Nate Larson was the dependable one, the guy everyone counted on. He was the guy that got things done. When his band needed something, they went to him. He was solid, and he didn’t break the rules. Until Dani.

Nate shouldn’t even be looking at her, but there was something about his bandmate’s sister that drew him in. He avoided drama, and Dani’s life was full of it being a single mom with a toddler. Everyone wanted to know her secrets, but Nate was keeping one of his own. Secrets push people away, but with both of them hiding something, it was bringing them closer together. Something that should tear them apart might not be the end of their story after all. It might just be their beginning.

Prelude by Emily Robertson a five-star read that will astound you. This is the third book in the Love and Harmony series and each book goes from strength to strength giving more details of the boys and their stories, this time it’s the story of the shy dependable one Nate Larson the one they gossip about in the papers, wondering who would attract him, little knowing he didn’t need anyone he was an island of one. Dani is the sister of his band mate Austin and we all know you don’t date your buddies sisters, added to that she is as far from an island as possible as she has her little snuggums and enough secrets to sink a battle ship, but what’s a few extra secrets between band mates?? This was a great story and I can’t wait for the next book!! Will needs his story to be told now!! (and yes, I am having a Recce size tantrum over the wait). I mostly loved how this author starts each chapter with little snippets of gossip and drama, these just add a lightness to the story and give you hints as to what may be going on mmmmm what drama and fun.

This is the 3rd book in the Love and Harmony series and Emily did not disappoint. I had hoped that Nate and Dani would get together. Nate is the solid no-nonsense level-headed guy in the group and Dani is a single mother who is fierce and has been protecting and providing for her child from day one. They each have their secrets and desires. They are faced with many types of obstacles, most of their own doing, but it is interesting to see them navigate through their secrets, family trauma and attraction to each other. Prelude is a winner. I received this as an ARC for my honest review.

Loved reading Dani's story and the secrets she has kept from her loved ones but truly enjoyed how Nate and her fall in love after some bumps and curves in the road. Absolutely adored Reece!!

Wow, I loved this book! Take a band of friends reuniting in their hometown, add a bandmate's single-mom sister, throw in some twists like needing a place to stay and the heroine inviting the hero to stay with her, and you've got one heck of a great story. The only thing this story was missing was a bit more music! (When you name a book Prelude, I'm expecting more music.) I've got a soft spot for music, and I could've seen some very sensual options for additions to the already wonderful tale.

Nate and Dani get off to a great start from page one when she tries to figure out what his very private sex life is like. Out for drinks made for a hilarious setup to get everything started, and gave Nate plenty of reasons to consider all the background information I could need to understand their complicated relationship. The characters are deep and well developed, both with secrets they would like to share with the other, but unsure how to go about doing so. (Without getting into too many spoilers, there's even an unsurprising big brother punching his friend for sleeping with his sister moment!) The secrets the characters do share over time build the plot into more than just a forbidden friend's sister/brother's friend romance, and I loved every moment of it. Her secrets unfold slowly at first, then there's no stopping the rollercoaster to the end.

Sexy, sweet, sensual, and more than anything, adorably supportive. Feel good romance with enough twists to keep things constantly in flux. Adorable three-year-old daughter, too! Wonderful story, beautiful romance, five stars! Definitely read this book.

Emily Robertson does it again!

When I first met the members of Innominate in Encore, book one in the Love and Harmony series, I had no idea I would fall so in love with them. The guys are more than just rock stars and their significant others are more than girls chasing after them. This whole gang has become family to me.

Now, in book three, Prelude, it's Nate Larson's turn to find his happiness. Nate is one of those irresistible guys you can't help but to love. Nerdy on the outside, kind of quite and shy, he's so much more on the inside and it's no wonder Dani, Austin's sister, has taken to him. And how he bonds with Dani's daughter will totally melt your heart.

Family is still an important factor, and not just to Nate an Dani. I enjoyed being able to connect with Austin and Shelby again, as well as Wil and KT. What sets Prelude apart from the previous two books is the bit of mystery Robertson tossed into the story--where Dani and her daughter disappear to periodically.

Nate and Dani's journey is not an easy one as there are lots of roller coaster moments. You can't help but to pull for them and hope that it all works out in the end. I won't lie, Robertson had me biting my nails more than once.

Prelude is the perfect addition to this phenomenal series. I promise, you won't be disappointed!!

