When Your Heart And Head Isn't Aligned!
Well ladies that cliffhanger wasn't what I was expecting at all. Now, this review is only in my opinion and if you've been blessed to never have dealt with a bum ninja before I tip my hat to you. For those of us that have this book fits a few women and men at some time or another.
Lexi, wanted to be loved so bad she allowed Dre to treat her however he thought, I think it was more her self esteem than anything else, just because she had money that didn't matter. One thing is for certain people treat you as you allow them to treat you without apology.
Lexi mom was a piece of work, although I related more to her and Raven than the other ladies. I refused to catch feelings and as long as the money was good than you could do whatever you wanted to do just take care of home and keep your shenanigans in the streets. How wrong was that although Raven didn't care about what she was doing to the other person one day she will slip.
Lexi should've know how she met Dre and the drama in the beginning she should've run, but he showed her attention and she wanted to believe he cared for her. She's left looking like a fool and the sad thing is Dre is still gonna do whatever he wants to do to the next woman.
Nivea was Lexi's cousin, best friend and maybe sister I don't know but wouldn't be surprised at all. Nivea had buzzards luck also when it came to men. She had her own bag her own car her own house and she had a son by a nothing ninja. She should have run after the first time she caught him in a lie or for the fact that she gave him everything and he couldn't even watch his seed. But she was thinking with her heart and her lady parts not her head.
Kyree did what he wanted to do until Nivea finally was done! Once your done it doesn't matter what happens your finished. It usually will cost you something and it's usually a lot and all you were doing was being loyal to somebody that didn't deserve your loyalty at all.
I look at the situation between Lexi and Nevea's moms it is something going on between them I wonder is Lexi and Nivea sister's? The secret is gonna come out I just hope the girls can move on and learn to love themselves so that when the next man comes along they think with their heads and not their lady parts or their hearts.

Oh wow! I wasn't shocked about what Raven revealed at the end. I swear Nivea and Lexi accepted anything from Kyree and Dre. Kyree and Dre both knew they were dealing with paid chicks and used them until they no longer could. Apparently broke D is amazing but Nivea and Lexi were all kinds of dumb with all the facts in their face. Ebony was just as dumb and I hope she gets what she deserves for lying. Kyree really exhausted all his options and I feel as though there's more about Lisa. Raven will get enough of using people and the way Lexi is set up I hope she doesn't continue to fall for bs. Dre can definitely kick rocks along with Kyree.

Great Read
This book was great. I know a lot of readers may say how dumb and naive Lexi and Nivea are but who am I to judge when I've went through the same things a time or two. I hope Lexi and Nivea find them a man who loves them for them and not what they can do for them. Raven otta be ashamed of herself, but what happens in the dark always comes to the light. I hope she meets her match. I gotta feeling that even tho Lexi and Nivea are cousins, they sisters to. 💌💌

I never right a bad review, but this book just didn’t do it for me. I understand that as a female we have to learn our worth, but it took them WAY to long for me. I truly apologize for writing this and giving you three stars, I appreciate and respect your craft.

These ladies really captured what a lot of women go through everyday! Thank you for giving a voice and new viewpoint of the situation! Dre is The King of The broke D**k Crew! But MS. Raven! WOW...it's crazy how a person can see themselves in characters in a book. I have definitely been these characters once upon a time, but thank God for growth. Hopefully part 2 will show growth in these ladies because some of them are crazy!!!!!!!!

This book held my attention I hate how it made the girls look. I don't get females like this and never will.. Like don't you see your worth. What makes a female want to settle for something like this and see that you deserve so much more than to be somebody's walking mat. Let me stop be for I get pissed off. Say man this ain't it. I just know Raven ain't like these no good little boys. I'm looking at Kyree and Dre. Bj just might be own to something with questioning her. Don't let me forget Ebony she's another Raven. This book is describes exactly goes on in in a lot of relationships today. I'm glad nivea found her voice and kicked kyree out the house his actions had me even upset. Lexi need more will power and her father to check dre. As for raven I hope she gets what's coming to her for using the wrong man. I really enjoyed this book and the drama that followed the lives of these two successful women. Once you know better you do better.

Going through these pages these women was going through it for good D for real. Lexi was going through it but something told me Dre was lying again idiot. Nivea I knew she would finally give up but Kyree was foul for letting her do everything and not help. I’m thinking I’m mean in saying he got what he deserved. The title definitely fits this book. It describes the storyline and these characters. All these men were so sorry and only think with the wrong head. These women were so dumb, gullible and naive.
