Si me piden que elija una novela que defina mi concepto de amor, sin dudas Fanservice Paradox es la elegida. En esta novela acompañamos el crecimiento personal y romántico de Fang Juexia y Pei Tingsong, dos personas que no podrían ser más diferentes pero que en el fondo tienen algo en común: son dos románticos empedernidos.
Fanservice Paradox es una novela que se centra en el mundo del entretenimiento idol, así que tenemos muchas cosas sobre esto: música, grandes presentaciones, fans acosadores, rumores maliciosos, reglas ocultas y mucho más. En esta trama, la autora no tiene miedo de ahondar en el fango de esta industria y de lo cruel que puede llegar a ser; a su vez, nos muestra lo fuerte que es el vínculo entre los artistas y sus fans, y como los artistas son una extensión de los sueños de los fans. Toda persona que haya o este siguiendo a un grupo Idol llegará a amar a Kaleido, un grupo de seis chicos que luchan para ser exitosos pero sin perder su esencia como artistas.
Entonces, ¿por qué dije que está novela define mi concepto sobre el amor? Porque Fang Juexia y Pei Tingsong, la pareja de esta historia, entienden muy bien que son diferentes, que su forma de ver y actuar ante las cosas es diferente, pero aún así aprenden a amar esa diferencia y sobre todo, a respetar su individualidad; sin embargo, también se da una simbiosis entre ambos, ya que de apoco los dos van adquiriendo y aprendiendo características uno del otro. Y como dije anteriormente, los dos son personas románticas pero por distintas situaciones adquirieron una visión negativa del amor. Pei Tingsong: una alma rebelde que no soporta las injusticias, estudiante y admirador de la filosofía, con alma de poeta y un soñador. Fang Juexia: idealista, pragmático y matemático, su vida y emociones son tan rígidas como las ecuaciones más complejas. Es muy interesante y emocionante ver el desarrollo que tienen ambos y el como mantienen su forma de ser, pero al mismo tiempo aprenden uno del otro.
Es una novela linda y emotiva, que causa emociones y sentimientos diversos. Pienso que la autora hace un gran trabajo al desarrollar tanto la trama como a sus personajes, teniendo consistencia en su historia y en lo que quiere mostrar.

i love pei tinsong and fang juexia so much!!!
i thought the characters werent going to be so deep but i was wrong. i really dont care about the plot, only the characters, in this story no one disappointed me, the protagonists are excellent and the secondary characters too, they all have interesting stories, they all have a marked personality, and most importantly, all the characters have outstanding development and growth.
i love pei tinsong and fang juexia so much!!!

i feel like my review was kinda harsh, so im gonna try to write down my thoughts again. The novel was good but i don't think it was for me.
We follow this boyband that is starting to gain popularity because the fans start shipping two of the members due to a video that was leaked, and so, we start to get to know these characters as they try to follow their dreams.
The two main characters were very well written and developed, but that highlighted how the other members of the band were there just to be comedic relieves and ship the mcs together, not having very much depth.
Overall the novel was fun, i had a silly goofy time reading this but the thing is... i didn't know where this was going??? i guess the plot was just following the characters on their rise to fame, and that didn't captivate me to stay till the end.
However, i still recomend this novel if you are looking for a cute, slowburn, well-developed romance. The two main characters are worth reading and the story is HILARIOUS at times (the haunted house part had me laughing out loud). give it a try if you think this could be your thing!!

I finished this yesterday, and I didn't know what to say in my review. Today I'm still out of words. I'll try to summarize how I feel about the book, but I don't promise it'll make sense 😂.
I devoured the novel, and I loved every second of it. This is, without a doubt, one of the best-written danmei I've read. I stopped and reread entire conversations, just to make sure I caught all the meanings behind each word. I probably can quote from memory some parts. That's how far my obsession reaches.
This beautifully written love story captivated me. I fell in love with the main characters and their relationship. The way they matured and became better versions of themselves and the manner they started to complement each other was expertly done. I love their sweet affections. It made me feel single but now, I don't think I can conform to anything less than what those two had.
My mood right now: I didn't want the book to end 😭!!!!

