Feel Good, Quick Story

This was book 2 in the Havens series and it was another feel good, quick read story. Sometimes, you need a happy storyline to bring a smile to your face and this series has hit the mark with both books.

Linc and Lucy’s tale is one born from attraction. He’s done the hard work since retiring and was seeing what opportunities are available that he wants to pursue. Linc was happily surprised when he crossed paths with Lucy.

Lucy is trying to deal with the choices she made that led her to dating her previous boyfriend, who is a basic narcissist and just won’t let it rest. She’s taken the high road, but she’s also trying to find her place again. Then Linc enters the picture and…he’s a bit of a force of nature she just can’t fight.

As with the previous story, there’s a slight bit of turmoil that parts the two main characters, but not for long, and they get their HEA.

I plan on continuing this series. The escape it provides is positive and enjoyable.

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Tempted . This story is fantastic . It's full of humor and romance . Truly a delightful tale. This is the second book in the Haven series . It's as wonderful as the first . This is Lucy Bennett and Linc Hawkers story . This story kept me entertained from start to finish . Lucy owns the towns bookstore . She has decided after a disastrous relationship to take a break from men .
Enters Linc sexy retired Navy man looking for the woman that completes him . This story will keep you laughing as you make your way through this fantastic story .
I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Well done story of another Bennett sister and the steamroller she meets, named Linc Hawker. He's left the service, reconciled his demons and found peace. He doesn't expect the red-headed storm that is Lucy. While rehabbing the back of her bookstore, she begins to accept his physical and emotional beauty. Having been burned, however, she is leery of jumping again. Some complications arise that temporarily shake their foundation but unlike Zane and Olivia, they figure themselves out before a fatal break occurs. There are some town residents in Haven that make a return trip something to anticipate.

Lucy is the outgoing. adventurous book store owner. She has been hurt by her ex and the temptation of Lincoln arriving is getting too much to resist.

Lincoln only came to visit but will the book store owner be enough to tempt him to put down roots and convince Lucy he is the right man for her

I loved most of Lea Hart's books and have read a few of them several times. This book was slow moving and I didn't care for it. The whole wokeness killed it. Don't know if I will read any more of her books.

Book Two in the Haven series is so good, I love that the story’s run parallel together. Linc and Lucy an exciting romance one that you never know what might happen next. This book is full of laughs from a foul mouth parrot. Amazing Story.

They met at a party but we don't see the party , just the next day she mentioned how terribly it went

Loved Lucy and Linc. I don’t think I’ve ever read a character who talks quite like Linc I really liked it. I also liked Lucy and her crazy personality. She came off super confident but ended up scared like anyone else when it came to commitment.
