For the first time, Max has it all...and he intends to keep everything, even if it means encouraging his stalker.

Max has never had much in life, but his luck changes when he inherits a fortune from an ex-lover, a lucrative strip club, a ghost that knows his deadly secret, and a stalker fixated on Max. Focused on running the strip club, Max doesn’t have time for romance. He sure as hell isn’t counting on out-of-town biker President Crowe to turn his world upside down.

Crowe's arrival in Smoky Vale is all business...Get Grimm to join the alliance of bikers and help maintain the order of the Smoky Vale chapter. When he runs into Max, he feels desire—for the first time in years,. Unwilling to let that go, Crowe returns to a dangerous habit...stalking his prey. He'll do anything to protect Max, but Max must never know the creep who watches him from the shadows and kills for him is the same man who warms his bed and heart.

When the secret Max and Crowe hide from each other is revealed, will it destroy them or bring them closer together?

Crowe's Creed is a 100k outlaw biker romance with mild Daddy kink, a wealthy ex-stripper too jaded for love and a demisexual biker willing to go to extremes to keep the boy who makes him feel.

Trigger warning for torture, violence, drug use, child neglect, and endangerment.

Oh gosh, I love the Grimm tales, I’ve read them all, this one is just as marvelous as the others. The main characters are from outside the Grimm’s mc. Of course we will see enough of all the members of Grimm!

We already met Max in Cass’ story, he made the boy’s life hard at the dance club. Jealousy was what drove him., the club owner Kane was too smitten with the boy.

Max inherited everything from Kane, including Maurice, Kane’s bodyguard.

Crowe meets Max at a party on Grimm’s terrain. He’s intrigued, old habits are showing the surface, also feelings he didn’t feel in ages and certainly not for a guy.

“He was an artist’s inspiration, a mad man’s hallucination, a stalker’s obsession. I was a little bit of all three.”

Keeping Max safe is priority number one for Crowe.
Max has a stalker, he can feel eyes on him, even when he’s alone. Finding safety with Crowe is everything, his heart will break when Crowe is done with him, little does he know!

It’s a marvelous story, with an excellent plot, with hurt comfort, some intense sexual moments, thrill, and excitement.
A lot is happening here, not one dull moment to find. All smoothly written with a great flow.
Max is a sensitive, vulnerable guy who needs protecting, Crowe is a good character as biker President, possessive, protective just how I like them. He has some members I hope to read more about!!
There are some trigger warnings for mild mentions of torture, violence, drug use, human trafficking, child neglect, and endangerment.

I’m not a re-reader, but I did read all the stories from this series at least three times and will read them again, and again!

Tropes:
- MC
- Stalker
- Age Gap

TW: SA, CSA, mentions of human trafficking, homophobia, transphobia

Did tiktok overhype this? Absolutely. Did I still read it? Sure did.

A demi MC president falls head over heels and begins stalking a jaded former stripper who now owns the club he used to dance at. In the middle of Crowe and Max falling in love is a bunch of sex, drama, and violence, but the boys do get a happy ending...

Crowe’s creed is a really good book that I enjoyed reading, throughout there are many twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat which is great.
Max and Crowe have an instant connection that Crowe takes to the extreme but it drives the pair to bond instead of tearing them apart.
My only fault with this book would be the grammar which at times can be a little off putting for example there’s one line in the book that says ‘eyes filled my tears’
I would recommend reading this book though and I’d say it’s my favourite from the series.

Ogromnie polubiłam oryginalną ekipę Grimm Reapers MC, więc trochę sceptycznie podchodziłam do historii Crowe'a.

If I'm being honest, I didn't like Max when I first met him. I could never get a good read on him, and his personality had so many sharp edges that it was easier for me to just write him off. It's not that this story made me drastically change my mind about him, but understanding his inner demons and insecurities made Max into a much more relatable character than he was before. I still didn't love the way he treated people, but understanding how much life had dealt him a crappy hand made me less frustrated by his emotional outbursts. Max may not have been a sweet, docile boy, but he also wasn't a villain that didn't deserve love. Crowe wasn't the man I expected him to fall for, but the two of them fit together in all the twisted, possessive ways they needed to.