Creo que es el libro con la relación más sana que he leído en mucho tiempo, y por lo mismo creo que es el punto más fuerte de la novela y lo que más me gusto de ella.
Y es que simplemente la relación de estos dos chicos, es a lo que todes deberíamos aspirar en el mundo real. Su amor no es aquel que restringe y duele, sino que es aquel que te hace crecer como persona, es un tipo de amor que te hace querer cambiar no solo por el bien de la otra persona, sino que también—y especialmente— por ti mismo, que te deja liberarte y ser tú mismo. Es sumamente dulce y enternecedor, y no por ello deja de ser pasional (muy buen smut 👌).
Sin embargo, siento que todo lo que no fuera el Tingjue se queda corto y es por eso que mientras leía me aburrí en muchas ocasiones y pensé varias veces en sí debería continuar o no. Me hubiera gustado que los demás miembros del grupo tuvieran más relevancia o por lo menos un poco de tridimensionalidad, ya que al fin y al cabo la historia también trataba sobre como Kaleido llegó a pasar de un don nadie a uno de los grupos más famosos, y si hay algo que me gusta de historias de boygroups es ese sentimiento de familia encontrada que tienen, me hubiera encantado ver estos lazos entre los demás miembros, porque el potencial estaba ahí (y por ello mismo ame los extras de Jiang Miao y He Ziyan).
Al final, me di cuenta que este tipo de historias no son realmente lo mío (tipo slice of life, dónde no hay mucho drama o acción), pero creo que está bastante bien escrito y vale la pena leerlo si te gustan este tipo de historias.

Mi capítulo favorito sin duda es cuando se hace pública su relación, y es que se me llenaron los ojos de lágrimas verlos en la marcha del orgullo y como en la misma marcha en medio del mar de gente PTS le pidió matrimonio en el momento en que se hizo legal el matrimonio igualitario, incluso ahora recordándolo me empiezan escocer los ojos, fue muy emotivo.
Pd: te amo china alterna con derechos para los gays.

Fanservice-Paradox es una de las historias más hermosas que he leído en mi vida, la manera en la que la autora escribe es simplemente magnífica, lo he dicho varias veces pero YO LEO esta historia Y ME SIENTO ENAMORADA. Hay frases tan hermosas que hicieron que saltara de mi cama de la emoción y que me latiera rápido el corazón... Fang Juexia y Pei Tingsong se aman de una forma tan uggh CÓMO DECIRLO!!? TAN ROMÁNTICA, TAN ÚNICA, TAN INIGUALABLE!!!
ES QUE YO QUEDÉ IMPRESIONADA POR LA MANERA EN LA QUE ESTOS DOS SE AMAN!! Si Pei Tingsong me dejaba en el piso con las frases de amor que se lanzaba (digno de un filósofo) Fang Juexia me llevó a otro planeta por CÓMO SE EXPRESABA MATEMÁTICAMENTE DIOS

i like the complexity of fang juexia and peng tingsong. their thoughts and moarls, how they view life through mathematics and philosophy.
there are some cute good scenes that had me screaming crying jumping off balcony
the writing pacing… welp
there were so many scenarios/arc scenes that was soooo unnecessary long. the other members are so flat contribute nothing to the plot and dynamic. literally kept interrupting the touching scenes. the lack of overarching plot, shit comes up shit resolved, pretty predictable.

I thought I would like this a lot more than I actually did.
It’s about a boyband called Kaleido and the relationship between its two members, Fang Juexia and Pei Tingsong.
The main characters were forced to do fanservice to promote their band and music.
I read a lot of boyband fanfics a few years ago, so maybe that’s why I’m not really getting into this one. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I enjoy reading right now. I’m dropping this 8%.

This is my second Zhichu novel and I'm 100% a fan. I love stories with good characterization and character growth, and this is something she does a fantastic job at.

