I've read books 1 and 2 so far. I like them. I am a teacher, and I've taught K-8th grade. I think this is a book older students would enjoy if the parents would allow it due to the violence. I think students who like adventure and gaming would enjoy these. Con - The two books have several typos. Words are spelled wrong or the wrong word is used. As an adult, I understand where the mistakes are and understand what is being conveyed. The interest level of this book is great for an older student who struggles to read as it is an easier read. A student learning to read could struggle with the typos and when the wrong word is used. Another con is that at the end of certain chapters, advertisement of the next chapters being released was left in from the original publishing. It's not awful but could be cleaned up for book release. I did enjoy books 1 & 2 and will probably keep reading. Hire me to edit your translated books!
The author could definitely benefit from an editor but he certainly knows how to keep the story moving. There wasn't a time I wasn't fully engaged. This is written for a younger audience but it moves so well and the characters are interesting enough that older readers can appreciate the work. I'm not personally a fan of the system trope but I find this actually engaging and fun. The the abuse and prejudice is overwhelming and may affect my continuation of the series but I'm enjoying it at the moment.
The story is improving with every book. The plot is moving along at a steady pace with minimal hesitation, back tracking or long expositions. The spelling and grammar still isn't the best but hey, at least I don't need to know about stones and mass releases on a purchased novel this time around! Looking forward to book 3.
I'm really enjoying it, which was unexpected because I'm not usually a fan of vampire stories. However, this fresh take with the gamer and alien twist gives it a whole new vibe
Interesting world concept, good characters. Translation is off in places but I could tell what was intended. Refreshingly different. I would recommend it.
Book is suitable for teen readers and people who enjoy vampire fiction and litrpg. Although quite an easy and somewhat enjoyable read I would not recommend. It is a slow story progression and the books are small. It feels as though you are only left with small scraps of the story. Considering the cost of one book and the sheer quantity that is apart of this series you would be spending hundreds of dollars to make a small dent in the storyline.
