Crown Brothers #2

Trojan Crown

Rate this book
Anaya. That’s her name. The young temptress that’s come to test my will.

No matter how hard I try, her every seductive move breaks me, turning me into a monster who won’t settle until he’s had a taste.

She’s the nanny. The last woman on this earth I should be looking at, let alone desire.

And to make matters worse, I only have myself to blame.

I’m the reason my wife is gone. That same reason that left me wandering aimlessly in the desert, trying to find a way back to my kids.

After fighting death itself, I make my way home, only to be served the cruelest redemption life has to offer. Anaya.

A bitter chuckle falls from my lips because the irony is just too good.

Her name, it means God's answer. But in truth, she's His torture, sent to end me once and for all.

The second in the Crown brothers series does not disappoint! This one features single father, Austin, falling for his nanny. While this book focuses on a new couple, you do have to read the books in order, because this one takes place overlapping with the previous book, and there’s an intense suspense plotline. While you could read this one and not be too confused, you can’t exactly go back and read the first one after reading this one, without totally scrambling your brain.
This book hits all the spots, and it’s sweet and steamy and oh so suspenseful!
My only complaint is that I have to wait until May for the next book in the series! I’ve already marked my calendar!

Trojan Crown is a wonderful story about Anaya and her struggling marriage to Ray, he is not attracted to her anymore and sadly Anaya finds out the reason why. So she answers the call from her mom to come and help her and the Crown family
Austin has just lost his wife Blanca when he and his family are kidnapped in Mexico. They begin a rescue mission to save his step daughter Penelope and the new nanny, Anaya, is taking care of his kids. But Anaya brings out the beast in him, his alpha protective nature in daddy mode, and also turns him into the cranky Crown.
This story was beautiful to read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Crown Daddies for the Win

Austin is basically back from the dead. After barely escaping with his life he comes back home with guilt eating him up. Anaya is the younger, hot nanny. Austin is so surly to her because of the guilt and anger he's carrying around. Not to mention he shouldn't have feelings for her. Anaya has her own issues. She left her cheating husband to start anew. The chemistry is smoking hot. It's like once the steam starts it never stops. But the danger of the cartel is still in the background until they are forced to deal with it. We also get glimpses of Jack & Pen. How does Austin feel about them? You'll see😉

I can't wait for Jace's book. He has such snark and is cocky as hell. I love the Crown Daddies and can't wait for more.

Trojan Crown is the second book in her "Crown Brothers" series and I was so happy to get back to this series. I am such a strong fan of this author and definitely want to support her as best as I can. She is one of the few authors that stands up for what she believes and doesn't care what others think that are more traditional I should say. What I love about her writing is that its super easy to get into these. I definitely found so much fun with this one and liked it more than the first book. It just seemed to have a bit more focus on the relationship aspect that I really liked.

I really liked how she took more time building up the sexual chemistry, I really enjoyed seeing more emotional focus on the relationship a bit more. I loved the child set up with the hero being a single dad and the heroine being a nanny. I was so drawn into the relationship so quickly and just wanted these two to find their way together. I adored the way that the romance was built up, and we do have some serial plot development that are happening with this one here. I also enjoy the writing style of this author. It just seemed to work so well for me. I wouldn't call this dark per say, but its definitely more taboo and closer to erotic romance. Now I am not a fan of daddy kink, so these elements I just skimmed over, because this kink just personally doesn't do it for me. But I know it has an appeal to certain romance authors.

Overall I found this one to be an intriguing read and I can't wait to delve more into the family here.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

I loved Austin and Anaya's journey, but damn did they have a ton of things standing in their way! A crazy husband, a lot of ex-wife drama, two small children whose happiness hangs in the balance. Anaya is tasked with caring for Austin's children while he deals with plenty of drama (that we got to see in book one). But at the end of the day, Anaya and Austin are wildly attracted to one another, their souls speaking to each other in a way they can't deny.