The more I got to know Crowe and Max, the more I realized how well-suited they were for each other. Crowe needed a boy who wouldn't flinch away from his possessive, stalkerish devotion, and Max needed a man who would walk through hell and back before leaving him. With Crowe hiding so many secrets and the demons from Max's past ready to send him into emotional upheaval, there were several ways they could have fallen apart, but somehow these two clung together through it all. From shady business deals to abusive foster families and horrific human trafficking, Max and Crowe's story didn't pull any punches. There were times when I seriously feared for Max's safety, but Crowe demonstrated time and time again that there wasn't anything he wouldn't do to protect his boy. The fierceness of his protective nature was only balanced by the tender care he showered onto Max during their dates and nights together. I might be a little crazy for finding Crowe's stalkerish behavior sweet, but when it brought Max comfort, how could I not see it in a positive light?

As the truth came to light about the extent of Kane's bad business practices and infidelity, the one thing I knew I could count on was Max and Crowe's loyalty to each other. Despite a few ups and downs along the way, their connection was rock solid, and it was the only thing that gave me hope when they were faced with a deadly threat. To say their romance went out with a bang is an understatement, and I'm so relieved that all the characters I've grown to love made it out okay.

**I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. This review expresses my honest thoughts and opinions.

Crowe's Creed is the fifth book in The Grimm Tales of Smoky Vale series by Gianni Holmes. This book is about Crowe, he's from another mc as the mc's from the other books and Max, a former stripper.

I loved their story. It had it's sweet moments, it was sexy, a little dark, full of feels and very well written.

My Opinions on:
Another hit by Gianni. She doesn’t pull punches when she writes and no topics are off the table. This story the characters are a little more fucked up in the head and it is delicious. Crowe and his stalking is just top notch. And texting?? Amen.

Max: Super bitchy but his past makes it all make sense. Perfect match for Crowe because he’s just as fucking crazy. Match made in heaven, or hell?

Crowe: Fucked up dude but I absolutely am obsessed with him. He does weird and creepy shit and it just works out for him. I’d be terrified in real life but he’s a dream in a romance book LOL.

Favorite Moment: Grimm’s reaction to Crowe’s room. *dead* Grimm has had to have seen some deranged and gruesome shit, so the fact that he was so caught off guard by this had me literally laughing out loud.
“I suppose not. I can’t say I—Jesus, what the fuck, Crowe!” Grimm looked over my shoulder. The open door revealed more of the room than anyone had seen since I took up residence. I slammed the door shut. “You didn’t see anything.” I’d never seen Grimm lost for words before. His face turned red, and his lips moved, but no words came out. “Just forget about it. You wouldn’t be able to understand it.” Grimm pointed at the door. “That cannot be forgotten. I promised Jamie you wouldn’t hurt the boy. That’s the only reason he hasn’t told Max you were the one with him that night.” “And I appreciate that. I’d never hurt Max.” Grimm ran his fingers through his hair and shook his head. I could see the thoughts running through his mind. He was worried, uncertain if he’d made the right decision letting me stay here.

World Building: Everything is still flowing perfectly and after this we have the spin off from mostly the Bloodlets side. I also love how each book they’ve always addressed safe sex and had the talks with each other. Also, how Jamie gets people tested and on PrEP.

Favorite Side Character(s): Bloom the crazy little monster. I am rereading so I have already read his two in The Smoky Vale Alliance. And stating he is my favorite here was NOT a let down when I got to his books. Definitely recommend the spin off series.

Hardest Part: Ugh. IDK why but I was gutted by the scene where Max He was absolutely devastated.

“I swear on my life, Crowe”—he punched me in the gut—“if you break your promise to me, I’ll cut your heart out myself.” So fucking perfect. - Crowe

My absolute favorite read from the whole series!

Wow. I just knew Crowe's story would be spectacular. That it would involve Max? Was a surprise. These two are just made for each other and I loved literally every second of this book.

Crowe is the absolute possessive and obsessive stalker daddy that walks the streets of Smoky Vale. I loved his caretaking, his devotion, and his willingness to experiment.

I absolutely love books that do not follow the usual role binary - small bottom boy, gruff daddy top. I mean, I loved the dynamic in Biker Daddy and I loved the little twists in the bedroom too here. These men just worshipped each other.