This is book three in The Love and Harmony Series and it is Nate and Dani's story and wow just wow. This.series is just getting better and better with each book that you read and I couldn't put it down. Nate is the quiet and shy one of the band and the person that they all go to with there problems but what people don't know is that he has his own secrets that he doesn't want anyone to know. Dani is a single mum to Reese and she also has many secrets that she will not reveal not even to her family, she is also Austin's sister who is in the same band as Nate. Dani and Nate want each other but that can't never happen because of there situation but as the saying goes "Never Say Never" because you never know what will happen next especially with the connection and chemistry between them and the connection that Nate has with Dani's daughter Reese and who is Reese father. I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series and see who gets caught next. Emily Robertson is an amazing author and writer and her books are so addictive that you have to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and you are definitely not disappointed.

Prelude
Emily Robertson

Wow, what a great book! One of my favorite genres, add in single moms and I was equally excited!!!! Dani and Nate who would have guessed this match. They back in forth was great. Dani has been through so much being a single mom. Being the sister to a famous rockstar and single mom to boot has been a challenge like no other. Shes never disclosed the identity of her daughters father. Its been a secret she hold close. Nobody has figured out why yet after all these years. Her whole family has come yo give her space on this issue on top of her secret weekends. That gave me pause. Nate the proclaimed bachelor was someone I never thought would show an interest in a single mom. Dani is as concerned by it of it as I would be. Nate is like the father figure of the bunch. He doesn’t want thongs to change but Dani is the exemption to that rule. Can he help change her mind? Can he change the mindset he has for his group? Will she be able to open up to him? Those are just a few things to look forward to with this book. It was so great to see the the other characters from previous books grow. I cant wait for the next one to see where the story leads next. Enjoy!!

Nate Larson is a contradiction on to himself not only is he the lead singer for his band he also happens to be the most shy of all of the guys. Nate is hiding a lot of secrets one of which the gossip magazines love to guess on Nate’s sexual preferences. All of this and he really has eyes for his bandmate, Austin’s, sister Dani. Dani is hiding her own secrets even from her close family; like who is Reese’s father and where does she sneak off to once a month with Reese.

Nate thinks Dani is a strong woman and a great mom but you know the golden rule…no messing with your bandmate’s sister. This may be a little hard for them especially when Nate is staying at Dani’s house in a spare bedroom while the band is in Horace getting ready to record their next album.

There are secrets revealed and family dynamics that make you wonder what else can happen. I can’t wait to read the next installment of the Love and Harmony series.

Nate is the member of the band that everyone else goes to for advice. He is always willing to listen and help everyone else, but he is a private man who keeps his secrets close and that includes the feelings he has for his bandmate’s sister Dani.

Dani is a single mother and her daughter is the only focus in her life. She is strong, independent and unwilling to share any details about her daughter’s father and her family is giving her the time and space she needs until she does.

When circumstances have them living together they are unable to deny their feelings for each other but are they willing to open up and trust each other with their secrets?

These two are perfect for each other and it was great to catch up with all the characters we know and love in the band. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

“Do you really think I’d need a line to get women?”

Ok. I’m going to be honest. I thought I knew Nate pretty well but it turns out I was so wrong! I mean, yes, he’s dependable and everything but I had no idea how much of himself he was hiding. Dani, yes. I knew she had lots of secrets, but Nate?

This series is amazing. The guys in Innominate are so not what you usually see in rockstar romances. I just adore them all. (KT is still my fav!) Dani and Nate are fantastic and so wonderful together. Seriously what took them so long?

No, I’m not going to tell you anything about the plot. Why would you want to know anyway? Just let me assure you this is another great book in a series for anyone who loves romantic rockstar romance books.

This is the third book in the series, each book gets better and better! I was hooked from the first page and spat out at the end, there was a few twists you don’t see coming that keeps you turning the pages. This is Nate and Dani’s story, we finally find out what Dani has been keeping from everyone and also we find out what Nate has been hiding! I have to say I guessed Dani’s secret but never in a million years would I have guessed Nate’s! We get to catch up with the rest of the band, see what they have been up to, I can’t wait for Wills story hopefully we don’t have long to wait! Another fabulous read from this author.

Nate Larson is ready to find his HEA. He has taken care of everybody’s needs, did whatever they needed to have done. He was the dependable one. But something about Dani, Austin's sister, seemed to call to him.

When things line up that he is staying in her spare room, temporarily living together, can they continue to deny how they feel about each other? Can they trust each other enough to share their secrets? Will the two of them find what they are looking for together? Will they be willing to be part of a family? Grab your copy and read their story, road bumps and all!