When they finally come together it is HOT HOT HOT and I found myself rooting for them every step of the way. Plus that teaser at the end for Jace OH MY WORD. I can't wait to see what's next for the youngest Crown brother.

If you enjoy age gap nanny romance with a dad kink, you'll freaking love Austin. He's possessive and dominating but utterly confident–a hard combo to refuse for this reader! All my love for this book and five shiny stars too!

Trojan Crown has made me a definite fan of Eleanor Aldrick. One of my book besties kept posting about her books so I jumped at the chance to read this one early. I’m so glad I trusted the recommendation and I will definitely be reading more of her work.
As the story begins, Austin Crown has been through hell and is presumed dead. While on vacation with his wife, they are kidnapped with his wife ending up dead. Anaya is in a very unhappy marriage. When she learns of a job as nanny for the orphaned Crown children, she jumps at the chance to get away from her husband. When Austin returns home alive, his whole being is shrouded in guilt, pain and anger over everything he’s been through and the blame that’s weighing him down. Meeting Anaya is a gut punch and soon the undeniable tension and chemistry make Austin “Daddy" Crown an alphahole of epic proportions. Both of them really need to evaluate the prior relationships they had and discover the possible betrayals before moving forward. She quickly becomes a temptress that Austin can’t resist. He’s certainly not alone in his unexpected desire that makes guilt torture them both. I love forbidden loves. I did love the children and the love they both obviously felt for them especially since they weren’t even Anaya's children. Austin really fights his nature. Anaya's name actually means “God’s answer" when in truth she’s his ultimate torture sent by God to end him once and for all or so he thinks.
There’s SO MUCH going on in this book that I didn’t want to put it down for even a minute. There was action, suspense, betrayals, secrets and two souls finding who they were meant to be with, if they can stay alive long enough. My ultimate reading needs were met with the delicious angst and the HEAT was all-consuming. I’m really looking forward to reading the other Crown stories that will be coming out. I highly recommend this story. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

If you are looking for a book that includes a dominating man, who likes to be called Daddy, and is a loving dad to his children, with an age gap thrown in the mix then this is the perfect book for you. I enjoyed this book a lot. It was the perfect book to take a bit of a break from all the heavy and darker books I've read recently. Although reading Anaya's Pov did frustrate me a lot, I understood the fear and the guilt she felt being with Austin. And Austin's need to push Anaya far away from him for fear of putting her in danger.

After finding out that her current husband has done something she could never forgive, Anaya receives a call from her mother, giving her the perfect excuse to stay away from her husband. Anaya decides to take the job of becoming the nanny for some children who she later finds out have just been through a traumatic experience, not knowing that her life is about to change and her heart is about to be put to the test. Especially once she meets their dad, whom she can't help but rile up at every chance she gets.

After Austin goes through a horrible event, where his family is put in danger, he is left with the guilt of being unable to protect them. Becoming more protective of them and vowing to make those who hurt them, pay. Not expecting to encounter a very sassy, beautiful, young, and stubborn nanny. One he can't help but feel attracted to, more so seeing how much she loves his children.

Throughout the book, both Anaya and Austin fight with their guilt of being faithful, even if their previous partners don't deserve it. Many truths are revealed, helping to solidify their desire to be together in their hearts. And just how perfect they are for each other despite their age gap. Even if Anaya continues to deny their connection and remain stubborn about whether to be with Austin or not. It was honestly a quick read that I enjoyed reading a lot. But keep in mind that there are situations where faithfulness/cheating, torture, kidnapping, and murder are mentioned that can be triggering for some

Trojan Crown by Eleanor Aldrick ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

description

This book just gathers a lot of my favorite tropes, just like every single other Eleanor Aldrick's books. I love her steamy age gaps books, so when I was offered a copy to read before the release, I jumped into it. To better understand the plot, it's advisable to read Filthy Crown before since both stories happen at the same time, however it's still possible to follow the story without issue.

