Along with learning about some of San Antonio's most haunted places, middle grade readers will also be reading about some of the history of San Antonio as well, and a little learning never hurt anyone, right?

A delightful read!

As a Texan and history buff, I always enjoy learning about my state's past, especially the hauntings. This book was quick, easy to read, and very enjoyable for all ages.

I got lots of history that had to do with the wars gone on in San Antonio to knowing that San was at one point know for its prostitution brothel’s. This book had me googling the places ten and know and I think I might take a trip to view these locations. As for the manger hotel passing by it is the norm for San Antonio residents, its neighbors to a well known mall called river center. I’m glad to live in San Antonio so much history in one little place.

This is a mid grade book. It is illustrated with lots of spooky images and pictures. It would be a really good book for someone to read on a family vacation to the Alamo City. (The only thing is Bexer is pronounced bear, not bay-har, as the author suggests!) I have lived in San Antonio for 11 years, and didn't know some of these stories. Good fun for the whole family!