I loved both Pei Tingsong and Fang Juexia and their whole relationship as it does a 180. Initially a CP that was purely for fanservice became the real deal, and each stage of their relationship develops naturally. We learn why PTS disliked FJX for the first two years and see them go from indifferent teammates at best to friends to lovers after they start interacting more and their opinions of each other gradually change.
There's so many things I loved about their relationship. They both come from broken or dysfunctional families and thus are very jaded about true love. It was sweet to see them slowly overcome their mental blocks around this and realize how they truly feel about each other. There were so many cute moments where they help each other, both as friends and lovers, like with FJX's night blindness and fear of heights while bungee jumping. They also complement each other well, with FJX being very quiet and logical (thanks to his mathematics background) and PTS being much more eloquent and outspoken.
The way Zhichu described PTS as the sole source of disorder in FJX's clean and organized world and how he kept disrupting FJX's precise internal clock was a really interesting insight into FJX's character before PTS entered. Zhichu fleshes out his character really well, and I think he undergoes the biggest character growth of all characters. Because of PTS's support, FJX is able to get the courage and confidence to do so much that he would've shied away from before. I felt like a proud mama when he released a statement about what happened with his dad and admitted the truth about his night blindness.
There were so many emotional scenes in this book. Of course there's the whole ordeal with FJX's dad which was so emotionally hard for him to recover from, but I can't believe there are scum online who would try to blackmail him with this story afterwards as well. On more positive thoughts, FJX's mother is lovely and it was again a very touching moment when he comes out to her and she wants to make sure he's absolutely sure he knows what he's doing with PTS. The letter she wrote afterwards to PTs asking him to take care of FJX had me tearing up a bit.

"Fanservice Paradox" by Zhichu follows the story of two idols, who didn't like each other at all for 2 years while being together in a idol group, who start off pretending to be very close and intimate for their fans (fanservice), but then actually fall for each other. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this book gives major fanfiction vibes—so I think fans of fanfic will really enjoy it! For me, it took a little time to get into. I used to read fanfactions but it has been years since and I kinda got over it.
One of the highlights is how much effort Zhichu put into capturing the idol world, from the fan culture to the intense behind-the-scenes moments. There’s this reality show called "Escape for Your Life" (correct me if I’m wrong on the title!) that the two main characters take part in, and the setup for it was fantastic. It felt super well thought-through, you could tell the author put a lot of thought into how it would play out, which I loved.
The supporting characters, especially the other members of the idol group, were such a fun addition. However the other members felt more like background characters. They seemed to mostly serve as comic relief or as cheerleaders for the main couple, without much substance or development of their own. I wish we got to know them a bit better—more backstory or deeper connections would have made their scenes more enjoyable.
When it comes to the main romance, I have mixed feelings. Pei, one of the main characters, was refreshingly open and honest, which meant there weren’t any of the classic miscommunication tropes that can get tiring in romance stories. But I kind of wanted a little more tension and banter between the two before they got together to keep things exciting. The way their relationship developed was cute, but I was just craving a bit more spark.
As for the plot, it was enjoyable but a bit aimless. The story mostly follows the characters on their path to fame, and while it was entertaining at times, there wasn’t a strong central storyline to pull me all the way through. It almost felt like a slice-of-life drama, which can be great, but it lacked that extra hook to keep me completely invested until the end.
About halfway through, I found myself starting to lose interest. I’m not sure why; it just felt like certain parts dragged on or some aspects weren’t fully hitting the mark. Some parts of the story felt super well-thought-out, while others seemed to be missing that same depth or just felt stretched out.
Overall, Fanservice Paradox has some great moments, especially for anyone who loves the idol world or fanfic vibes.

[‘Fermat’s Theorem’ and ‘The Roots of Romanticism’ finally intersect.]
Well, that was a ride! I'm not sure how to start my review because looking back, I started reading this one last year during the last week of November. I was in the trenches of my midterm and it sucks so bad so I wanted to read something sweet or fluffy. I'm not really a big fan of modern stories but this one really hit my spot! Good god they made me scream, giggle, blush, and kick my feet in the air! What's more amazing is that their love isn't something rushed or forced. They really had a proper foundation and it was so nice to watch them bloom towards each other. I'm just so happy for them.
I so love Kaleido! Each and every character have their own strengths and they're not just accessories for our TingJue, I really liked that. Especially Ling Yi, our son! I'm also surprised that He Ziyan is canonically a pansexual! Miaomiao is such a fundamental member and Lu Yuan is a cutie. In addition to this, I am so happy for Liang Ruo, he deserves all the love.
If I think about it there's not really like deep DEEP conflicts in the book, but the conflicts given were really significant in a way that it can boil over the story. Pei Tingsong and Fang Juexia's characters go hand and hand with each other. Their developments and the way they were portrayed is enough to make me smile. Pei Tingsong is such a coaxed little devil! Fang Juexia is the most precious in the world!
Philosophical and mathematical concepts often compliment each other and they're always somehow tied with each other. The author's intros and representations of these notions are really good. I, for one, love to study philosophy. In addition to this, I'm taking Differential Equations this semester. Juexia's explanation with his differentiable concept in life is very nice and the way he connected it with his relationship with Xiao Pei just melted my heart. Good for them, good for them!