We have Anaya, a twenty-one year old woman married with Ray, a much older guy. They've been having problems in their relationship for a while, but the last straw was when Anaya found out he's straying from her. Anaya leaves carrying only her cellphone and the clothes on her back and receives a phone call from her mother asking her to come back home to take care of the two recently-orphaned Crown children. She falls in love with the children almost immediately. They lack love and she has plenty to give them. I absolutely loved them, they are the sweetest kids ever! We're so used to see little brats in books, that seeing good children is refreshing.

She keeps caring for the children and avoiding her soon-to-be-ex husband until Austin Crown comes back from the dead... Unfortunately the same can't be said about his wife, Blanca, who perished by the hands of those who took them. Austin is instantly suspicious of Anaya, even though she's a long time friend of the family (Which is completely understandable if you ask me. He and his entire family were kidnapped, he HAS to be suspicious of anyone he doesn't really know), and Anaya, being the brat she is, keep pushing his buttons while trying to ignore the sparks they feel towards each other.

Well, the book is hot. That's not even up for discussion. The "daddy" kink in this one is flipping amazing, because what started as a way to mock Austin, became something he had no idea he craved for. I felt like the romance between both characters was a bit off in the beggining. I mean, they have their banter, but I felt like the transition between banter and love wasn't that smooth. But other than that, the book was amazing.

So, if you're looking for: Daddy Kink, Steamy, Age Gap and a bit of Action, Trojan Crown is a must buy.

If you enjoy alpha males and age gap romances, this one will be right up your alley. Anaya and Austin have not had the best experiences when it comes to the opposite gender.

Austin was a grumpy and stern man taking out his grievances on Anaya. After everything that he went through, you can't really blame him. Anaya was betrayed in the worst way and yet still had a wonderful outlook on life.

There was an instant attraction between Austin and Anaya. Just a heads up, she does refer to him as Daddy and I know that some people don't like that but it wasn't too over the top in my opinion. But just letting you know just in case. The story had action and suspense and a few surprises. (In my case, I had suspicions and they were confirmed. But still a surprise I was right). I won't go much too much into the story as I think it is better for the reader to go along for the ride and experience the twists as they happen. It was my first time reading this series and a story by Eleanor. It was an enjoyable read and I devoured it pretty fast. You don't have to read the other story but there are connections to the other tale. In my case, it just makes me want to read more about the brothers and what trials they have had to face and what lies ahead.

The Crown brothers hoping each one of them get their own story this one is Austin sexy as all get out middle Crown brother takes his family on a vacation only to have the kidnapped, him being tortured trying to save his family has the ability to escape but leaving his wife and kids was the only option in order to save them but being lost without food/water prolonged his trip back to find help. In the meantime, his family has assumed he is dead, older brother has custody of the children, their mother is dead and so their housekeeper calls her daughter to come and take care of the kids. Anaya is married in a marriage that is broken she knows her husband has been stepping out on her, so she decides to take matters into her hands to try and make her marriage work until she got proof that he was cheating running was her first go to so when her mom called to ask her to come and be a nanny to the kids she accepted without hesitation walking away from her husband and marriage. Fast forward Austin is found very much alive bringing him home to be with his family and meeting the new nanny well this is where the rides get a little more interesting without even saying a word, she has stopped him in his tracks, he can’t think straight, can’t walk straight, and he can’t sleep because he shouldn’t want the nanny, but his heart and body tells him something different. After some research he learns more about the women he married, and the crimes she committed prior to marring him which kind of lifts the guilt he was feeling when it came to falling for his nanny. Anaya is in the same boat as Austin she can’t sleep, eat, gets all butterflies every time she is in the same room as Austin and the chemistry is thick intense and neither can ignore it any longer but neither planned on getting involved it just happened. So, when Anaya’s husband come looking for her demanding she return home but of course that isn’t happening but who is her husband really because he isn’t the man, she thinks he is, is he responsible for the death of their parents, who was Austin’s wife having an affair with, are they as safe as they think, and can they find happiness after so much heartache?

