First time when I came across Peter Baker was on YouTube. His tips for improving your voice. I was so struck by his deep resonant voice and his down-to-earth personality that I went on to do his free online course on voiceovers and voice-acting, a completely new field as far as I was concerned. It was excellent and I must say I learned a lot.
This book is an excellent introduction to his world. Of voiceovers and voice-acting. He discusses the business and shares his experience. What to expect and how to go about doing it. It's to-the-point with minimum fluff. But what really shines through is Peter Baker's humility and his genuine desire to help the rookies, in a field of which he is undoubtedly a master.