I only wished the ghost storyline was a bit more pronounced but overall, this was a page turner. No break up, not unnecessary angst between the couple. I mean, there is some, but it is always resolved fairly quickly - these just want to kill each other rather than just sulk and leave. The new characters just want you to continue the spin-off. Amazing. I seriously did not expect to love the last book so much.

My final rating of The Grimm Tales of the Smoky Vale (from most to least liked):
#1 Crowe's Creed - my review
#2 Biker Daddy - my review
#3 Fable's Foes - my review
#4 Miles High - my review
#5 The Mortician - my review

More morally ambiguous perfection

Love love love! These two are so perfect for each other. And there were so many awesome new faces I hope get to make an appearance again.
I notable lack of twins, but that's okay - knowing their getting their own story soon makes up for it. I can't wait to see what the spin-off entails, even if it is sad to see the end of the main series here. ❤️

I'm the kind of reader I couldn't jump a book if you are reading some series and that explains why it took me so long to read this book. I already knew I would like it, but to get to him, I needed to read the previous Miles High, which was a book that did not caught my attention and made me parked the series, so far.

I love most of Gianni Holmes' books, surely one of my favorite authors, but there are some books that are too heavy for me. When I started reading this series in 2020, I was afraid of not standing, the first book was the lightest of all and it says a lot and I say that because of the topics covered in the stories. Est*pro, child abuse, exploration and abuse, are triggers for me, leave me on the tip of the razor of anxiety. So it took me a lot, to read, but I tried and got it.

For me, this was another perfect book by the author, just sinning for one thing, the story could have continued a little more. Mainly telling what happens later with Max's goods, as was his adaptation to the new life with Crowe in the Club and even the beginning of the club's reconstruction. I know that part of this will be told in the next new series books, The Smoky Valley Alliance. But this series has potential for much more history than what was presented and I hope the author may think of returning to her. A dream, who knows?

Another thing is that this book did not have its extra like the others, a pity, Crowe and Max, are perfect. Not that I found Extra with Booker, Zak and Fable, they are my favorites and for me I could easily have another whole book of them and I would devour. But Crowe and Max deserved their extra. Cheering.

The story revolves around Max, who had a terrible life and spent hell in the hands of an ex, Sadico, who to leave his fortune to him before he dies, forces him to commit an act that haunts him daily after the death of the ex. He struggles to find out how to manage a strip club and get the guard of his two younger brothers, as well as accepting the friendship of the Reips boys. And Crowe, the leader of the motorcycle club's council and president of one of the main motoclubs on the continent, he is a persecutor and after fighting his feelings or lack of them, discovers he is demisexual. I love these two. I miss you already.

The story did not disappoint, well written, well developed. The wonderful characters, with good intracting. That reading that makes you cling to the characters and miss them when the book ends.

This was an exciting addition to the Grimm Tales, starring a biker from a different MC (Crowe) and a former stripper (Max). Now, I remembered Crowe and Max from book 3 (Miles High), which I reread recently. (My review here will contain spoilers for book 3, so I highly recommend you read book 3 first!) Crowe was a biker visiting from another MC, interested in making good with Grimm and his MC. Max, on the other hand, was the stripper who was extremely mean to Cass when he started working at the strip club. Cass tentatively befriends him in that book and there's this reveal that Max may have feelings for Kane, the creepy club owner who kidnapped Cass. Yes, it was a whole thing.
So anyways, in this book we find out more about Max's complicated history with Kane, as this book picks up after Kane's death when Max has inherited everything from him. Crowe, meanwhile, is back in town to sort out some MC stuff. Crowe, who has his own dubious history when it comes matters of the heart, is fascinated by Max at first sight. I really don't want to give anything away because it becomes a pretty wild ride, but there is stalking. And secrets. And murder. And obsession. And plenty of steam. Look, as a fan of MC romance and morally dubious characters, it was pretty great. I liked getting to know Max better. The plotline with his family was really moving. Not gonna lie, Max wasn't always a good guy, but then again, I wouldn't say Crowe is a great person, and the two of them are perfect for each other and develop a unique relationship.
One downside of this book is that I found it harder to get into than the past couple in the series. Probably this was because I felt as though the two characters weren't really getting to know each other yet. Sure, there were occasional interactions and they were fascinated with each other, but I wanted more than that. I enjoyed seeing my favorite cast of characters again, but I wanted to see Max connect with the other "boys" more and make meaningful friendships in addition to his other character growth.
Overall, highly recommend to fans of the series!! I'm SO EXCITED for the spin off series.