DNF -- No Warnings Given for Offensive Material . . .

This book is full of daddy kink and no warning given in the review copy nor on the published book. I find that extremely offensive and I will not continue reading. If I had been warned, I would not have accepted the book for review. The blurb sounded good but I’m tired of kink being inserted in books like it’s no big deal. It’s offensive to me and I see no point in putting myself through trying to skip over the nasty stuff. It would not be an enjoyable read for me.

I ask authors to please warn about this stuff. Other so-called triggers are all waved around like red flags, yet it’s rare to see warnings of kinky subjects which upset, disgust, and offend me. Warn me next time and I will make sure not to take the ARC for review.

So this is the first book I've ever read by Eleanor and after reading this I will definitely continue to read her books.

I loved everything about this book from start to finish. So much gets in the way of Anaya and Austin's happily ever after. From a psycho ex-husband to an ex-wives drama, having his kids and wife abducted has Austin loosing his mind. Two weeks later he finds his youngest kids, his step-daughte is still missing and his wife is dead leaving him a widow trying to get his family back and heal.

Anaya comes in the picture as she becomes the new nanny to the kids while Austin heals from being abducted, and the heat between the two from the moment they lay eyes on each other will leave your kindle melting.

Anaya has just runaway from her cheating husband to find herself being the nanny to a very grumpy Austin. Although the kids have started to grow on her Austin hasn't really left much of himself to like except of course his body and voice.

After his step-daughter is found he now has to deal with not only his feelings for his new nanny but his rage at finding out about his brother and step-daughter falling in love.

With every command Austin gives Anaya she finds herself wishing he would command her in other places that don't involve him being her boss like the bedroom. Filled with guilt over her feelings for him Anaya tries to push Austin away but that only makes him pull her in more.

When her ex-husband comes looking for her all hell breaks loose. Anaya has to deal with a cheating husband who won't let her go and a man she knows she shouldn't be falling in love with but just can't help herself. As Austin and Anaya keep spending time together secrets are uncovered that can put not only her life in jeopardy but also the lives of the kids and Austin.

It's a story of temptation and following your heart. It was well written and I just couldn't put it down every chapter left me wanting more and more. Overall this book was amazing.

Trojan Crown by Eleanor Aldrick is book Two in the Crown Brothers Series. This is the story of Austin and Anaya. I have read the first book Filthy Crown which I do think you should do. Austin was thought to be dead along with his wife Blanca but he survived but his wife didn't. Returning home he finds that Anaya is the nanny helping to take care of the kids. Anaya is a young women who is married but she found out her husband is cheating but really they hadn't been getting along for a while. So she left and when she was called to help the Crown children that have been orphaned she runs to help out. Both Austin and Anaya are not to trusting of each other at first but the sparks soon take over. Enjoyed their story.

This is the first book I've read by the author and I loved it. Austin and Anaya's story is a fast-paced and steamy one. You can definitely feel the angst, attraction and chemistry between them. But they know they couldn't act on it. For one, Austin just lost his wife and Anaya is still married. I definitely enjoyed watching how they navigate around it for sure.

To fully understand parts of Anaya and Austin’s story, I would recommend reading Pen and Jack’s book first, “Filthy Crown”.

Anaya is a young woman in her very early twenties who is going through a tough time in her marriage to her husband, Ray. When her mother calls her and asks for her help, it’s comes at the perfect time as Anaya decides to leave her husband.

Anaya is employed by Jack Crown to nanny his niece and nephew who have recently lost both their parents. Anaya falls in love with the children almost immediately. Even though she doesn’t have much experience in taking care of children, she soon can’t imagine being anywhere else and taking care of these two kids who really need her just as much as she needs them at that moment.

A couple of weeks later, the children’s father unexpectedly arrive. Turns out he wasn’t killed after all, but the children have still lost their mother.

