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review.

Thank you to Emily Bunney for allowing me to read a copy of this book. I want to start this review off by saying that I usually DESPISE the pregnancy trope. However, I really enjoyed my read of this. Yes, it was a result of a one night stand and unplanned. However, it was done well with Bugs and Cam's relationship and how they dealt with it over the course of this book. And Cam is a trooper and Bugs is so sweet and smitten as a kitten for Cam. I loved this book so much.

I’ve loved the other books in the series and I couldn’t wait for Bugs and Cam. I loved these two and their friendship in the previous books. The night they spent together in All Night Long was STEAMY and HOT. And I was so excited to get an ARC of this book.

This book picks up where All Night Long Ends. After their steamy night together, where they cross the line in their friendship, Bugs and Cam try to go back to how they were before. The problem is neither of them can seem to move back there.

Warren, or Bugs to all his friends, has been deeply in love with Cam since they met, but she put him in the friendzone. He was willing to take what he could get with her until she came onto him at their friend’s party. Now things are a messed up and no matter how hard they try they can’t seem to get back to how things were.

Cam has a lot of trust issues and has spent most of her life relying on herself to get by. Her friendship with Warren is the only constant thing that she can rely on. She doesn’t want to mess it up with a relationship that will most likely fail.

Things get complicated when Cam finds out she’s pregnant and the dad is Warren. When Cam finally gets the courage to tell him, he’s more than willing to step up and be that strong support system that she’s needed all her life. But Cam doesn’t believe that Bugs wants her because he loves her. She feels he’s with her because she’s pregnant.

Bugs is such an amazing guy. He’s the perfect book boyfriend and you can’t help but swoon over him. He’s caring and supportive and the perfect match for Cam, but she can’t let go of her insecurities and ends up hurting him.

I’ll be honest I was a little surprised at how Cam’s character turned out in this book. In previous books she’s portrayed as a strong, independent, funny person that her friends could rely on because she’s the one that makes a plan when shit hits the fan. She works for the GM of the hockey team after all. In this book, however, she was really kind of a mess. I understand pregnancy hormones make you do crazy stuff, since I’m expecting myself, but hers were a little over the top. She was really hot and cold with Warren and he deserved a lot better especially after how he stood by her side through a lot of her meltdowns.

The book was really well written. I’m invested in the couples from the previous books as well as the rest of the hockey team and this book is full of them which makes it really enjoyable. I didn’t hate Cam I was just disappointed she came off different in her own book than how she was portrayed in the previous books. It didn’t play out how I expected it too but it wasn’t bad.

There was something that was quite distracting for me. The author used a lot of words that we don’t use here in the states that were really confusing for me to read. Especially since the team is based in Seattle. It was kind of funny when Warren would use a term that’s not something we say here in the states and then complain about Trixie and how he couldn’t understand her. It did take me away from the story a little. This was the first book where I felt it was overused. In the previous books it was easily overlooked because it wasn’t often.

Other than that, and how Cam came across in this book, All She Needs was good. I will be recommending this book to anyone that has read the series or likes hockey romance and I’ll defiantly be reading the next book in the series especially because it’s Thor’s!

WOW WOW WOW! I loooooved this book! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!

This was my first Emily Bunney book and Wowsers did I enjoy it! I am now desperate to go back and read the ones that came before this in the series! It didn’t stop my complete enjoyment of the story or make the story confusing at all, I just want more of the Whalers!

Emily’s writing style is brilliant. The pace of the book was just right and kept me interested and pulling an all nighter (soooo worth it!) so I could finish.

Warren ‘Bugs’ Parker.. WOW 🔥🔥🔥 He’s been added to my book boyfriend list for sure! He’s the perfect mix of alpha male and absolute sweetheart! He’s the very delicious captain of the team and I’m head over heels in love with him ♥️

Cameron Sawyer. She’s a strong, independent gal who has relied solely on herself for all of her adult life. I love how strong she is and I loved seeing her grow and becoming who she needs to. Love her ♥️

I felt so much reading this. I laughed, cried (especially at the end!) and just thoroughly enjoyed myself. The chemistry between the two of them was OFF THE CHARTS! 🔥🔥🔥 Oooof! He’s a dirty talking hockey player - YUM!

