This is not a worthwhile investment. Even if you indulge yourself in it, it's not worth it.

It was a train wreck that was never able to stay on track. I found this book to be very disturbing and completely ridiculous.

The plot is mediocre and the characters are unlikeable.

To describe it in broad strokes would take all of next year to elaborate on all of the absurdities of this book. It is simply not in my nature to do so.

It is infuriating to read a book that had a plausible premise but quickly descended into a big waste of time.

What was the Author thinking?

Human trafficking anyone? Take away the wealth and the good looks and what fo you have? Strangers abducting, physically, sexually and mentally hurting the heroine. Could not finish book.

Dark Obsession

This is darker than dark romance, be warned if you have triggered issues…
Casey is one strong woman, imagine been kidnapped and obsessed not by one brother but two and not at the same time!? And they each claimed her as their own. The closeness Ben and Jakob once shared got breached, all because of their obsession over Casey.
She will endured a lot through their hands and even their psychotic mother. Found out what followed …

Great read!

I really liked this author The Game. This was vastly different and straight disturbing. I'm still trying to figure out how they claimed to love her after everything they and their mother put Casey through. The cavalier way that "mental health" is handled in this book was ridiculous. These manchilds and their mother needed serious therapy and reprogramming.

Crazy mess,

Insanity at its best. Who in their right mind would do this! I scrolled through most of the book because it was so insane. I thought the first book, Wanted, was crazy but at least they got through. This book is total madness- not believable at all!

MY OH MY!!!

This continuation of Noah's cousins from the previous book Want is definitely a page turner. The dynamic duo of the Braun brothers Jakob and Ben have set their sights on Casey and it definitely has a price that seems to be only be paid by Casey. Poor Casey probably wishes she never took that extra shift at work cause now she won't get a moment of peace since Jakob has entered it. Jakob and Ben were to busy fighting each other they didn't see the other enemy that came in and took their obsession away. This story was a definite intriguing read, just when you thought the last book with Noah and Sunny was interesting, you'll have to rethink that after reading this one. Casey is a definite fighter and a strong character, which she'll have to call on that strength in more than several occasions throughout the story. At first glance the Braun brothers are just rich entitled alpha douches but there's so much more to them you can ever imagine. If you love dark captive stories with a happy ending you'll definitely have to give this story a try. Highly recommend!!! So very much looking forward to seeing what story we'll get next from this author.

Missed the Mark

*****Spoilers*****

I thought the idea was different and Jakob, Ben, and Casey had a lot going on in their lives outside of one another. It was deep in that sense which is good. I just couldn't understand Casey or the brothers, particularly initially. I kept wondering why Casey seemed so chill in the face of being kidnapped and transported to Russia against her will. She was upset here and there but I'd have expected more desperation throughout I think. Jakob and Ben had something of a rivalry and fought over Casey before coming to the conclusion that they'd do best to share. There was lots of wall building most times for good reason only to watch as that wall is then toppled by a toothpick kind of thing. It didn't feel real in that sense and Ben and Jakob were creepy strange in the beginning.

There were grammatical and punctuation errors, the latter being more surprising since I haven't experienced it much in other books while this one was riddled with them. A few inconsistencies in here, I know at one point Casey was spelled Cassie.

Crazy Kind of Love ❤️

Casey was kidnapped and taken to Germany by a stranger! He, Jakob Braun wouldn’t let her out of his bed. When his younger brother, Ben, saw her he kidnapped her and did the same thing. Was it possible that the two brothers could fall in love with the same woman? Their childhood background rendered them powerless to feel capable of true love, so they indulged and lavished Casey the best way they felt possible. Despite their horrible past, after surviving a plane crash and living on a deserted island, going to therapy, the brothers and Casey conclude that they love each other and baby Elias!

Yes!!!!!

I rarely write reviews. But please don’t let the other reviews changed your mind from reading this story. Please remember it’s a fictional story.

This book is about abuse and pain. And how sometimes your traumatic past can alter your future. But I enjoyed how eventually Jacob and Ben worked through their trauma to love and appreciate Casey.

An excellent Storyline!!!!

Guilty Pleasure

I liked this book, don't let the three star rating fool you. It is a guilty pleasure because, in real life, there would be restraining orders galore. But there was a lot to like, the emotions between the characters was tense and over-the-top, just how I like a good romance that hovers on the dark side.

The only thing that really bugged me was the author's tendancy for, and reliance on, flashbacks. They were everywhere and always in italics. It got to the point I was skipping past everthing written italics, and then going back if I felt I missed anything pertinant.

It gave the story a chopped up, non linear feel. I will continue to read her books, so far I have liked Ms. Evans stories, even with the flashbacks.

I wanted to like this book, but…

The author held back!

SYNOPSIS:
I hate the wig on the cover, yet it tells the complete story. Homegirl wore her hardest wig to work and was whisked away by a billionaire. 🤣 The crash into crazy went from 0-100 really quickly, which I enjoyed, but things went way too over the top! It got so trope-filled that the dark elements became Pollyanna and the redemption HEA ruined the fun. I hated the feel good transformation even more than I hated her fugly funeral bouquet of carnations and calla lilies that were given as a romantic gift. I did know. I was hoping they were heading to the dumpster to bury that struggle wig, but alas, unlike their love, it was not meant to be. I believe she is wearing that struggle wig to this day!