There is an instant attraction between Anaya and the children’s father, Austin. Austin is grieving his wife and trying to come to terms with everything that has happened over the last few months, but he can’t ignore his growing attraction to his children’s nanny.

Nothing actually happens between Anaya and Austin for a good chunk of the book. In fact, Austin is really nasty and abrupt with Anaya for more than half of the book.

Which brings me to the main reason why I only gave Anaya and Austin’s story three stars. I just didn’t get the love between them. I didn’t get the connection between them that I was really looking for.

So many tropes in this book are some of my faves, but this book just fell flat for me. Don’t get me wrong, I did enjoy the story, but as for the actual romance… I just didn’t get it.

I understood the attraction the two characters felt for one another, but their love? Nah, sorry. Like I said before, for over half of the book, Austin was fairly mean to Anaya, but then as soon as HE decided he wasn’t going to fight his attraction to her anymore, he claimed her.

While Austin had quite rightly had his own things going on, so did Anaya. We need to remember that even though she left her husband, she’s still married to him. Things get a bit more complicated when her estranged husband Ray eventually turns up just as Austin has decided Anaya is the woman for him.

But this is the thing… after a few short week of basically ignoring Anaya or talking down to her and being unnecessarily cruel to her, Austin has made up his mind that she’s his. He even states he wants to impregnate her just so he won’t lose her. Like wtf?! They literally met a few weeks before and haven’t really gotten to know each other because neither of them really allowed themselves to. But all of a sudden I’m supposed to buy into the fact that they’re perfect for each other and soulmates.

Not long after things start to happen between them, things happen and all of a sudden they are confessing to being in love. Sorry, I don’t understand where that feeling came from.

I feel like this was a lot of telling, rather than showing. It’s a shame because the idea of the book really interested me, but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I was expecting a bit more. I just don’t get how two character can be practical strangers for over 50% of the book and then out of nowhere 20% later be claiming to be soulmates.

I know a few people have read this and throughly enjoyed it and I’m glad. I just think I may have missed something.

It was an enjoyable enough read, but I just wanted more of the romance building between Anaya and Austin.

The sex scenes between the two were pretty great. I just wish I felt more of a connection between the two main characters.

I was kindly sent an ARC of “Trojan Crown” in exchange for an honest review.

I have been patiently counting down the days until the release of Trojan Crown, book two in the Crown Brothers series by Eleanor Aldrick. This story has it all, age gap, daddy kink, nanny heroine, possessive hero, drama, angst, emotion, steam.
I'm so glad I cleared my day to read this book because I could not stop reading and finished it in six hours. I loved every page of Austin and Anaya's story! I really enjoyed how much the love is intertwined with the suspense and drama.
The steam was perfection, it started to build from the first, second Austin, and Anaya meet, and it builds and builds throughout the story and explodes in orgasmic sexy times.
Austin isn't only the best dirty talker, but he is completely alpha but one with a soft heart for his baby girl. The poor man has been through so much, and now it is all behind him, he still lives in darkness. Fortunately, he meets Anaya, who brings light into his life. I adored this sassy queen who fought for the love of her life and took care of his children as if they were hers.
I enjoyed seeing Pen and Jack and how Austin reacted to their relationship. Of course, the next story got teased too, this will be about Jace, and I can't wait to read this.
I can keep going about this story and how much I loved it, but you should just read it because it is fantastic!

I had a feeling I wasn't going to enjoy this one as much as the first book in the Crown Brothers series, and I was right.

1. Characters:

Anaya - At first, I thought Anaya was a total sweetheart, especially given how she was cheated on (literally finding out in the worst way possible in my opinion) and then she dropped everything to go help her mom. But then I continued reading and realized that she may be a sweetheart, but she's an idiot.

Anaya…Anaya…ANAYA! NO! The answer is no! You were married for 2 years, you just said you never felt for him what you feel for Austin after 2 weeks, and you even confessed you were only with him because you have a hang up after your dad left. So what exactly are you thinking when you think you need to give him and your marriage a chance?!?! Ugh...I can't even with you.