(I haven’t given away any spoilers as I’ve seen some reviews giving them away 😡)

If you like sports romance series you will LOVE THIS!

I loved all the characters, the whole gang is great and I can’t WAIT to learn more about them.. I’m super curious about Thor.

This is one of my top reads of 2021. It’s truly brilliant. I adored it.♥️

Thank you Emily 🙏🏻📚♥️

Cameron Sawyer feels the need to be extremely organized and in control of every situation. So when she finds herself pregnant after a super hot one night stand with her best friend, she feels both confused and afraid. Cam loves her job, and nowhere was having a baby part of her plan. To complicate matters, the father happens to be extremely high profile - the captain of the Seattle Whalers, in fact.

Warren “Bugs” Parker is the most dependable guy around. He’s a great guy and an incredible captain, and nothing seems to phase him - well, nothing except Cameron Sawyer. Warren has had feelings for his best friend for years, and has finally dared to hope after the phenomenal night they shared. But when those little pink lines appear, Warren becomes determined to win Cam’s heart.

Okay, so you know I love a good hockey romance, and this one did not disappoint!!! Cam, she’s going through so much. She’s suddenly got this huge life altering bomb dropped on her, and I can completely understand why she’s reeling. As for Warren, this man is trying so hard. He’s trying to be there for Cam while coming to terms with the fact that he’s going to be a father, and he handles the whole situation incredibly gracefully.

Cam and Warren together make a lovely couple, even when Cam was fiercely denying her feelings/struggling with self doubt. I have so much love for these two, and I can’t wait to see what happens next in the world of the Seattle Whalers!!!

Nothing worse then feeling alone and scared when the one person you’ve always had was your mom. Well that’s how Cam feels and her friendship with the Captain is the most important thing to her so why mess things up! That is until a one night stand leaves Cam pregnant and alone or so she thinks.
Bug to his close friends, Cap to the hockey team and Warren to his family. Bugs has loved Cam from day one in his own way, as their friendship get stronger he falls in love for all the right reason but does he want to screw things up with Cam! No! If friendship is all he gets then so be it. Until that one night where Cam get horny hot and wan Warren. That’s the night that begins the story got these two lovebirds.
There’s so much passion love sex and good old friendships that you do not want to miss. Emily does a fantastic job with this hockey series, you just can’t take your time reading these book unless real life interrupts you 😂.
You really have to read this series it’s well written and you’ll love all the characters in each book.

I loved the continuation of Cam and Bugs’ story! Their relationship is a hard one, full of doubts and fears. Poor Bugs has been in love with Cam for years, but she’s always been closed off to any sort of relationship.

When Cam caved in the previous novella, they had the hottest night of their lives. But that night leads to some long term complications, one that leads Cam to consider an actual relationship with Bugs.

All goes well as they are secluded in the woods in Canada, until outside criticism brings up all the fears. Poor Cam had suffered so much in her life, and she struggles with allowing herself happiness. Her growth to move past her fears and be comfortable in herself is hard fought, and lots of feelings get hurt in the process.

These two can’t seem to stay away from the other. The steam wafts between these two anytime they are in the same room. When they aren’t fighting their attraction, they can’t keep their hands off each other. Bugs has been living his fantasies once Cam accepts this, and she is slowly falling for him 💯.

Story 📖: 4/5
Heat 🔥: 4/5

Cam and Warren are a couple whose story I have been looking forward to since the very first book in the series. After reading the novella All Night Long, I was curious how everything would play out for them. What starts out as just one night together gets a lot more complicated when Cam finds out she's pregnant. They have lots of chemistry, but can that translate into a relationship?

Warren is one of my favorite characters in the series. He is a good guy who has had a crush on Cam for forever and wants to step up and be there for her and the baby. Cam, however, was a bit of a frustrating character sometimes. I didn't always like how she treated Warren and some of the decisions she makes.

This story was a quick, fun read, especially with hockey season starting up again. It fits well into the series and I liked getting to see characters from other books pop up.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.

Cam and Bugs! What else is there to say?

