The zombie population is growing by the second. The families are fighting harder than ever to keep those they love safe. Follow along with this action-packed rollercoaster horror story, weaving family, zombies, and horror together into a gut-wrenching world.
Mike Evans lives in Iowa with his wife, children, and two adopted dogs Rusty and Harley Quinn. He writes with a passion to bring his characters to life, to make you fall in love with them, and then make you flip pages to find out if they’ll survive or perish. He keeps his characters realistic, there are no superheroes. There are no perfect characters in his books, everyone has their flaws much like that of life. Mike loves to write in different genres and is unafraid to try something new.
It has become very hard to distinguish one book from another in this series because so little that is actually new is happening. I got the set in one volume and I’d like to finish simply to answer the question of will they ever defend the neighborhood from the Zombies on the Block. Yes, a few people are holed up in the cul de sac, but the majority are still trying to get home on the day the apocalypse began ten books in.
This is a very scary, intense, and action filled episode in the series. The closer everyone gets to home the worse the danger gets. Mike you need to get the next one done or I'm gonna die from curiosity.
Mike with some of his family, other members of his family and neighbours of the cul-de-sac are trying to re-unite and then find a safe place to re-locate, unfortunately there are some heartbreaking losses along the way. This is an action packed tale of terrifying battles against the zombies.
I couldn’t put this book down. I was so engrossed in the story that I didn’t want to do anything else but read this series. Great characters and story line.
