This is an awesome story. Juliet was invited by her friend to singles night at the bar where she works, she met Leo and the chemistry between them was great. It lead to secret she didn't want him to know about, eventually it all come out and they got their HEA. I received an ARC for my voluntary honest review

So, I'm not sure how I found this book; however, I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed reading it. First, let me just say that the hotness factor is low for me because this was more of a story with a purpose as to why there's not constant sex on every page. That does not affect my rating though because it was a good book. The book starts out on FIRE 🔥…. I MEAN HOT AND HEAVY. Okay no not the first couple of chapters not basically after the basic character build ups begin. The main characters do not have a meet cute, the have a meet FOUR ALARM FIRE 🚒🚒🚒🚒!!! Juliet and Leo in their normal lives are workaholics. Both have similar family issues and both have a hard time communicating. After their one night stand, Juliet goes looking for a job at his company and becomes his PA. This should be fun. It totally was. Of course they work well together but while Leo wants another chance with her, Juliet is not having it. I loved the character build up and the story itself. It was really funny at times which I love. It is a short read and I prefer longer books but that was fine, the epilogues finished out the story in the best way so that there's nothing hanging off of a cliff.

Can one night turn into forever?

Things in this story start off hot, our pair meet at a singles night and have a quick encounter. A month later Juliet finds out she's pregnant. She wants to tell Leo but when she tracks him down to tell him she ends up becoming his personal assistant instead. You'd think this would lead to her telling him soon, but it doesn't.

My annoyance with the story is about Juliet. She waits forever to tell him and I have a feeling she would have waited longer if she could have. Then she freaks out at the way he responds. If course he's going to be in shock! You've had this growing inside you (literally) for months, he's known for all of five seconds.

Then Leo accepts blame for him reaction. I know Juliet is emotional and he wants to make things right and give them a chance but that trope gets old fast. Other than that I loved the story. The relationship they build-up at work was part friendship and mostly business. There was respect and sincerity.

Juliet goes out with her friends to singles night at a bar another friend works at. She meets Leo and they have an instant connection. They share a steamy moment together, but Juliet takes off right after. Leo can't forget about her but tries to move on. It's not long before she learns she's pregnant from her time with Leo and is about to start a new job. When she goes in to work, she is stunned when she sees Leo. Turns out she is working for him. Will she tell him about the baby? Will Leo get a second chance with Juliet?


This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Her friend convinces her to go to the bar she works at, and it's singles night, but Juliet isn't really looking to hooking up, although when a sexy stranger (Leo) rocks up to her, he convinces her otherwise and they have a hot encounter. What will happen if they cross paths again? Will Leo just want it to be a one night thing? And what about the awkwardness if she takes up the job offer, where he will be her boss. I enjoyed this instant attraction romance, the angst, and how their story plays out. Both were easy to like, although sometimes Juliet was a bit frustrating.

This is a 2nd chance at love for Juliet and Leo. These two meet one night at a bar where Juliet’s friend works, during a singles night. They get to know one another some and end up in the alley and once done Juliet runs a away. Later on Juliet finds out she’s pregnant and gets a job as his assistant at his company. Leo has not stopped thinking about Juliet and is happy to see her but knows something is up. These two need to speak to one another! This was a bit frustrating but I liked how they work together to figure out how they feel about one another. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
