They said he was a ghost. A man who could slip in and out of a room, kill without a trace, and never be noticed.
But I noticed.
From the moment we met, he was the only thing I saw.
His moonlit gaze. The anger rippling under his skin. The turmoil dancing in the dark depths of his mind.

They said I was innocent and pure. That I needed to be hidden away and protected from the world.
Only I knew the truth.
I was stronger than they gave me credit for. And the brutal killer who showed no mercy melted under my touch.

Our pasts collided, vicious and cruel. And when mine came to collect, it wasn’t just my life on the line.

It was his, too.

G😱

The ghost is the final book in the Hitman series and ties up everything from the previous books together❣️ It’s a lengthy read but so worth it😁 When I first started reading, I’d completely forgotten what had happened at the end of book three but then it slowly started to come back to me and that was when I really got stuck in😍

A not to be missed series and I look forward to what Ellie has in store for us next year❤️ I received an advanced copy and willingly leave my honest review.

G's story is here and I'm loving him even more now!!!

Finally G's story! He has been the one I have been dying to read about since I started this compelling series. I always knew that "G" is damaged and unstable, but what surprised me was just how broken Tessa is. I love stories where the timid girl tries to heal the tortured hero and Tessa really tries to help G and his self-loathing but it is G that opens Tessa up and helps her realize what exactly she needs to heal herself.  They turn out to be perfect for each other.
THE GHOST has a really gritty storyline and interconnects with the same timeline as some of the other stories in this series.  At first, the story started slow for me with Tessa and all her emotional tears and worries. To be honest she was getting on my nerves but after the story started to unfold I  really adored her and the way she was trying to take charge of her life. I really enjoyed this book and I know it finishes out this series but I am hoping there will be more because anyone who has read this series knows we need a "JET" book! LOVE LOVE LOVE THE EPILOGUE!!!

Tortured, broken and hating himself, that is G or «Ghost». Destroyed by his past and exsisting only to hurt people like those who hurt him. That is until he is sent to find Lia’s (from «The Hitman») sister Tessa and bring her home.

Tessa has been hid away for her own safety, protected and safe but just waiting for her life to begin. She is sweet and kund, and something in G’s tortured eyes drws her in.

Their story is heartbreaking, especially reading G’s pain and selfloathing. But their connection is undeniable, and Tessa brings out all the good in G by taking away some of his pain.

Can be read as a standalone, but the other stories in the series are closely connected and intertwimed through this.

•I recieved an ARC for my honest review. All opinions are my own•

Happy Sunday, lovelies ❤️⁣
I have been following Ellie ever since she first released her book, The Hitman, in her Hitman series. She keeps getting better with every book. She keeps surprising me with every turn. With a sad face, I finally bid farewell to The Hitman Series, which turned my emotions upside down. And The Ghost was such a beautiful ending that after I finished reading the last page, I broke into tears. Literally. I felt overwhelmed and consumed with strange feelings... It's always difficult to say goodbye to a series or a collection of characters that you've grown close to.⁣

This series had everything. It had drama. Passion. Mystery. Family issues. Betrayal. Laughs. Tears. Angst. Romance. Burns. Every single thing in a package deal of four stories: The Hitman, The Boss, The Queen, and The Ghost! Without giving spoilers, I can say that The Ghost hits right where it hurts the most. The storyline was tight where it needed to be. The dialogues were heavy and gut-wrenching. Our lead couple for this story was as strong as any other, yet as broken as none of the previous ones! They completed each other in a manner that it felt impossible to name them without their respective partners. I have been waiting for *G* ever since he first made an appearance. And I claimed him mine long before! What surprised me the most was the bittersweet ending to this happy family. God, what an epilogue. Forget everything, just read the epilogue and make sure to keep loads of buckets ready for all those tears...

