Currently screaming in classes. After such a long time I read a great wattpad story. Plus dual pov please stop spoiling me 😫. This book has all my favorite troupes.

DAMN! WOW! WHAT! HOT! BASTARD!
The five most felt emotions while reading (and a little ache somewhere but we're gonna ignore that). This one had my like my favorite tropes ever, Enemies to lovers? Check. I hate everyone but you? Check. Arrange Marriage turned to love? Check. Most importantly this had a very strong female lead. This wasn't a story where mafia chicks are innocent as fuck and who doesn't love a strong female lead? Is it wrong that I sobbed too hard and at one point closed the laptop to just take a deep breath and calm down? Knox Marino: Looks- 10/10 Attitude- 10/10 In bed- 100/10 and does he has my heart? Fuck yes. Felix, babe I swear I read your pov and I took one whole fucking hour to comprehend what happened. I had a bile rising up my throat. Can't wait to read Felix's story (and hope the love interest is Anna) Axel, I see you. I see you have a fetish for uhm uhm 18 year olds. I mean I don't know anything but- *shrugs innocently* Lastly, make Cavallo Knox's step father in law, I mean why not? All in all, loved it. A book I'd go back to over and over again and would love to have a copy in my hands. Peace :)

I read this book 3 years ago, right after the Fighter's Den series (which I need to reread ASAP and it’s gonna get a whole post because it’s perfect) and from there I could just devour anything Amber wrote.
Knox had a tough childhood, miserable actually, and that’s what shaped him into who he became. He and his brother were convicted of a murder they didn’t do, their mother’s death was thrown at them, but they wanted revenge. They had a whole plan set up for months… and that’s where she comes in.
Mariana is a nurse, she loves her job, her sister, and she hates that she was born into the mafia. She never did anything wrong, she just had the blood of the made man who falsely put the two brothers into jail,, and she was forced to pay the price for her father’s mistakes. And how? By marrying Knox (ARRANGED MARRIAGE 🤭).
I want her. Want her body, sharp mind, smart fucking mouth, all of it. And I fucking hate it as much as I hate her
Okay so their relationship was obvious from the start—they actually HATED each other. This was truly enemies to lovers and I freaking loved it. The breaking point of that hate was chef’s kiss. The banter between them?? The tension?? You could cut it with a knife. Every scene had that pull where you just knew something was going to snap. And when it finally did, let’s just say… the spice lived up to every ounce of the slow burn.
Felix… let’s just say I’ve been waiting for his story (im)patiently. His character is so unhinged, I love him so much, and I know his book is going to make me sob just like the last chapter from his POV did. Amber has such an amazing way of making me cry.

Now let's start.
• What I hated about this book?
1. First things first, I hated how easily the villian died. I wanted torture, I wanted slow but painful death. The scene where he died didn't provide justice to all the greusome things he did. I didn't feel the rage in the characters, the insanity, the fire.
(And the fact that Knox was ready to let him go just for the sake of Mariana's feelings pissed me off so much.)
2.Mariana's and Knox's relationship seems to be built up more on sex rather than emotions. Around the middle of the plot, the book seemed to be just another smut book with no emotions or plot. They were just fucking around and then boom 💥 they fell in love. I hate this lazy writing which projects enemies with benefits as lovers. The author was focused more on writing smut rather than properly developing their relationship. It's such a let down to be honest.
3. Mariana is so desperate to fuck Knox. He does terrible things to her but she forgets it all once he touches her. It's so infuriating to read that she loses all her self respect in bed. NEVER EVER once in the book did she reject or deny Knox for sex. NOT EVEN ONCE. I hate such weak- wannabe strong- bitches who easily get dickmitized.
4.. They both are nothing more than horny dogs. They have sex at the most unusual time and it's so weird to read. It's so evident that they both are using each other just for sex. But yet again, the author should have flagged the book as straight up erotica I guess.
5. Their relationship was just lust, nothing else. They wanted each other's bodies to fuck and there was no emotional development bw the two. But all of a sudden they admit that they love each other and all that shit. We kinda are forced to accept that they love each other.
6. Around the middle, there were endless pages of them just doing the deed. It was so frustrating to read such repetitive degrading sex that I had to skim through most of the pages only to end up at them all of a sudden pouring their heart out to each other. Okay... I guess.

