A fast paced novel featuring Shadow aka Craig's story including his past. Bloome is a witch and sassy character. Someone is killing vampires and the Nighthawks has to step in with the help of Bloome. A good shot of passion and sparks between Shadow and Bloome. A wedding bonus when Viper finally got married to MyAnna. Easy reading.

If you like steamy vampire stories than this book is for you.
We first meet Shadow in Viper (Nighthawks MC #1). In this book we dig deep and learn about Shadow, and his past, which is a rough one. I thought that how he got his name was very intriguing. Shadow’s book is just another book that sucks you in and wish the book was longer. I very much enjoyed this book as I loved the first in this series.
Once again, the author, C.J. Pinard, has never let me down. She didn’t let me down with this one.

So I plugged into this right away since having read the first one. This one centers around Craig "Shadow" is help found this unusual MC. He has that name for a reason. Those good ole secrets come into play also. No relationship tempted him until he meets Bloome. Such a witch as her she would fit fine for him. Thanks though to War on the horizon turn the pages to see if they dare begin and if could brave it all.

Shadow did not disappoint! I loved how we get to see his back story and how he came to be the vampire he is. This story was fast paced, entertaining and completely hot! The story flowed and the chapters about his past were done in such a way I didn't feel like it detracted from the story but enhanced it. You will fall in love with all of these men and their women. Bloome or "red" lol is the perfect blend of sass and charm. I can not wait to see what's next for the Nighthawks.

Shadow is mysterious and can get from here to there in a snap, literally. When he starts to snoop around to seek a witch that’s gone rogue he meets Bloome who is a witch that sparks something in him he thought was long dead. Together sparks fly but can they eventually get along and figure out who is killing vampires randomly.

C.J never lets me down when I need a good steamy romance. Shadow was one that I could finish in a day. You dont want to put this one down! All the Nighthawks so far have been thrilling and sexy! Grab your favorite drink and other items, you will need them reading this one! 10 out of 10! Will be reading again!

A steamy vampires story that you will enjoy. I liked book 1 better but this is still a good story. I’m looking forward to the next book. It’s fast paced and you get to see how shadow becomes a vampire. I can’t put my finger on it but for some reason I just liked viper more…. lol

Ah!! Loved this book!! It was so good.. ok so after book one I was a little skeptical about the second being as good but this one blew me out of the water. I was not expecting some of the things that happened. Great read, can’t wait for the next book.

okay read
An okay read. Liked the main characters and there was a good plot to the story. Would have liked a bit more information about the witches and what happens going forward. Liked the retribution but felt the witch input was nominal. Good read.

OMG, I Love this Series
Shadow's story is great. Again, I loved all the history in the book as to why the MMC is the way he is in the present. Absolutely adored the FMC, and the entire book is slightly too short but is awesome nonetheless. I just wanted it to go on forever, lol.

Love this series♥️ Shadow and Bloome are made for each other!!! As with book one it’s full of drama, action and excitement mixed with some romance. Can’t wait to see where the series takes us next!!

If your into Hot Vampire stories jump into this series. You will fall in love with Shadow imagining yourself as bloom!! I love that it is fast paced and keeps you interested in whats to come next learning about Shadows backstory was also a nice addition to the book! I cant wait for the next one.