Story: 4.5 Stars

Like the previous books in this series, this journey to Smoky Vale is full of suspense, violence, morally gray characters, and an epic love story for an unlikely couple.

As Biker Alliance Board chairman, Crowe (37) rides into Smoky Vale seeking to bring the Grimm Reapers Motorcycle Club into the fold. He's not looking for a boy of his own, but something about Max catches his eye that he can't ignore. Ex-stripper Max (22), meanwhile, is feeling overwhelmed after inheriting a strip club and family matters taking a turn, but he never lets anyone get too close.

These are emotionally damaged men with issues - Crowe's obsession and Max's jealousy, among them - who meet by chance and form an uneasy but undeniable connection, one that runs deep for demisexual Crowe and lonely Max. Their relationship is at times intense, messy, unhealthy, passionate, and impossible to look away from (or stop reading), and makes for an intriguing dark-yet-somehow-sweet romance.

Favorite quote (Max): "I was playing with fire and didn’t care about first-degree burns."

Crowe and Max are on the periphery of the Grimm Reapers MC that's central to this series, but the main characters from the previous books feature prominently. While this book could work as a standalone, I'd recommend reading "The Mortician" (Book 3), where Max and his wretched former lover Kane are introduced.

Another benefit of reading the previous books is to fully dive into the found family aspect and tight-knit friendships that develop among the bikers and their boys, which is really the heart of this series. I received an advance reading e-copy of this book and have left this honest review voluntarily. (Also read in KU.)

I can't believe this is the same author who wrote "Be mine, twisted Valentine."
That was a great book!

But this one is messy as fuck. It's scattered and rushed, has weird pacing, and has an incredibly messy structure.

The whole idea that the main character is also a secret stalker of the guy he's in a relationship with is just.. Stupid?!
I mean why?! Seriously..
Give me one reason?
It's just so fucking idiotic.

But that's far from the main problem. The whole book is just.. Weird. Rushed and scattered like I said. All the characters are acting weird, unrealistic and just plain idiotic.

Everyone is against their relationship in the beginning because.. Reasons? The other main character is so unsure of himself, and exactly no one in his life is trustworthy, it's just too much.

Why didn't he just sell that mausoleum his dead partner left him, and move somewhere he's comfortable?
Why didn't he fire that weird and judgemental bodyguard who's clearly not on his side?

Why wasn't his first action to hire a lawyer to get his siblings back?!
Why did he just..
Do nothing to fix his situation?
It's just so frustrating.

Why is he never comfortable in any setting? Why doesn't he have any true friends? And on the other main characters side, it's just tiring that half the club is deeply homophobic and doesn't accept Gay members. And it's not even clear what his plan is? Everything is just muddled.

There's too many problems, too many threats, and no one dependable. It's just so stressful to read. You can never relax, and as a consequences, all their interactions feel rushed.

I really don't like this way of writing, everything just feels so shallow.
What an utter disappointment.

Crowe’s Creed by Gianni Holmes is the 5th book in her The Grimm Tales of Smokey Vale. It is about Max, who has had a hard life but inherited the strip club he worked at when his abusive lover died. He is struggling with keeping it open and his bodyguard is giving him problems about what he is doing. Crowe has come into Grimm’s territory to try to get him to join the MC alliance. He is fascinated by Max and wants to protect him as several things happen that put Max in jeopardy. He even became his stalker Daddy. Eventually secrets are shared and they become lovers, although not until some harsh words are spoken. There is a lot of angst going on in the story between the biker clubs in Smokey Vale, Max’s family situation involving his brother and sister, and supposed friends that are hidden enemies. It comes to a gripping conclusion that involves another boy from the series, someone who is trying to buy the strip club from Max, a smuggling ring, a missing computer file, and bloodshed and murder before Crowe and Max can have their HEA. I have really enjoyed all of the Grimm Tales books and this one is no exception. The characters are gritty and real and the story is so action packed you don’t want to put it down. I learned a lot about Ms. Holmes MC world and that it is dark and scary at times but that her characters find love. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to future stories from this author.