Wow. I really like Zhichu's books. Can't wait to devour other works by author. Zhichu's dedication to world-building/ plot development is absolutely amazing and applaudable. I've only read this and Lovely Allergen but it's apparent to me that author is really in love with her books and its characters.
We see the growth of MC and ML in this novel, slowly climbing up and standing strong against all odds and adversities. As the premise of the book is based on MC and ML being an idol group, their band mates also faces such conditions and slowly all of them prove their worth.
The book has some emphasis/ plot based on mathematics theorem and philosophy. Really have to salute author as well as the translator (Juurensha) for their amazing research to present all of it in the novel. Not only that, there are also original poems and songs. Like wow?!?!?
really enjoyed reading this amazing novel and being able to imagine myself as one of the Weibo fans. also I really liked reading Zhichu's comments after every chapter and to me, it improved my reading experience.
4/5 may read again. but tbh, I do prefer Lovely allergen slightly more.

Overall I liked the story and the characters, but I think that the translation made it difficult to get a clear idea of what’s happening, and I had to skip many times parts.
I also found some parts were too long in my opinion, however I think this story is very suitable for a graphic novel, so I will follow the currently outgoing one.
Lastly, it might just be because of my own personal taste and/or translation, but I did not always approve how some **** turned out. And it does play a role in my rating. But if you read the censored version it’s still a really nice love story tbh.

Read another one of Zhichu’s works because I like her writing. Though for this novel she wrote, I initially found it frustrating because the paragraphs would jump from one scene to another, with no closing, & no opening, and I would have to reread it several times to check if I missed out any. For example, in the earlier paragraph, it was describing how PTS is feeling. Suddenly on the next paragraph, it’d be about the program they would be participating. But there were more pros than cons.
Firstly, the conversations between the ml and mc are full of substance and depth. Both of their thought process are quite deep. It shows how educated the author is which made me feel glad I picked this up. Philosophy is one of my fave subjects during my university days, so I found Pei Tingsong’s words quite interesting. On the other hand, math is my most hated subject since I can remember, and I found it hard to understand Fang Juexia’s words mixed with mathematical terms and meanings. It took me a long time to fully understand his way of thinking. But this just made me admire the author more. Also, it wasn’t enough that she mentioned philosophical and mathematical terms and logic, she even added art to it.
Second, there was one part where FJX said he wasn’t chosen to be a dancer because of his birth mark and the author didn’t fully explain it so I will explain it here. I tweeted this on my Twitter also. “It’s not the birthmark, that’s just a reason they gave. The truth is, a dancer cannot be attention-grabbing, ‘coz they might take the spotlight away from the main lead/s. FJX was born to be on stage with a strong stage presence. That’s why he wasn’t picked as a dancer.” Even in reality, the word ‘idol’ is quite vague, so I was glad the author allowed her characters to express what being an idol is truly about.
Third, the author likes assigning themes to her novels and it added more flavor to it. I’ve only read two of her works so far. Lovely Allergen’s theme was food, and the Fanservice Paradox theme is nature. Curious about the themes of her other novels.
Fourth, there were a lot of hilarious scenes that made me laugh out loud uncontrollably. I even scared my daughter who was sleeping next to me. Haha.
Fifth, the author’s build up of the boy band Kaleido was great. She even wrote lyrics for this inexistent band. I wonder if she actually followed idols for this? Her own idol marketing strategy was quite on point. Aside from the fanservice, Kaleido’s different changes to their stage performance are a good technique to always keep their group’s name known and talked about. If Kaleido is an in real life idol boy group, I would definitely attend their concert, and even buy VIP tickets to get the front row seat. I listened to their songs in the FP audio drama and got hooked. Love each and every one of their songs. I am officially a domino!
Lastly, the smut scenes were amazing! PTS was so straightforward I experienced a couple of secondhand embarrassment from it. Hehe.
Overall, it was an interesting and educational read; and definitely one of my faves now. The ending of the main story was just right, and the extras were better than I expected, especially the WaterFire extra. Though it was quite long for an extra and it really did feel like reading a short novel. 😂
PS. There were characters from the author’s other novels mentioned in this novel.
PPS. I read the English translations and I got to say, I have to give my applause to Juurensha for translating Fanservice Paradox. This novel isn’t easy to translate at all. The use of difficult English terms in the translation was quite astonishing. I’m not sure if those are the exact words used by the author or by the translator. Either way, both did well with this writing. 👏🏻