Also, what is the deal with knowing you aren't using any form of protection, calling yourself out on that being stupid and not what you want to do, and then saying f*ck it 10 seconds later???
CiCiNoNo

Austin -I knew I wasn't going to like Austin after our introduction to him in the first book, I was just hoping I was wrong.

Dude got over his recently deceased wife REAL fast! Then, when he found out Anaya left and he all of a sudden lumped her in with the other women in his life who legitimately abandoned him? I’m sorry, I don’t see how her leaving automatically lumps her with these people. SHE. DOES. NOT. HAVE. A. RESPONSIBILITY. TO. YOU.

As a curvy girl, I am definitely a Marilyn Monroe lover. To me, she is perfection in heels. So when Austin uses Monroe as his pet name for Anaya, I am all kinds of confused. Like, I get the thought process around it, but at the same time, does “baby” not suffice? Monroe just doesn’t work for me in this capacity.

OK! That really, really unrealistic “member size”??? Instead of being an “Oh damn!” moment, I literally laughed my ass off. If someone fits this bill, they can feel free to call me…
CallMe

Mama Mary - she was pretty cool, not gonna lie. Her and her shotgun were probably my favorite part of this book.

2. Single dad, daddy trope...again - what is it with these single dad Crown men and their "daddy" fetish??? Read the preview of book 3. Shocker, there's a single dad, daddy fetish. I'm all for the daddy fetish, but every book??? Just hoping Matt and Hunter don't start knocking chicks up so hopefully book 4 and 5 can branch out a bit.

3. Why were we robbed of seeing Raul/Ray/dirty dirty cheater taken out? We got a nice synopsis later detailing what ultimately happens to him, but it was unsatisfying and confusing in the moment.

The reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the steam and dirty talk are fantastic, and I'll be reading the third book because I know I won't be able to keep away.

I was excited to dive into this one after meeting these characters in the first story and because yet again this book is basically all my favorite tropes- age gap, nanny, forbidden, GIMME! And, there were parts I enjoyed, but unfortunately like the last book this was a bit of a miss for me.

Where it excels is, of course, the delicious smutty goodness. Eleanor can write some daddy kink and some delicious steamy scenes, and yet again this part of the story was magical. But like the first book, I found the pacing to drag (I skimmed a lot early on hoping to get to a dynamic shift), so much of the same dynamic- just waiting for the chemistry to pick up, and for me it never quite did. I never quite felt any sort of real connection- which I could maybe get behind in an instalust, but when half the book is build up, I think I just wanted more. Austin out of the blue just sort of flips the switch in his attraction/claiming of Anaya- almost like I was reading a different character. There were many more moments where I wanted to experience their emotions vs. being retold them, and perhaps it’s just a writing style preference for me.

There’s some other drama and suspense that adds to the story and both have some real past baggage- in the last book I felt some of the secondary action distracted, but here I found it more engaging, perhaps because it felt more character centered, though we still have a lot of periphery characters floating around that I’m not quite invested in yet.

I still think Eleanor is a fantastic erotic writer, and others seemed to really enjoy this story- honestly, the steamy parts alone were worth the read. I’d consider reading more books to see how the emotive aspect of the writing plays out, but thus far the first two books have been fantastically smutty but more lukewarm romantically for me personally. But love the architecture she’s writing in.

So this is the seconded book in the trojan crown series and I came across the first book I think on either kindle unlimited or on tiktok and I loved the first one so much and I just loved Eleanor's writing , the characters, and just this entire world of characters she has created! So naturally when I saw she had a series already about all the men of wrath i read ALL OF THEM..In one week! But I have reviews about all those under each book. Anyways all to say this book did not disappoint! I love Austin I don't care if that is an unpopular opinion I'm in love with him! he is probably my favorite out of all the crown brothers so far, but we shall see with the next book! Which doesn't come out until May so it will be really hard to wait because I am extremally invested in these characters. So much so it feels like I know them! And I cannot wait to see where she takes these characters!! But about this specific book I thought it was good I loved the characters and I loved how well Anaya and the kids got along and how the automatically accepted her I thought it was really sweet. I loved Austin and Anaya's relationship it was really steamy!! My only thing was the the whole thing with the ex husband was it kinda annoyed me how Anaya wouldn't tell Austin the truth about how bad the situation actually was, she kinda just played it off like it wasn't a big deal. But other than that I loved it and I will be not patiently waiting for the next book!