Bugs has had feelings for Cam since they met but she firmly put him in the friend zone and he was willing to take what he could get - until Cam made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. And no matter how hard they tried things just weren’t the same - but after a little surprise maybe they could be better!

When Cam tells Warren he’s going to be a dad he is more than willing to step up for both Cam and his child. The only question is will Cam believe Warren loves her not because of the baby but in spite of it or will she let her insecurities about love, life and men ruin their relationship?

Bugs is such a great guy and Cam definitely gives him a run for his money! Will they get their happily ever after or will they need to find a way to co-parent only?

I’m loving the Whalers series and can’t wait for the next book!

I love this series so much, every book is so special to me. I feel like reading anything in this series is another chance to catch up with friends. AND I LOVE IT!

This is Bugs and Cams story and I enjoyed it so much. I could swoon and gush about Bugs all day long. He is the sweetest gentleman ever known but my god he has a dirty mouth. His and Cam's story has been brewing since book one. Thier friendship and chemistry is so special. Bugs will literally do anything to please Cam.

Cam can be a difficult character to understand. There are times where I just wanted to shake her and scream BUGS IS BLOODY PERFECT!!! JUST BE WITH HIM. but I loved the journey these two characters went on together.

Oh and spoiler alert, Daddy Parker 🔥🔥

I love everything this author writes and can not wait to get book 4

Friends to lovers and surprise pregnancy are my favorite tropes so I know I was bound to love this story and that is exactly what happened... I fell in love with Cam and Bugs!

All She Needs was 100% my favorite surprise pregnancy/friends to lovers story I have read this far. Cam and Bugs have that once in a lifetime friendship that everyone ones, and the fact that they found it and were able to maintain it through everything was so heartwarming. The flow and development in this story was relatable and expected. I love the emotion portrayed and the emotion that it elicited from me the reader. It took me on a beautiful journey and the HEA was the one of the sweetest I've experienced this year.

The grand gesture at the end was amazing.

Amazing, amazing job Emily!

Loved getting the rest of Cam & Bugs story! Warren (Bugs) was amazing!! He was everything you want in a book boyfriend. He truly loved Cam and you never questioned that love. She definitely made it hard for him, she had issues that stemmed from long before they met and unfortunately he had to battle some of those for her. Of course theres some drama, slight spoiler alert...

but it was more of Bugs finally standing his ground, putting himself out there & forcing Cam to make decisions. I really liked that it wasn’t your usual OW drama in a sports romance. Love this series & can’t wait for the next book!

I loved Bugs and Cam’s story so much 😍 I think it’s my favourite in the series so far and there’s some stiff competition with Matt & Mila and Nate and Beth.

Bugs is the Whalers captain and Cam is the GM’s assistant and they’ve been best friends for years but after a one night stand Cam finds herself pregnant and unsure what she wants. Bugs has always held a torch for Cam and wants to make it work but Cam isn’t as sure.

I’m a sucker for a hot dad MC and a surprise pregnancy is actually one of my fave tropes. Bugs is a great guy who people trust and he spends the book proving his love for Cam which was just 🥰❤️

Cam and Bugs story was not an easy one, they had a lot to overcome to get their happy ending. Cam is hyper organized and wants her life to always be that way, while Buggs is so sweet and wants her to know how much he cares while he respects her wishes. Their friendship is special and they both do not want to ruin it. Their friends definitely add to the plot, but the girls were amazing. I enjoyed how they supported Cam but also truly helped her open up/go for it. Overall, the characters are well developed, you definitely feel all of their emotions. I highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy hockey romances.

The Whalers are back... this time with a new, tiny addition. We begin after Bugs and Cam's steamy escapades from All Night Long, and the repercussions of that night soon come to a head and Cam struggles to come to terms with everything. Bugs remains his steadfast, dependable self helping them both navigate through unfamiliar territory, and as always love conquers all. Cam and Bugs get their perfect HEA. There's plenty of cameos from the Whalers crew plus their significant others who we’ve already fallen in love with, and it's so great to revisit them. There's a cheeky excerpt for Book Five and I, for one, can't wait to read it.