This book is like having vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce in the offset of spring and incoming winter.
It's an extremely enthralling read… to the point where I was unable to sleep for a few days until I flipped to the last page.
Many might describe this novel to have great character development and growth (which is what pulled me in to read this), but little did I know, the growth part wasn't limited to the characters of the book alone, but extended to me as well. My thoughts grew as I read it and what more is needed to be said to praise this book apart from this?

DNF'ed at the end of chapter 76 (so around maybe 63% of the main story, not counting extras past chapter 120).
I think it was fine. It just wasn't what I wanted or expected, and I think that was definitely on me. When I had the novel pitched to me initially, I was expecting something kind of more serious than what I got. Like, I thought the story would be kind of grounded in the everyday/depressing realism of the entertainment industry with Kaleido's struggles as a boy group in the entertainment industry with, of course, a focus on Fang Juexia (MC) and Pei Tingsong (ML), but also with a very hopeful vibe to it. This is especially because everyone was raving about how FJX and PTS speak about their lives through their respective frameworks of mathematics and philosophy, but lol, lmao. No. This novel is very, very much your typical entertainment danmei, with maybe just a little more depth than usual. The translator did very well, the translation was great to read. But yeah, the novel wasn't exactly giving literary, thought-provoking ideas about idols, lol; it was all pretty surface level discourse you'd see on Kpop twitter.

Sinceramente, necesitaba un poco de fluff y refrescarme la memoria de estos personajes tan espectaculares; creo que ya llene la cuota necesaria, así que ahora quiero continuar con mis lecturas anteriores (en especial MoDu).
Un detalle que quiero comentar es lo bien hecha que están las metáforas (en especial, toda la sesión de fotos de Spring-Winter) y cómo es todo un foreshadowing de toda la relación TingJue T_T cómo los quiero, mis niños dulces...
No puedo dejar de apreciar lo gracioso que es, la buena descripción de eventos (fansigns, performances, variety shows, etc) y lo accurate que son también jsjs. Siento que soy parte del público y grito como si de verdad estuviera viendo a mi Juexia bailando, a Tingsong haciendo freestyle o a mi Ziyan siendo cool y lanzando barras~ (Si, tengo un bias de un grupo inventado y ese es Ziyan, Er-Huo, cuál hay ¬-¬).
De verdad son idols que stanearía y me duele que no existan T-T
Ahora quiero escuchar el audio drama, en parte por eso lo dejé a medias; para terminar de escuchar la historia con las preciosas voces de los actores de voz~