WOW what a stunning read Ghost is!
Ms. Isaacson blew me away with this story.
It was raw and gritty.
Intense and suspenseful.
Filled with lust and passion.
All blending in perfectly to creat a strong powerful book.
G has always intrigued me.
Always there in the background.
But also silent and unseen mostly.
I loved the way the author slowly started peeling back his layers.
And revealing the complexity of G.
It broke my heart the way he felt and thought about himself.
Tess has been sheltered most of her young life.
Those protecting her have basically bubble wrapped her.
Being careful of what said around her and controlling her environment.
Yes for good reason too.
But unbeknownst to them are things Tess is hiding.
G and Tess have been influenced by the people around them from childhood.
Evil and vileness leave a nasty and forever imprint on their souls.
From the moment G and Tess lay eyes on each other.
There is an aura that swirls around them.
It’s powerful and consuming.
And just continues to grow and expand with time.
Is it their broken spirits seeking each other out?
Or the dark to the other’s light?
I don’t know.
What I do know though is G and Tess fit together.
They are each other’s missing piece.
“...G,he disappeared into the shadows once again, though I could feel him orbiting around me,the moon hidden behind the clouds.”
Their story is painful and gut wrenching.
Their lives filled with bloodshed and depravity.
Their journey hard fought.
But filled with hope.
Because in each other they found the rainbow after the flood.
And the shining bright light and the end of their extremely dark tunnel.

I love this series! Intense danger and intrigue plus swoon-worthy romance. It has it all! And the characters are divine. Sexy, skilled, and beautiful. This one features G, the silent one. Deadly silent, deadly quiet, deadly assassin, just deadly. Always in the shadows until it's time to hit and then he's a ghost fading back into the shadows. I've been waiting on his story since the first one and it's fantastic. He's so broken from his tragic past that it seemed impossible that he could move forward and find love and some peace. Enter Tessa. She's the daughter of a heinous enemy but she has nothing to do with the evil. She's been in hiding and now it's time for her to restart her life. G is sent to get her and that sets off an attraction that won't quit. G thinks he isn't fit to be a romantic partner but the chemistry is too strong between Tessa and him. As always there a boatload of danger with these deadly hitmen and women and their lovers. I love the Medina family and their friends that are always ready to defend and protect those crushed by cruel forces. This can be read as a stand-alone but the previous books are too good to miss. The storylines overlap but there's not a lot of rehashing from the other stories. Just enough. This is a dark read with cringe-worthy pain, torture and bloody deeds. Absolutely fantastic! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Warning: this series is very violent, has sexual abuse and other things that could be triggers. It is a dark romance so keep that in mind plus having MC all being mob and mercenaries it’s not going to be all warm and fluffy.

This is book Four and the final in this series though I hear there will be more in this world! Yay because there is still a treasure trove of characters.

This is G’s story and Tessa. In the last book G and Mateo had gone to get Queenie and Tessa to reunite Tessa with her sister.
This series is different where most stories run sequential this ones along side. So part of what we get already happened but we are getting it in G’s view plus more of his story and personality.
I think of all the male characters he stole my heart the most.
Also if you like sting female characters this season is packed with them. From Mama to Tessa the youngest.
If you like dark romance, Hitman, mob families, strong characters. And an all over good read... this is for you.

I have LOVED every book in the Hitman series, but I have to say that The Ghost shattered all the previous one because it just hit differently. Oh, and it's really better to read the series in order though each book is about a different couple, but the timelines can overlap. Tessa has been hidden away for her own safety, but is ready to get started on life. She does have some brokenness to her, but there's a lot of sweetness to her as well. G (The Ghost) is all kinds of broken & the self loathing he feels was almost too painful to read about since it felt real & I could relate. Something about Tessa calls to his soul, and she can see the pain he's carrying which makes them perfect for each other. However, you already know that it will be no easy task as there are some other things going on to throw all kinds of roadblocks up, but nothing worth having is easy right?! Nope, the twists come from all directions, with drama filled darkness along for the ride. So yeah, The Ghost checked off all my boxes and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the 4th and conclusion of this amazing series and is “G” and Tessa’s story. G is broken, damaged, and tortured with self-loathing about his past, and when he is sent to find Tessa and bring her home, he recognizes that she is a kindred spirit and as broken as he is. These two have an undeniable attraction between them, and together they are stronger and as they heal, they complete each other. This is a well written story which is raw and gritty, and filled with angst, drama, emotion, heartbreak, passion, mystery, and humour. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all.