This is the continuation to Bugs and Cam's story. I have been waiting for this one since I started the series. Bugs has been in love with Cam but since they've had known each other they have been friends. Then one night things changed and they hooked up. Well that resulted into a pregnancy. Bugs sees his chance to finally get the woman of his dreams but Cam is so use to be left she's afraid to put her heart on the line. I enjoyed this story. Love the storyline and the return of all the characters. Can't wait to read Thor's story next.

I’ve been so excited for this book! I may have read it in 3 hours, and its 3 am here. It’s totally fine, right? Cam is self-sufficient and always has been. She had one hot night with her best friend, and her entire life changes.

Watching Cam and Bugs flounder, find , and accept their love was so fun. I may have cried twice, and it does show how much words can hurt when people mettle and think they have good intentions. Cam and Bugs have been dancing around their attraction forever, I loved seeing their HEA.

Sequenced as book #4, All She Needs is the story of the 3rd couple in the Seattle Whalers world. It stands alone with minimal knowledge needed of the previous books, however reading everything in order will make the experience so much richer, the HEA more valuable and the relationship payoff well earned.

Emily Bunney has built a fantastic continuity in this universe and I am torn since I'm lucky enough to be along for the ride from Book 1, but also, I just want to be able to binge and roll from book to book because I'm getting so invested in these characters. All She Needs focuses on the transition from Friends to Lovers for Cameron (Cam) and Warren (Bugs) who have been part of the world since book 1. Seeing them in the background of other couple's HEA has made me yearn for their happiness once they flip the switch.

We learn that Warren has wanted Cam since practically day one, but was happy to be friends because that is what she needed. But after a fantastic night together (see book #3 the novella All Night Long for that steamy tale) he doesn't really want to go back, but how can he prove to her that they are meant to be more than just friends?

Cam has history and baggage that make her keep her heart behind walls. She wants Warren so much but doesn't want to lose the easy friendship they have built. She can't stand the thought of being without him in her life and because of her fears, her baggage, she is always focused on what will happen when the passion fades and they go their separate ways.

Add into the mix a playoff run and a bout of inconsistent stomach flu that turns out to be a baby that neither one of them expected, but both of them are fully committed to.

I am a sucker for Friends to Lovers. I love when the couple finally see each other in that way and they embrace the idea of MORE, however it also makes for some heart wrenching moments when they happen to get in their own way. This book had some beautiful moments when I wanted to slap the characters upside the head so they would get out of the way of their own happiness, but since they are fictional and I don't want to break my phone, I can't do it. I could only wait and read on waiting to see how they come back together and live Happily Ever After. This one got me in the feels and made me emotional.

I can't wait to see what comes next in this beautiful hockey world.

I received an advance copy for honest review.

I have waited for Bugs and Cam’s story since the very beginning and I was not disappointed in the least! This is such a great story of personal growth, opening your heart, and learning to move on from the hurts if the past.

Cam, Bugs, and the rest of the Whalers family provide a light and at times laugh out loud experience that readers will enjoy!

Cam and Warren aka 'Bugs' are best friends but for Bugs he's always wanted more so when a passionate night together leaves them expecting a baby where will it lead them.
Is this finally their time or will Cam continue acting hot and cold towards Bugs and leave him second guessing their relationship.

A great full length novel from Emily Bunney and I cannot wait to read more.

Bugs and Cam’s story has been steadily simmering in the background for a bit. They are best friends but a lax moment where they give into their desires results in a pregnancy no one expected.

I love Bugs and have from the beginning. He’s strong, dependable and has a big heart. Cam on the other hand had me mad at her at times. Her stubbornness and seemingly selfishness almost tanked their HEA. Yea hormones can make you crazy but in her case it wasn’t endearing at times.

Okay, wow.

In book number 3 of the Seattle Whalers, best friends, ‘Bugs’ and Cam had a one night stand. Bugs, the captain of the team, has had feelings for Cam for a while, and wants to continue where they left off. Cam, the super organized assistant to the GM, wants to go on as though nothing happened.
In book number 4, Fate has other plans, as Cam realizes she’s pregnant. Neither are ready to admit their feelings, let alone for parenthood.
Another enjoyable tale in the Seattle Whaler’s series, including all of the characters I’ve come to know and love.