RELECTURA 18/9/23 a 23/9/23: DNF cap. 78
Sinceramente, necesitaba un poco de fluff y refrescarme la memoria de estos personajes tan espectaculares; creo que ya llene la cuota necesaria, así que ahora quiero continuar con mis lecturas anteriores (en especial MoDu).
Un detalle que quiero comentar es lo bien hecha que están las metáforas (en especial, toda la sesión de fotos de Spring-Winter) y cómo es todo un foreshadowing de toda la relación TingJue T_T cómo los quiero, mis niños dulces...
No puedo dejar de apreciar lo gracioso que es, la buena descripción de eventos (fansigns, performances, variety shows, etc) y lo accurate que son también jsjs. Siento que soy parte del público y grito como si de verdad estuviera viendo a mi Juexia bailando, a Tingsong haciendo freestyle o a mi Ziyan siendo cool y lanzando barras~ (Si, tengo un bias de un grupo inventado y ese es Ziyan, Er-Huo, cuál hay ¬-¬).
De verdad son idols que stanearía y me duele que no existan T-T
Ahora quiero escuchar el audio drama, en parte por eso lo dejé a medias; para terminar de escuchar la historia con las preciosas voces de los actores de voz~

Pei tingsong and fang juexia ended up being my favourite characters ever, the reason this book took a long time to complete was how beautiful every page was, their bond atp start, their development.. it's just like enemies to something going on between us to lovers.
A relationship starting from fanservice (my favourite genre as a fangirl of years), every confession, every question..their support for each other and their respect for each other and the songs written by the band and the bond between the band was delight to read, it felt like I was in the book itself, interacting with them.
Pei tingsong and his philosophical words can make a person ponder about certain things..his theory on ship of thesus.

