Shay’s trust has been broken, and she knows she’s worth more than that. For once, she’s going to do what’s right for her and go against others’ expectations, even if that means it will change the dreams she had of a future with Nathan. But help comes when she least expects it.
Nathan is used to getting what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it. But this time, he comes up against a problem he has no hope of solving, not without asking for help. What happens when no one wants to help?
Fight (Shay #4) is a exciting episode in the Shay and Nathan love saga. As with each episode I'm drawn in from the beginning and cannot put it down till I finished reading. A emotional roller coaster of emotions are sewn into the storyline. I love the relationships between the characters and the supporting ones and how they strive on eachothers strengths. And it Zoe Adams fashion a banger of a cliffhanger. Looking forward to reading what's next.
Fight by Zoe Adams Published: September 7, 2021 Zoe Adams via Amazon I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.
Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love. A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye for exciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold, unapologetic love for love itself.
“What the eyes don’t see, the heart doesn’t grieve over.”
Shay thinks she did the right thing with Nathan, but the fallout has left her sad. Sasha has found her true love in Alex after reconnecting as adults. As their birthday draws nearer, they are both in for the surprise of a lifetime.
This installment was so much sweeter than I expected. I am loving how emotionally involved this series is becoming. Sasha was quite the lead in this book, and I enjoyed it. The arc of her character is truly remarkable. She has grown so much, and she is finally becoming a character you can fall in love with.
The struggle Shay and Nathan experience in this book is so raw, and they are both so vulnerable. I enjoyed watching them both give each other the truth about their relationship.
This book ended on an intense cliffhanger. I cannot wait for the next book. This could be the change we’ve all been waiting for!
This is a well written book with strong characters in Shay and Nathan. The author does a fantastic job bringing all the feels as she moves their story forward. It's an emotional read with their struggling relationship. Her scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves quickly and smoothly. I was glued to the pages right to the end and still left with wanting more with the cliffhanger ending. I'm looking forward to the next book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Shay pushes Nathan away and they split for some time. This was dramatic and so intense. The void in the romance and the story was sad due to the split. But things were not as they seemed as in a lot of good romances. Due to misunderstanding what was going on, they couldn't seem to get it together. But their connection was still strong. This was a great addition to the series and can't wait to see what happens in the final book. This was an ARC and this was my honest review.