This is a wonderful story the 2nd in the Crown Brothers series and it has everything age-gap, possessive hero, daddy kink, nanny heroine plus plenty of emotion, drama, steam and angst. Once you start you won't be able to stop the story really pulls you in and you'll keep turning pages to see what happens until the end. From the moment that Austin and Anaya meet you could feel the heat of their attraction. Austin was recently widowed and he barely managed to survive after his family was kidnapped in Mexico. He's grateful for the new nanny that was hired to help with his children. Anaya came to help because her mother asked her to and after she found out that her husband was cheating on her she needed a fresh start. Their chemistry is scorching hot and although he's never been into the daddy kink he'll be whatever she needs him to be including one hell of a dirty talker. You really need to read this steamy story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Another great book in this series. Eleanor Aldrick keeps drawing me into her work and I love it! This is the story of Austin Crown and Anaya Garcia. Anaya is married to an older man named Ray who seems to be ignoring her even though they have only been married a few years. When Anaya finds out that Ray is cheating on her, she runs and luckily at that moment, her mom calls from Colorado and needs her help. Anaya ends up on the Crown Ranch in Colorado playing nanny to Austin’s children. Austin is one of the Crown Brothers who was presumed dead in the first book, but was found with the help of Wrath Security. When Austin comes home, he is attracted to Anaya, but has doubts because he is the reason his kids no longer have a mother.

This will keep you on the edge of your seat – secrets are revealed, betrayal occurs, kidnapping (again!), some steamy scenes, lots of banter, heartache, chemistry, and some twists. Great story with some great characters – although Austin was a little unwelcoming to Anaya in the beginning and I might have wanted to slap him a couple of times! I look forward to seei ng what is next in the Crown series!

look. if you tell me you’ve got a steamy romance with a broody alpha male and pair that off with an age gap? just give it to me. cause this? stir it in with a single dad / nanny relationship, daddy kink, possessiveness…. sensational.

the amount of times my theories were right when i wish it wasn’t had me feeling hahaha.

anyways. i loved and enjoyed book so much. it seriously gets better with each book. you can’t help but get sucked into the world of the crowns.

i seriously can not wait for sinful crown because after that preview? (major eye roll at a certain character) i just can t wait for the craziness to start lol.

I LOVED this book. I really like everything Eleanor has written. The Men of WRATH Series got me hooked on her books and I couldn’t wait to read Crown series. I loved Filthy Crown, but Trojan Crown was even better.
Anaya’s mom calls her to come help nanny her bosses brother Austin’s kids. They have been through so much!
Anaya agrees, and immediately flies to the ranch where they are. When she gets there, shes surprised at her connection with the kids and then later with the rescue of Austin. He is rescued from being believed dead. When he comes back, he’s fighting some of his own demons of grief and guilt and is not expecting Anaya— or his attraction to her.
They start feisty, and soon it’s obvious there is more to them then a working relationship.
I loved seeing Anaya rescue herself from a horrible relationship and Austin work through everything he had been though. Their chemistry is 🥵hot AF and the Daddy kink is written perfectly.
I like how Eleanor’s books are funny and have just enough angst to get you wondering how it will work out and then the endings are wrapped up so nicely.

Would recommend if you like taboo romance, daddy kink, HEA, specifically if you liked the books ‘Your Dad will Do’ and ‘My Dad’s best Friend’ by Katee Robert.