I’m being going back and forth trying to decided if this was a five star read that’s how frckn good it was. This is easily, easily, one of, if not the best, arranged mafia marriages I have ever read, including published books. The way the author so perfectly executed a hot a steamy romance, with an amazing and intriguing plot is honestly magical.
I was hooked from the very first page and have such a soft spot for the Knox and his struggles and the way he broke down his barriers to allow space for Maria and the love she had for him; they’re story when beyond just really REALLY good steam, it was beautiful.
And then we have Felix, whose teaser chapter made me cry, who is a damaged soul waiting for healing and I cannot wait to get more from him. Though not confirmed, I cant wait to see Anna whip him into shape (it has to be her right?). Lastly, if we don’t get an Alessa and Axel book I will be contacting my lawyers.

It's so bad i wanna give you a zero, but i can't so i give you a one.
I was completely aware of all the BS that could potentially go down in the book thanks to the TWs but my god i didn't expect it to go that south. Mafia books with the arranged marriage plot are literally more often than not a hit and a miss. Acc to booktoks i expected it to be a hit but you have no idea how disappointed i am. I feel like I've been clickbaited so hard based on one shitty out of context quote and ig that's my fault but like 😭😭😭😭😭😭 .
Why does it need to have sexual moments at all the wrong places. I get the hate and shit but why add the touching and twirling and shit right after he's said literally the most atrocious and disgusting and misogynistic thing to her. Even for enemies to lovers it's so bad it's like the whole point of the story is to show off how to write the smut and i hate that. I HATE THAT SOO MUCH. I'm sorry author i tried so hard to like it. I gave it more chances than Krishna to shishupal and ig nothing could save this book for me.

I read it to where the MCs meet for the first time. They’re in an arrange marriage.
There was no attraction from the H’s side.
She remembers seeing him around for years, because he’s hot and gorgeous, of course she remembers him🙄.
He thinks he never saw her before this meeting, because she’s just average looking? He dislikes that she has her father eyes, and shes wearing a hideous gown.
I have a feeling it’s going towards the fake attraction route.
Plain bitchy h + beautiful H route.
- their chemistry reviewers are raving about seems to be the h being a bitch to the H. And all that bitching leads to lust? Yea, ok.

When I read this book, it wasn't available on Goodreads, but finally it is and it definitely deserves to be here, because this book is just* chef's kiss*.
So when I started it I knew it will be a mafia love story where the male leads are in arranged marriage and they will fall in love by the end of story and that's it.
But was I ready for this rollercoaster ride, not at all, but am I complaining, definitely not.
First of all genres are age gap, mafia, betrayal, trust issues, and many others.
This book is out of league of so many wattpad mafia books, I haven't found any other book like this. The characters are portrayed so well and the plot twists, they are gonna leave you hanging for more.
It is amazing on so many levels, and I absolutely love the author's writing style. If you've read sweet spot, don't think it is like that. This is completely different. Hats off to the author for having a talent to write both kind of books.
Whatever praise I would say is less, absolutely loved it, and it deserves to be published.

Mafia romances can be a bit of a niche genre to get right- but this did it for me.
Spicey, smutty, fluffy and romantic.
Fantastic chemistry, interesting and dramatic storylines and just the right amount of fighting and enemies before the lovers.
Excited about Felix's book!

The MMC in this one lacked any character development and changes his personality like a light switch. The FMC is portrayed as “strong” but doesn’t seem to have a backbone. And all they do is fuck, he reminds her that this is not real & repeat.
I started to scowl while reading, and that was my cue to stop.
I kinda missed the unhinged comments while reading, though 😂 It would be cool to have that feature in published eBooks...

OH MY FUCKING GOSH. never have i been rendered speechless from a book. wow never thought my favourite book wud come from fucking watpadd. this was everything and more wow. the writing was beyond exceptional its not ur normal cringy shitty watpadd writing hell this writing was better than most published books. the tension the smut the characters fuck me wow. i wish this was a published book. this deserves so much recognition ffs. hell this was better than the made series.
