Totally gives you the Romeo and Juliet Vibes with the hidden forbidden romance only theres no opposing familes just one man who goes by the name of Connor.
Hes volatile, unpredictable and unhinged and sole focus of his attenion Joanna and Bentley..
Marshall Marshall Marshall hes got a hero complex and the only person he could never say no to is home Jo.
Past and present reputations come to play Mafia style.
But who is left standing at the end of it all?
The whole story it leads to the main event and its blood filled and yet perfect and in true mafia inspired fashion.
Loved the story and could not stop reading. So i obviously read it in one sitting 🤎
Fab work by the author will definitely be looking out for more.

First booj I have read by Alice T Boone, I received an ARC in return for an honest review.
Enjoyed the book, Jo and Marshal forbidden love story is good, they were meant to be but denied there love years ago because of there best friend, the story as mafia links but its not dark mafia theres murder but I wouldnt say its a dark read, but its definitely worth the read, I did think it ended a bit soon but I did enjoy there rollercoaster ride. Look forward to reading more of Alice's books.

Such a good book! I could not put this one down. so much emotions and ups and downs! I had the intention of reading a few chapters and realized I missed that mark when I read the last chapter with a huge smile on my face! absolutely loved this one!!

First time author for me so I honestly didn't know what to expect, I was quite happy from the first chapter, it is written well, no stunted paragraphs and I like the characters, well sort of, I wasn't all that keen on Joanne at first. And the storyline kept me interested.