Although I am very sad that this is the final book in The Grimm Tales of Smoky Vale series, it definitely did not disappoint. We had met Crowe and Max in previous books, but the way the relationship unfolded was fascinating and interesting. I was invested in knowing how these two were going to make it work. On the outside, Max seemed like a manipulative little jerk. However, hearing his thoughts and reading more about why he behaved the way he did really made me like him more. He did need someone who would love him and care for him in a different way.

I loved how possessive and obsessive Crowe was over Max. At first, it wasn't even sexual. He just wanted to own and control Max. I love how for the longest time, Max was unaware of who his Stalker Daddy was. I adored everything about their relationship. Once it became physical, these two were hot and steamy. The side plot with Max's siblings was interesting as well. In most books, it would have ended very differently, but I felt like this was the only resolution to custody that made sense. I also wonder if we will see Chris later on. I would like to know how his transition is handled. I am also intrigued by Bloom. He is a unique character, and I would love to know more about him.

On the other hand, Winter got on my nerves quite a bit and I thought that Crowe let him get away with too much.

I tried to read slow knowing this was the last book in the series, but it was so flipping good I had to know how it ended. I will miss all of these characters very much though I'm hopeful we will see glimpses of them in future stories.

Max was not very loveable when he was first introduced in The Mortician (3rd book of the series) but he redeemed himself in this book. We get to know his full story, all the suffering and pain he endured in his life. But what I loved is that he wasn't made into this sweet boy. He accepted his flaws and was not ashamed of who he was, a bratty boy who faced life head on. However, he did open up to "The Boys" of the series and let them see the caring side he hid. Crowe saw Max, flaws and all and not only fully accepted him, but was obsessed with him. Crowe and Max were a perfect match for each other. Crowe stalkerish, obsessive ways made Max feel loved, cherished, and protective. Something he has never had or felt. And they were they so hot together, sizzling hotp. Crowe never allowing his no experience with a guy slow him down.
I also loved that we were introduced to a whole new set of interesting and sexy men while keeping all the ones I have learned to love with each book in this series. I can't wait to read more about them.

Well, let’s see: I enjoyed the middle of the book, where the whole stalking thing took place, but the rest was not my cup of tea.

It took me quite a bit of time to get into the story, mostly because the plot was all over the place and had too many side stories that never really got a proper ending. I also do think half of the plot did not actually make a lot of sense, but to be fair, it didn’t really bother me all that much. So yeah, the plot had potential but the execution was meh.

The characters weren’t all that better either to be honest. Not that I disliked Max and Crowe but half the time they didn’t make much sense either. I mean, their relationship made sense, but the moment they were not together it felt like half their personalities were missing. Not really a good thing in my opinion. You gotta be your own person, no?

Anyways, I can’t really say that I disliked the book. Even though almost every single element of this book was all over the place, I still wanted to know the end and the few kinda unexpected extras in there didn’t hurt either.

Im fuming this is the end of the series.... we need more or a spin off or something. This series has been brilliant and Crowe and Max are a great way to finalise it.

We finally get to understand Max, esp with how prickly he was in previous stories. He has been through soo much, and it takes time for him to even open up in the book to us readers. But the haunting he goes through..... so cruel. Then with the siblings thing..... my heart breaks for him.

Crowe is amazing, stalkerish, protective, suspious, open, honest, loyal, I dont have enough words to accurately describe him. When he finds those he loves, be it family or friend, he defends them fully. When he met and fell head over handlebars for Max, he took not one second to deny what he felt.

I adored all the previous books and to have these characters support and guide Crowe and Max was brilliant. I 1000% need a book for Bloom, hes my kind of psycho.

Max has been though a lot in life and the last few months especially have left him feeling vulnerable.
With inheriting so much from Kane, Max finds himself in a position that makes him a target of many.
Prone to many sleepless night which leave him wondering, it’s no wonder he draws the attention of a stalker.

Crowe is a biker president like no other. Seeking more than an alliance, he makes his way to Smokey Valley. When Max catches his eye, old habits come up to the surface and he can’t seem to shake of the urge to pursue Max.
So begins a journey of obsession, passion, rescue and eventually finding that special someone to love who accepts you as you are.

This was an engaging read filled with interesting characters, a riveting storyline and action, mystery and suspense woven into the plot.
There are triggers in this one, so do need the warnings.
I’m sad to see this series come to an end but I’m hoping Crowes men get to have their stories told as well.