เราชอบสนพ.ไอริสในส่วนของงานปก, การเลือกพล็อต , แปลดี และคำผิดน้อย ตอนได้ยินกระแสเรื่องนี้ตั้งแต่ประกาศ LC ก็ค่อนข้างแปลกใจเพราะนิยายวายแนวไอดอลมีออกมาเยอะมาก แต่หลังอ่านเล่มแรกจบก็ถึงบางอ้อ มีแนวโน้มว่าเรื่องนี้จะเป็นแนวไอดอลและวายแปลจีนแนวปัจจุบันที่ถูกใจเราที่สุดในปีนี้เพราะ
...พล็อตดีมาก เป็นเรื่องราวของบอยแบนด์ "คาไลโด" ที่ปังตอนเดบิวต์เพราะทั้ง 6 มบ.หน้าตาดี โดยเฉพาะคู่เมนเซ็นเตอร์ #ฟางเจวี่ยเซี่ย นายเอกที่หน้าตาและผิวพรรณดีขั้นสุด มีจุดเด่นตรงปานแดงที่หางตา บุคลิกเย็นชา เคยเป็นเดือนคณะ เคยเกือบจะได้เดกับค่ายเพลงใหญ่แต่เกิดปัญหาและข่าวลือจนลาออกมาอยู่ค่ายเพลงเล็ก ควบตำแหน่งเมนร้อง+เต้น+วิชวล ฝ่ายน้องเล็กที่ตัวโตสุดเพราะสูง 188ซม. #เผยทิงซ่งหรือเสี่ยวเผย เด็กเส้นแบ็คหนา ABC (american born chineses) เป็นเด็กดื้อวัยต่อต้ายครอบครัว ชอบฮิปฮอปใต้ดิน จนถูกทางบ้านพากลับจีนมาฝากไว้กับค่ายเพลง เป็นเซ็นเตอร์ควบเมนแร็ปที่ไม่ถูกกับนายเอกตลอด 2 ปีที่ผ่านมาจนกระทั่งเกิดคลิปตามภาพปกที่สร้างกระแสในโซเชียลจนทางค่ายให้สร้างกระแสต่อเนื่องโดยการเป็นคู่ชิป มีไลฟ์และวาไรตี้ติดจามการใช้ชีวิตประจำวัน ทำให้พระเอกที่เป็นนศ.ปรัชญาต้องย้ายมาอยู่หอพักเดียวกันกับพี่ๆและได้มีโอกาสเปิดใจศึกษาความต่างที่เหมือนมีกำแพงกั้นของคู่ชิปหน้าสวย ในส่วนของงานบันเทิงมีความแตกต่างจากเรื่องอื่นที่มักจะเป็นดาราหรือนายแบบที่โดดเด่นแค่ตัวพระนาย แต่เรื่องนี้มีความเป็นบอยแบนด์แบบ Kpop ที่ต้องกระจายบทและความสามารถให้คู่รองในทีมได้อย่างพอเหมาะ เราชอบความสามัคคีและมีเอกลักษณ์ของมบ.เป็นอย่างมาก ไลฟ์เล่นเกม การทำงานเพลงและวาไรตี้อดนึกถึงบังทันไม่ได้เลยจริงๆ พระเอกทรงอย่างแบดเป็นหลุมดำครองทุกความแพ้ยกเว้นเกมส่งกระดาษลูกอมที่สร้างกระแสคู่ชิปพุ่งทะยานเพราะการคว้าคอนายเอก mouth to mouth เพราะอยากชนะเกม ผองเพื่อนในทีมก็เป็นเรือหลักทั้งนั้นนนน ครึ่งแรกของเล่มจะชอบความน่ารักของทีมนี้ พอมาถึงกลางเล่มที่ได้โอกาสขึ้นสเตจงานแสดงสดสิ้นปีก็ทำให้ยิ่งชอบความรู้ใจในการพลิกวิกฤตเป็นโอกาสจนทำให้เวทีแทบจะกลายเป็นคอนเสิร์ตและทำให้คนที่ชมอยู่ทางบ้านต้องทึ่งในน้ำเสียงและการโชว์ที่มีพลังของวงที่เคยถูกมองข้ามเพราะเซนเตอร์มีข่าวลบและไม่มีสปอนเซอร์ใหญ่สนับสนุน ครึ่งเล่มหลังถึงจะเป็นความพีคขึ้นเรื่อยๆของเนื้อเรื่องที่เน้นไปที่ความสัมพันธ์ของพระนาย
เดิมทีพระนายไม่ถูกกันเพราะเคยขัดคอกันในเรื่องความคิดเห็น หลัวจากนั้นนายเอกมักจะเป็นฝ่ายนิ่งและหลบเลี่ยง ฝ่ายพระเอกที่มีอคติเพราะข่าวลือก็หาเรื่องกวนโอ๊ยบ้างเป็นครั้งคราว จุดเปลี่ยนเริ่มต้นขึ้นจากการที่เสี่ยวเผยช่วยนายเอกจากการถูกผู้กำกับรายการข่มขู่ให้ใช้ร่างกายแลกกับการไม่ถูกถอดจากรายการวาไรตี้ เราชอบการคีพลุคและธีม Paradox ของคู่นี้ขั้นสุด นายเอกที่ดูเย็นชานิ่งเฉย เป็นคนเรียบง่ายจริงจัง ชอบคณิตศาสตร์และสารคดี แต่พออ่านๆไปจะรู้ว่านายเอกอ่อนโยน ใจดี ใส่ใจรายละเอียดเล็กๆน้อยๆ รู้จักวางตัว มีปมในอดีตที่ทำให้คนอ่านและพระเอกต้องทึ่งถึงความเป๊ะ อดทนแต่รู้จักปล่อยวางที่นายเอกต้องสั่งสมมาตั้งแต่เด็ก เค้าทำให้งานถ่ายแบบของพี่ฟางสมกับเป็นฤดูหนาว แต่ก็ทำให้เห็นมุมขี้อ้อนของเด็กน้อยฟางตอนเมาได้อย่างน่ารัก และแสดงให้เห็นความเฉียบคมในความคิดในการร่วมเสนอไอเดียถ่ายแบบและมีข้แโต้แย้งในการสัมภาษณ์ ตรงจุดนี้อ่านแล้วชอบมาก เหมือนได้ฟังพระนายเปิดเวทีอภิปรายมุมมองที่แตกต่างกันโดยไม่มีใครผิดหรือถูก
...อีกจุดนึงที่ชอบมากคืองานแปลที่ดี ทั้งในส่วนของคำแสลงในสื่อโซเชียล เนื้อเพลงของวง คำพ้องเสียงพ้องรูปที่เจ้าของภาษาเค้าอามาใช้เล่นคำค่อนข้างบ่อย ยังมีบรรดาบทกวีและงานประพันธ์จากภาษาต่างประเทศที่พระนายเค้าพูดถึง ถ้าแปลไม่ดีจะเป็นเล่มที่อ่านแล้วงงแน่นอน งานปกหน้าหลังก็สะดุดตา สรุปว่าชอบเรื่องนี้มากๆ