I hadn’t read the other books in this series but I plan to now after reading this story, this is my absolute favourite genre rockstars, bands etc and I loved Nate’s and Dani’s story. Dani is a single mum plus she’s Nate’s bandmates sister who is totally off limits but they can’t help the attraction they have towards each other, both have secrets so will it draw them closer together or pull them apart?. Sorry guys no spoilers but it’s a fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is the third book in the Love and Harmony series and I loved Dani and Nate’s story. Dani is fiercely independent, but Nate has the perfect personality to mesh well with her. Reece is a delightful bundle of joy that adds such cuteness to the story and makes your heart melt with her cuteness. I loved this romance and the band/family members add so much to this story. I strongly recommend this book!

Loved Nate and Dani's story. I felt like Dani needed a break. As a young single mom, she had it tough. Why she kept the truth from her family was a tough decision, but one she had made.

Nate had come across as the big single ladies man of the group but in reality it couldn't be further from the truth. He fell quite quickly for Dani, but just needed to convince her that he was worth the risk.

Lovely story and I'm now waiting for the next one in the series!

This is book 3 in the Love and Harmony series and it's Nate and Dani's story.I admit that this is one of the stories I most eagerly expected to read as both characters had intrigued me in previous books. Pleasant, flowing story, with some surprises I didn't expect and that keep the attention alive until the end.

Nate and Dani's story is full of loss and misunderstandings but underneath the messiness they find each other at their most vulnerable and yet understand each other like no one else ever has. Sexy and sweet, their struggle with independence only shows their need for the love and acceptance only another person can provide. Loved these two!!

Nate is in a band and the solid go to guy. Dani is the sister of a band mate and a single mom. Nate tries to keep his life stress free but Dani just pulls him in, child and chaos and all. They both have secrets and yet they seemed destined to be together. I like this series and I fell in love with Dani and Nate and as a couple. I like the writing style and this is just a fabulous story.

Beautiful story.

I just keep enjoying this series of Emily Robertson's more and more. Nate and Dani's story was really beautiful. Dani has had to be so strong bringing up her little girl as a solo mum. It was beautiful to watch her bring down her walls and let Nate in to her heart. A very moving and heartfelt read.

Innominate is back and this time it’s Nate’s turn at happiness!

There have been hints of something between Nate and Dani, so I was thrilled to see them get together!

Prelude is full of desire, angst, and mystery, which makes for an interesting story. Book three of the Love and Harmony series is another hit for Emily Robertson!

Wow

Wow, just wow! This series just keeps getting better and better. Dani has always been one of my favorite characters. I love her independence and her sass, I love how she cares for and cherishes her family. Even though she and Nate are opposites they certainly fit well together…Can’t wait to read more

This is my favorite of the "Love and Harmony " series. PRELUDE is book 3 and I think it is important to read the series in order.

The sister and the band mate is a common genre, but this one had a bit of a twist to it. A quick and enjoyable read, this story had a good flow to it.

Also starring a super cute kid and the rest of the band :)

From start to finish Nate and Dani’s story was angsty and mysterious! The push and pull and overall unknowns of what was going to happen really had me consuming this book fast and I couldn’t put it down till I read it ALL! I’m so happy to see the whole gang again and can’t wait for Wil’s book.

I received this as an arc for my honest review

I liked this story but for me it dragged on a bit too much. I liked Dani and Nate together but it took too long for them to really connect. Then ending was great though.

So I made it to the third book in this series. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with how this started out. The writing was much smoother and while we did jump around a bit it didn’t seem quite as drastic as previous books. I also really loved Nate and Dani, which I feel is what I had been missing in previous books. A relationship with the characters is so so important and I finally got that with this book.

HOWEVER things quickly took a turn for the worst about halfway through. All of a sudden the jumpy writing was back and I was so so confused as to what was happening. We’re dating no we’re broken up no we’re dating…like what? It’s all happening so fast and no feelings are being developed or talked about so it’s quite frustrating. I literally felt like I had whiplash. I could not keep up. I was so sad because of how much I really was loving this book at first. Now it’s just the same as the first two.

Also please stop talking about the leggings 🙃

Dani and Nate - not a couple I saw together. But Emily Robertson made me believe and see that they are such a wonderful couple. They balance each other so well, especially when they get out of their own way. I am hoping this isn't the last we'll see of them. As with the other books in the Love and Harmony series, I just want the stories to go on and on..........and on.

Emily does such a wonderful job of helping us understand what's going on with each character and why they do and think. She blends just the right elements to give us the feels and we just want her to continue to make us feel.

Another fantastic book by Emily Robertson! I have thoroughly enjoyed every book from this author so far, as they are entertaining, steamy and so enjoyable to read! In this story, Dani and Nate have quite the relationship and their chemistry is sizzling hot and off the charts. It is so good to finally see Nate fall in love as he is always the one taking care of his bandmates.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