This is the fifth and final book in the Smokey Vale series and it does not disappoint. It is just as full of mystery and intrigue as the previous books in the series and picks up right where Miles High left off.

When I first encountered Max in The Mortician I really didn't like him and I will be honest and say I was nervous about this book for that reason - but oh how wrong I was! This book really lets you get to the heart of what makes Max tick and why he is the way he is and I found myself absolutely feeling for him. Crowe was just amazing as well and so intense! It was nice how accepting he was of the changes in his life and I adored how he made Max the centre of his world - even if it was a little extreme!

As with all of the books in this series, there may be some triggers for people so make sure you read the warnings. But if you like a dark MC series then you won't be disappointed by the world of Smokey Vale!

Wow! this book was non-stop intense from the very moment Max and Crowe laid eyes on each other! Max is surrounded by danger and despite his tough attitude he is not going to make it on his own!! Good thing our out of town biker Crowe has become instantly obsessed with him! Oh and when I say obsessed, I mean Full On stalker Possessive.. but in a good way!! Because yes for this story it is HOT! Their entire story is steamy smoking hot! I really do not want to give a lot of details because that will take the dark enjoyment away from you! But I will say there are secrets abound, dangers, steamy encounters and under it all a sweet protective romance! I received an ARC of this book and if you are looking for a gritty biker and his boy romance, this one and the entire series for that matter is for you!

Once again Gianni Holmes has given us the right amount possessive Daddy and sassy boy, too be honest that doesn't even begin the describe Crowe and Max's dynamic.
Crowe is not only the president of the Bloodlets Riverton chapter he's obsessive,  possessive and has a level of protectiveness that borders on psychotic *swoon*.
Max was not a very likeable character in the other books but of course after finding out his sad tale of woe one can not help but understand Crowe's fixation. Never has a stalker & his object of obsession ever been more deserving of each other. They were a match from the start.
Crowe's Creed was a great way to end The Grimm Tales of Smoky Vale but we were introduced some very exciting new characters so I hope I'm seeing a spin off in the not too distant future?? ..... please.
I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review and this was my review.

Crowe and Max ❤️🔥❤️

4 Stars 🌟
Max and Crowe were great together, these two guys.....both wounded, both a little crazy...so perfect for each other!!! This was as sweet as it was sexy, and sexy times were 🔥. I loved that Crowe and Max both had a tough exterior but could be vulnerable with each other and heal each other's pain in a way that nobody else could ....the story line was well written and revisiting the past characters is always a pleasure with this series. I'm also intrigued with Bloom's character and can't wait to read his story.
This was a great addition and last book to this series, it leaves you wanting to see what's next to come in the spin off books. I recommend this book, it's a must have for fans of the series.

* I received an ARC from GRR, this is my open and honest review *

Another great book from the Smoky Vale universe

I think my favourite part of this book was how much I didn’t like Max previously. I have a total soft spot for books that focus on past characters who were meant to be disliked and give them love. I don’t know why but I adore it as a trope. Max fits that to a tee. I did not like him when we first met him and, to be fair, he’s still not the most lovable guy. However, we got to know him more and I understood him and why he acted the way he did. He’s not perfect, far from it, and a most of the things that make him all jagged edges personality wise are not going to change but I came to really love him despite that. He and Crowe worked. They were just as bent (in different ways) as each other and they accepted each other. Finding someone who accepts you flaws on all is special and I’m glad Max found that with Crowe.

This is a little dark and twisted and I feel like I shouldn't enjoy this as much as I did, but not gonna lie, I could hardly put it down.
Both main characters aren't even a hundred percent likeable, but when they decide to just be unapologetically themselves, I couldn't begrudge them a single thing. And that stalker thing, it gave me goosebumps and creeped me out a little, but I enjoyed it like I might watching a scary movie.
Also great pacing and lots of chemistry!
Could use another round of editing, honestly - it's not terrible, but enough issues to be noticeable. And especially around the showdown I winced a little at some smaller logic inconsistencies. Like, even if you can't answer your phone, you should hear it ring. And if you have it on you, why not use it the second the bad guy leaves you alone?
Wasn't all that important in the great scheme of things, though.