Awful

Usually when I read a book I dislike I just do not leave a review but since I really disliked this book I thought I would share my thoughts. The storyline was silly and at times very immature. Two brothers falls for the same girl and mentally and physically abuse her throughout the whole book only for it to have a happy ending...she loves them.
As a black woman this book makes me question the author's train of thoughts why would you write a book stripping the character of all her dignity only the slap a bow on it at the end? I will not recommend this book or read anything by this author again.

This story was challenging

This story is full of kidnapping, rape and physical abuse. With that being said mental illness plays a big part in why the Braun brother’s sense of entitlement was so strong. I kept wondering how the author was going to make that turn to HEA. I think she did a good job showing the changes all parties went through to get to that HEA. In the last book Sunny and Noah had history but Casey and the Braun brothers did not yet they were broken people looking for the same thing and finally getting there. I normally don’t like reverse harems but this was too well written to resist.

Pure madness, this book treated mental health like a complete joke. There is a difference between an anti- hero and a villain the author clearly failed to understand the distinction. There is no amount of suspension of belief that would make this book good. Both brothers needed to be lobotomised for the sake of public health. If I’m honest it seemed to me that the way Casey character was written she would not had forgiven them had it not been for the author wanting a HEA involving them getting back together. The book was a complete s*** show.

Whoa Baby!

I'm so conflicted by this book. Disgusted and angry with our protagonists. But, I believe everyone can change and forgiveness is key, for ourselves and others. There is a definitive line between sexy possessive and abusiveness. But in the end, I always root for my anti-heros. Heck, one of my favorite DC Comics relationships is Joker and Harleen. So, yeah this was a rough one initially because it had some triggers for me, but the ending is so powerful.

Dark yet strong feelings

I got to say this book threw me for a loop! At first it started out interesting and then it turned violent and then it turns just what the heck is going on?! I love the characters and I love how much the emphasis for spoiler alert mental health was pushed into this book. You don't see that nothing dark romance novels. I hope to read more from this author.

Inventive story

This story entwines menage, bwwm , trapped on a deserted island which is always fun and welcomed, but the authors delves in a bit on the ravages of how untreated mental health problems affect a family. She does in such a way that I wish she spent a fee more pages exploring it more enjoyed the insight and the depth in brought to the story. Looking for more from this author.

It was good but…

There was a lot that happened in this book. That being said some if it didn’t seem to loop back in to the main plot of the story,or help it move along. Ben and Jakob were initially very difficult to like. I think it was about halfway through the book before I truly began to like them, and want them to succeed in their relationship with Casey. There was a lot telling instead of showing throughout the book. I really enjoyed the ending!

read with an open mind

This book will have you thinking it’s wrong but as you read you’ll think it’s right. The storyline is super interesting it grabs your attention and keeps you reading. The characters are well developed and well detailed you learned so much about their past and the present. I think the author did a great job capturing the overall concept of this entire story.

Don't

If you want PTSD or some sick fetish of a woman being raped and broken repeatedly then this is your book. These characters don't show any love to each other. The abuse is so horrible there is no way it would turn into romance!!! This actually is a sick twisted book and I think the author is using it as therapy!!! I suggest the author gets therapy!!!! This book is wrong on so many levels!!

A True Dark Romance- Not the The Typical Fairytale

Want (Book 1) & Wanted Most (Book 2) by Shae Evans are true VERY dark romances. Don't expect the typical fairytale or you will be disappointed. The book has triggers, and has mental health issues at its core. These two 📚are for adventurous readers who love dark romance & are not phased by darker tropes😎Enjoy the walk on the dark side🍷😘.

A rough read

This one was rough and it kinda ends on a cliffhanger. I wish the author would have given closure with the parents. Who's the father. Did their father ever recover. Who was the guy in the park. I actually liked this book. I didn't really care for the forced after the fact consent and the abuse but I did enjoy the two brothers fighting over the girl. Even though this was kinda a rough read I still liked it.

Wow.

This book is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Fear, hate , sorrow and love. The main characters make you feel all of that and more. I first read the author on Wattpad and I fell in love with her stories there. I am so glad She decided to publish them. I can't wait to see what She will publish next.

This is not a story for the faint hearted . It’s messy painful and complicated. Casey ,Jakob And Ben are a Gorgons knot of emotions. I wanted to Lorena Bobbit some folks myself while reading this . The author is gonna take you on a roller coaster of a ride . I have added her to my list of must reads . 👍🏾

Unconventional Love

Though this was not a traditional love story but very humorous, conflicting love, and the alpha males were a part of a history involving family mental illnesses. Yet! It was a compassionate love story. I was truly affected by this story and the authors' ability to tell it so very well.

Enjoyable read

This book took me longer than necessary to read because of the poor grammar. You need to get a better proof reader. However I loved the story line. But hated the ending. Not knowing who the father is, is frustrating. Would recommend this book but just be mindful of the poor grammar.

Good book

I enjoyed this book as well but the proofreading is not good as in the previous book. I did like the story though and seeing Noah and Sunny again. Jakob, Ben and Casey were a good fit after everything they endured they were able to find and keep their love. I love this throuple.

Mental illness is being addressed and it’s making a huge difference…

Learning how to communicate as opposed to taking is growth…

Having unlimited resources and working havoc is unacceptable…

Growing up in an environment where love is questioned is detrimental…

Jakob, Ben, & Casey have similar backgrounds of abandonment…

Can what Jakob and Ben be forgiven…
