Jamie the Germ Slayer in a Place Called Little While
Jamie doesn't like the changes taking place. Worried parents, school at home, and not seeing the Nanas is so alien that it seems almost like a different world. Mama weaves a story about a place called Little While, where Jamie becomes a germ-fighting super hero.
Jamie the Germ Slayer in a Place Called Little While helps kids process their new reality, and offers reminders about keeping safe and fighting the pandemic, together.

The first thing that gets your attention is the AMAZING illustration. It is bright, cheerful, and very inclusive. I love how explaining what is happening is made into a parent telling a story of the super hero and explaining that in terms the child will understand, all children love the super hero scenario. It allows a kind of Q&A in the story, making sure that everything we have to do is helping others. This really is the best one I have seen. I bought one to check it out and will be buying my nephew and nieces one and recommending it to others. Great job to the author and illustrator.
