Jayce is wallowing in grief and drowning in his many new responsibilities, having just lost his family in a tragic plane crash.
Tanner Creek Ranch, located in Northern Michigan overlooks majestic fields of hay and alfalfa. It has been owned by the Tanner family for generations. Once a working farm producing crops and raising cattle, it has now turned into a therapy ranch for the rehabilitation of a variety of domestic and specialized animal populations.
Jayce studied accounting and had his future plans in hand. But, with his four-year-old grieving sister, one huge ranch to run, and a host of people depending on him, he was finding himself outside his comfort zone and to a breaking point. The moment he arrived at Tanner Creek Ranch, something shifted inside him. He felt he made the right choice making that call to Aidan Tanner, his buddy from college, but it may be Mary Tanner that changes his life forever.
Mary is the introverted animal whisperer of the Tanner family. Born without an arm, she has been subjected to bullying and other insecurities throughout her entire life. Little does she realize that one sad, broken little girl, Jayce Abbot, might just be an answer to so many of her prayers.
How might one mistreated mini horse, a healing toddler, and two amazing young adults converge into an amazing love story?
The Tanner Creek Romance Series is based upon Philippians 4:8 (NIV). This first book, “True”, is the beginning book in this eight-book series. Download this clean romance book that will make you feel good about yourself and the world around you.
I highly recommend this love story of Jayce and Mary. Mary was born without one arm but Jayce never noticed since it was love at first sight when he first saw Mary. He was staying at Tanner Creek Ranch to get help with keeping his ranch in Colorado thriving after his parents and older brother were killed in a plane crash. Jayce had studied accounting in college but his brother had been the one running the ranch. His four year old sister, Brooklyn, became his responsibility and she had quit talking after his parents and brother died. Mary was the person who was helping her overcome her loss. A miniature horse was under Mary's care and she let Brooklyn name her Mimi. When Jayce and Brooklyn went back to Colorado, Mary gave Mimi to Brooklyn. I loved this story. I received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
This story is my favorite in this entire series. Mary is such a wonderful person. If anyone deserves to find her happily ever after, it’s her. Jayce comes to Tanner Creek Ranch with his little sister, Brooklyn, after his parents and brother dies in a plane crash. No spoilers so grab your copy of this beautiful story and see what happens.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest
Another story that gives the reader food for thought. Do we always help others without any judgment? Are we always respectful of others? Do we offer friendship and help as often as we should? Pure is a beautiful story of human behavior and romance. It adds good thoughts to our busy lives. I really enjoyed reading it as I usually do with Everlee's books. I downloaded a free copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
This is the 4th book in the Tanner Creek Ranch series and I have read all four so far. At this point, this is my favorite. Maybe it's because I love the character of Mary and her pure heart. She is always giving of herself and it's good to see her being featured in this book with a love interest in Jayce. Sometimes God puts people in your path just at the right time and this story brings out that truth. A great short read!
Aidan’s long-time friend, Jayce, needs help with learning how to manage a ranch after the death of his parents and brother. He is left with raising his four-year-old sister who is quite traumatized. He heads to the Tanner ranch in Michigan with Brooklyn to get his training; planning to learn all he can in just six weeks. Meet Mimi, the miniature horse and see what influence she has on Brooklyn. Great series. Quick read with great inspiration.
Another great story from Everlee Whitman. Jayce meets Mary and they immediately have chemistry between them. Mary is looking after Jayce's sister, Brooklyn after their parents and brother were killed in a plane accident. While getting to know and helping Brooklyn over her grief, Mary and Jayce fall in love.
What a great sweet and inspirational story. Mary is a woman with a physical disability and Jayce a man who just last his parents and was left with a little sister with a trauma. The love story between the two of them is beautiful. Everlee Whitman did such a good job with this make you feel good book. I received this book free and this is my hones review
Pure from Everlee Whitman is an Another great book from the tanner creek ranche series. It is a moving story about love, community and justice. Faith plays an important role in the series. The people love each other and are always ready to help in need. The characters are great and the story is captivating to the very end.
Aiden friend has a tragedy in his family and needs help managing his ranch. His little sister needs Mary’s help too, she’s not talking. Mary helps both with her love and a future is facing all 3 of them
Mary is a great caretaker of animals, when she is asked to look after her brothers best friends sister she is reluctant. He of course falls for her and the kids girl takes a liking to her. Can they make it work? Great story.
Another great addition to this series. I was surprised by the ending. It didn't have the cliffhanger introduction of a new character like I have come to expect.