Folks, I am absolutely in love with mafia romance!

The Hitman Series, and this addition, The Ghost, continues reinforcing why I read this genre! Ms. Isaacson thank you, thank you, for this amazing addition!

The characters compelled you to empathize. To want healing. To want loving.

Ghost and Tessa's story had me emotionally on edge. Tears flowing down the sides of my face as I could not, would not, put this book down!

OMG, I just loved this 5* read!!!!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Family will do anything for each other. This book twisted my heart and made me feel so much pain and hurt for these characters. But it also showed such an amazing unity and complete devotion to each other. Their were so many moments when my heart was in my throat. Such an amazing story that had me turning page after page and praying for a miracle. Absolutely outstanding read!

I'm hooked... Hooked I yell y'all...
And do you want to know who's to blame for it?
Ellie Isaacson... That's who.
She has created this amazing series and I can't get enough of it.
Her writing is raw and wild, hot and intense, dangerous, and forbidden.
The Ghost is her latest release and it's the fourth book from The Hitman series.
But I must advise you to read this series from the beginning, first The Hitman, then The Boss, then The Queen, and only then The Ghost.
This new book explores the lives of G and Tessa.
G is a killer, a ghost. His job is to avenge his past. He can do his job without anyone seeing him until...
Tessa has been sent away in order to be safe and protected. She's sweet, kind, and a beautiful soul and is eager to get her life started.
OMG, I have no words... No words to describe this book...
What happened?
Perfect plot, super engaging and intense surrounded by a cloud of darkness and drama.
This story progressed in a way that left me on edge the entire time.
I was overwhelmed with one hit after the other.
It was hard to read sometimes because of the things that were happening but I couldn't stop.
The need to know more was so high that I couldn't stop reading.
I saw myself thinking king, it's just one more chapter and then I'll stop. Can you guess what happened?
I didn't stop, I needed to read and read.
It was hard to see the struggles these two endured.
The pain and the horror were just around the corner and the need to hold them and promise better days was right there.
It was an intense reading, that's for sure.
And I'm sad that this series is over.
Why? I wanted to read more about them.
About them all.
Great book Ellie.
Freaking awesome in every dark aspect.   I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

FINALLY! I have been waiting for G's story since this series started and let me tell you, Ellie Isaacson did not let me down. The Ghost was dark and twisted and had me on edge from the get go.

I'm not going to lie, G was a hard shell to crack. Silent. Watching. Calculating. Angry. And for good reason. The more of his back story I got, the more my heart went out to him and the more I was rooting for him to get his justice. Find some peace and happiness. He got that in Tessa. Her past was just as rough as G's. But where he was hard and closed off, she was open and eager to break the chains.

No lie, The Ghost was gritty, raw, ugly and and downright addicting. Tessa and G's unlikely love match was riddled with pain and pleasure and promise. Somehow, someway, despite all the mayhem and chaos they found the piece that healed them in the other. It was uniquely them and wouldn't have worked any other way. And that ending! Be still my pounding heart! It brought everything in the series full circle.

Completion

Perfect ending to series and best book since Hitman. It was a vicious circle of circumstances involving two crime families. One family derived by adding misfits to a tight group of blood relatives who have suffered trauma and tragedy. One family of led by a brutally evil father whose son follows in his footsteps. The women in both families suffer mightily but manage to grow in skill and strength to overcome abuse and bad treatment. Figured out G's tormentor before ending. Never found out his name or age however.

Ghost was a very complicated book. It’s hard to go into detail on what it was actually about as it was very hard to follow and jumpy. However, what I did get from it was a twisted, unexpected story that appeals to the darker side of nature. The concept was excellent but could’ve been written a lot more clearly with more explanation. Despite the blurb saying it could be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading the the previous books of the series before diving into this one.

The best of the series. It was the most intense out of the four. This one has more action than the rest. It was the sweetest yet the darkest out of them. A lot of time, thought and effort was put into this book that you can just feel.

Amazing

The Medina Crime Family is amazing. Captivating, intense, sad, steamy romance, warm family gatherings. I didn’t want the story to end.
