This is a great beginners book! There are a lot of explanations and basic information with easy entry-level spells for new witches. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone but beginners since it was so introductory, but that was the purpose! The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because there were some editing problems and repetition where the same sentence would be reprinted in a different format right after the other and might’ve been missed when editing the book as it should’ve been deleted- things like that.

This book was a great resource for me as a beginner. It was very insightful and had plenty of spells for me to try. It taught me a lot about the ins and outs of witchcraft and I can't wait to try some of the spells out.
Highly recommend.

Intriguing and applicable

This was so helpful in breaking down practical magic for a true novice. It gives specific examples of what you should use when casting a spell and gives an interesting history explaining the symbolism behind magical objects. My favorite part was the detailed instructions of house to use a flame for divination. I didn't know that was possible. So cool.

This book is helpful and easy to read. I loved that it was easy to look up the herbs and crystals. Spells were easy to follow and I was able to get everything gathered up before you start a spell.
