Eliot “Trigger” Holiday had love once. They were high school sweethearts. He was going to ask her to marry him on the day they graduated from high school, but he never got the chance. A few months before graduation, he was told she died. Saying he was devastated would be an understatement. Ever since then, he’s never let another woman in. He has walls built up so high, not even the Almighty could break them down. That’s what makes him such a great enforcer.Alanis Barton is looking for a fresh start. After getting pregnant with her daughter at fifteen, she’s been on her own. The father left as soon as he found out about the baby. She shouldn’t have expected anything different. He was older than her and had a full ride to Notre Dame and didn’t want anything getting in his way. Now, moving to a new town with her fifteen-year-old daughter in tow, she takes a job as the accountant for the BAMC.When someone from Triggers past comes back into the picture, will he go back to what he’s used to, or will he let the new accountant break his walls down. What happens when their pasts threaten everything, but what happens when history repeats itself?

=======================

Megan Sting. My girlfriend of four years and the love of my life.

I knew after the first few months that she was it for me. That she would become my ol’ lady when I got out of the military and done prospecting for the club.

I want her to be my wife before I leave.

Everyone could see how Aliana felt about Axyl, and how she changed when Axyl took a liking to Lana.

“Just leave me alone Lana. We’re not friends. We never were. You got what you wanted. Just leave me alone and don’t fucking talk to me.” Ali shoulders past her and Lana, being the dramatic bitch that she is, falls to the floor with a cry of pain.

Her parents weren’t my biggest fans, and they made it known.

Over the past week, I’ve been going back to Megan’s house to see if she’s home. I go there multiple times a day and there’s still no sign of them. They’ve all just disappeared.

The day that I found that note on the love of my life’s door, my heart shattered, and I became closed off.

She’s nothing but scum on the bottom of my shoe. She lied about dying, and then she lied about my son. Who knows what else she’s fucking lying about.

“You have no idea. I was always locked away in a room. I never had anyone to talk to or hang out with. Mom barely came and seen me. She would just come when it was time for me to have something to eat. I wasn’t allowed to eat with the family. Do you think they’ll like me?”

I’m the type of person that doesn’t believe in abortion unless there are extreme circumstances. If you are willing to open your legs, then you should woman, or man, up and take care of that child.

Ignore the negative reviews.

Seriously, there are a few spelling/grammar errors but who cares?!? It’s not that dang serious. The story line in books 2 & 3 are great!!!! Book 1 was good but the heroin was ALL over the place cray-cray and very childish. But, you gotta read 1 because the books build off of each other. But books 2 and 3 are really good. Riki, if you need someone to read it early and proof read, I volunteer as tribute lol. I’m a speed reader too. 😉

This book was really good liker her other ones. I love how we continue to see the family grow and the boys find the ones for them. I love that Trigger and his son meet and row a relationship with out his bitch of a mother. Alanis is a great mother and her daughter is awesome. I will say that writing to me was rushed but for a book under 200 pages with other books in the series it was great.

Enjoyable read

This was my first book by this author and I enjoyed the story line and the characters trigger and Alanis had a good back ground stories and how their past linked up I found a few things a little rush especially the ending whether this was done as a intro to a posey and gavin book unsure overall worth the read

Craziness.

This book is so fast paced and full of craziness. I really liked the overall book. I did think they were a little to over the top with the acceptance of anything and everything. And I did think it a little weird how fast everyone fell at Alanis feet calling her mommy or mama as soon as they meet it come into the family. It was sweet though and she was so accepting of it all. I loved Trigger though. Fierce and level headed and loved with all his soul.

I dont understand this over the top bindboggling meanness and evilness. The evil OW and her thinking in this book made me cringe. The heroine's parents and other family member were the topping of the cake. The way everyone was over the heroine and calling her mama, mom made me think as if I have missed something to bring that about. I went back to check why would they behave that way but nothing!

I’m not sure how this has been rated so well. It needs a MAJOR edit and formatting. Spelling errors. Name changes that weren’t fixed. It was super hard to stay in the story with the amount of errors this had. Errors that should have been caught way before now. The story was there, but this author really needs a team that works for her. They would’ve caught the errors and helped fix the story and timeline issues so that it flows better.

A good read

Trigger is a dominant sweetheart, I love his character. This story was a whirlwind romance with a lot of drama, but it was very good. I like the addition to the broken Angels series and im glad trigger has his ending I wanted for him.

Great read

Another excellent book in this series. The guys are fiercely protective and when someone threatens one of their own wrath has no fury.