A whole lot of really bad things have happened in Austin's life lately, which explains his grumpy attitude. Until he meets Anaya. She's off limits - the new nanny - and she falls in love with his children before she even meets him. They're on a really slow burn... like a very long fuse before a huge explosion. Drama, danger, suspense, a beautiful young woman, a hot single dad with a filthy mouth and a daddy kink... check, check, check, check and check. This book has everything that I've grown to love about this author's writing. Two brothers to go... I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Trojan Crown is the second book in the ‘Crown Brothers’ series and tells the story of Austin and Anaya. Austin is feared dead and Anaya is hired by his oldest brother, Jack, to look after Austin’s two children. He is found safe and sound and returns to the family ranch where he meets Anaya for the first time. OMG! let the fireworks commence.

The chemistry between the two is off the scale! The storyline is captivating from the outset and the red hot sex scenes will leave you squirming. It’s a well written, deliciously filthy age-gap romance, with a little Daddy kink, and is intriguing from the very first page.

The book can be read as a standalone but I think would be better enjoyed after reading the first book in the series, Filthy Crown, as it gives a bit of background to the story. Overall, a really great read and I look forward to reading the remaining novels featuring the RED HOT Crown brothers. Can’t wait for Hunter’s story!!! Highly recommended.

hot and steamy

If you’re looking for a hot and steamy book with an age gap and daddy kink, this is the book for you.

Austin is a grumpy single dad who is attracted to the forbidden nanny. As a recent widower, he knows it’s wrong to feel such a strong pull to Anaya. He’s never been into Daddy kink but he soon discovers that he’ll be anything she needs him to be. He’s possessive and demanding and all sorts of yummy.

Anaya is running from a cheat and knows it’s wrong to be so drawn to her boss. She’s surprised to find that Austin is exactly what she’s always wanted and needed. She has her own scars but Austin fulfills her completely. She tries to stay away but her body craves Austin and his one word demands have her panting for more.

The attraction between these two is strong from the moment they meet but not unrealistic. The scenes in this book leave you feeling hot and turning the page for more.

Eleanor has another hit with this book and I for one cannot wait for the next Crown book!

Anaya & Austin's love story is natural & perfect because the Crown Brothers know her mom Mary so that trust is there. However, Austin doesn't know her enough for his kids and he is recovering from nearly losing them...no spoilers. Then their friendship develops more feeling for each other and they start falling love. It was a perfect pace and I love the bound they form as a family not just a couple 💞

Yes this is a delicious age gap romance and I love that they resist at first but once they had that forbidden touch that was it there no stopping 🥵 do not worry ther is some action & suspense too & a rescue mission for...no spoilers

Straight away we pick up were we left off. But it's from Anya POV with her cheating husband and now she off to help Mr Crown with his kids. Really recommend you read Filthy Crown first so youbl will learn more about the Crown Brothers and the world they rules...no spoilers

Trojan Crown is the second book in the Crown Brothers Series by Eleanor Aldrick. This is my first read from Eleanor, but it will definitely not be my last. This book was full of tension and spice, and if anyone knows where I can find a Daddy Austin, let me know. 😉

"Let Daddy lick it and make it feel better."

Anaya has noticed that her husband has been distant lately, feeling unwanted and unloved; she is determined to do whatever she has to get their marriage back to what it used to be. She discovers he has been cheating and storms out of the house; her mother calls her and needs her help. The call comes at a perfect time, so Anaya arrives at the ranch, where her mother has worked for years, and is surprised to learn that she will be watching Austin Crown's children while he is dealing with family issues. At first, Austin is not so friendly to Anaya, but when he sees how she takes care of his kids and how much they adore her, he falls for her.

"There's no secret there, baby girl. My mind, body, and soul are yours for the taking."

I loved the chemistry between Austin and Anaya; it was HOT!! This book had some of my favorite tropes age gap, forbidden love, and such a beautiful happy ending for them! I can't wait to read Sinful Crown when it comes out!
