These three gorgeous mages have met their match.

As one of the best fighters in Boston’s underground MMA ring, I love taking down cocky men who think a woman can’t possibly beat them.

That is, until the day I throw a punch and hit my opponent with magic instead of my fist. Turns out, I’m Magic Blessed, a human with powers gifted by the gods.

As part of my magical training, I have to compete in a deadly magical game to prove my worth. And to survive, I’ll need to team up with three sexy, infuriating men.

Lachlan, the motorcycle riding Irishman who’ll go toe-to-toe with me in a way that shouldn’t be a turn-on… but totally is.

Trace, the bad boy rock star with tattoos I want to lick and an oversized ego I want to deflate.

And Merrick, the ex-boyfriend I ran from when things got too real—and who hates me for breaking his heart.

We may be on the same team, but the real question is: will we manage to win this game before the insane chemistry between us kills us all first?

This omnibus contains the complete Magic Blessed Academy series, a paranormal enemies-to-lovers romance where the heroine will end up with three men. It contains cursing and lots of steam.

I Own Each Book Individually, This is the Boxset.
In this Review Each Book has been Individually Rated & Reviewed, and then I will Give this Book an Overall Rating.

I Give this Series a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 5.

This is a pretty good series, I do wish that there was a little bit more at the ending of this series, but that’s just me being a greedy reader 😆

Book 1: Gift of the Gods
I Give this Book a 4/5 Star Rating.

Format Read: Audiobook & Ebook.

Cliffhanger(?): Yes! I wonder what the heck is going to happen next!
Heat: 3.5-4/5
Drama: 4/5
Suspense: 3.5/5
Romance: 3.5/5
Relationship Type: Reverse Harem > MFMM

Audio Review: 4/5
The Voice Actor is Female, I was surprised she did some pretty good Male Voices, much better than I was expecting. But her voice is very calm so in some areas of the ‘audio’book, the characters emotions weren’t exuding properly.

No Spoilers.
This is a pretty good series, if I say to much then it just gives the book away!
I’m going to jump into Book 2 Now.

Book 2: Secret of the Gods

I Give This Book a 4.5/5 Star Rating Listing as 4.

Cliffhanger(?): Absolutely! Going to Jumping into Book 3 Now!
Romance: 4-4.5/5
Heat: 4.5/5
Drama: 4.5/5
Suspense: 4-4.5/5
Relationship Type: Reverse Harem > MFMM

Book Formats Read: Audiobook
Audiobook Rating: 4.5/5
Compared to the first book with this Narrator, this one is MUCH better, Aria as a character was voiced with more emotion and I’m glad about that.

This was a really good book, going to reading book 3 after writing this review.
There is a bit of repetitive-ness in regards to how Aria felt about Eden, even in Book 1.
You really notice it when your listening to through an Audiobook.

Book 3: Wrath of the Gods

I Give this Book a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 5.

HEA(?): Yes
Romance: 4.5/5
Heat: 4.5/5
Drama: 4.5/5
Suspense: 4-4.5/5
Relationship Type: Reverse Harem > MFMM
Reading Format: Audiobook

I Give this Audiobook a 4.5/5 Star Rating.

No Spoilers!
This was a great book, and I love the ending. I would love to see more future students get books at this academy!

This was a good book that I enjoyed. Did I love it? No, but it was worth the read. It was a storyline I hadn't come across before in the paranormal romance genre. Parts of it felt a little slow and stilted for me which is maybe why I can't put it in the love it category. However, the characters were great. The heroine Aria is tough, independent, and flawed. Her men are all a little different but work well together. All alpha, arrogant, and possessive but loyal to their core to each other and Aria.

If you like reverse harem stories there is nothing to not like about this one. You will enjoy the chemistry between them as a group as well as when they break off into couples. Paranormal romance fans will enjoy the magic and wildness of the story too. The fights in the godly realm with all sorts of unknown beasts are inventive and entertaining.

Book 1 - Magic Blessed Academy
Aria has been alone since she was 12, growing up to look after herself she loves to fight in the underground MMA in Boston. Even competing against the men, just because she can. Out of nowhere one night, she is ambushed on the way home, during the ensuing fight she suddenly has the ability to use magic. Shocked and a little terrified she goes home to try and process the fact she is now a magic user. When morning comes she's greeted by a group who tracked her magic and now expect her to attend Magic Blessed Academy so she can learn how to use and control her magic. She really has no choice since the only life she ever knew is taken away. Being blessed with magic means she can no longer fight in the underground MMA.

Upon her arrival, she runs into an ex. Merrick, he was the one night stand that she wanted more of. Something Aria never wanted was to be attached to someone. So she ghosted him, and he is still not happy about it. Merrick immediately puts Aria in her place him being a second year he is well-liked and a skilled magic user. Merrick and his friends, Trace and Lachlan spend their time making sure Aria doesn't feel welcome.

When the time comes for the Gods Challenge to occur Aria, Merrick, Trace and Lachlan all enter and get a spot. The Godly realm is not for the faint-hearted and everything there can and will kill you if you don't stop it. After some close calls and plenty of fights, the 4 of them end up calling a truce to work together until they reach the end. This leads to them realising how much the chemistry swirling between them means more than just attraction. When the guys all make it known they want Aria she realises she wants them too, and why should she have to choose. After an unsure start, they decide they can and will be together.

As they race to the prize in the Gods Challenge things start to not add up for Aria, and as it ends she becomes more sure of the fact that something isn't right. When the challenge ends Aria pulls away from her men in fear that what happened in the Godly realm wasn't real. As the stress and worries become too much she returns to her men as they start to try and piece together what is happening at Magic Blessed Academy.

Book 2 - Secret of the gods
During Winter break Aria has more questions than answers. While she and Lachlan end up spending time together their bond grows. With a plan forming in Aria's mind they head back o Magic Blessed Academy to try and figure out what is going on and try to stop any more of the students from dying in the Godly Challenge.

While the bond between Aria and her men has become unbreakable it becomes apparent that not everyone likes it. They think they cheated by teaming up in the Godly realm, believing it is not in the spirit of the challenge. All of this lead by Wesley, a student from who Aria always got a sense of dislike from. Now though Wesley is attacking head-on, planning to stop the 4 of them from getting into the Godly Challenge again. Aria not only has to worry about the Gods and the teachers from Magic Blessed, now she has to worry about the threat from fellow students.

Nothing will stop them though. They don't want to win the challenge, they just need to get into the Godly Realm. It's the only way to find the answers they need. After fighting off Wesley upon their arrival in the Godly Realm, they break away from the challenge arena and venture deep into the realm of the gods for answers. If they thought the challenge was hard being in the Godly Realm beyond the playing field is not any easier. The gods do not want unwanted visitors and many threats stand in their way.

They are so close to answers when they reach the palace of the gods and Aria is finally hearing useful information before she is yanked out of the Godly Realm back to the academy. Someone won the challenge. Wesley, and now he thinks he is powerful enough to beat everyone and everything but especially Aria.

With every visit to the Godly Realm, Aria's magic has grown and she finds herself being able to transport herself to the Godly Realm without the help of a portal. When she sneaks around cloaked by magic she finally discovers what is hidden underneath the guise of the Godly Challenge. Now it's time to figure out how to stop it.

Book 3 - Wrath of the gods
Aria spent the summer break training hard, honing her magic skills and working on transporting herself and the guys to the Godly plane. Unfortunately, she is still only able to send herself, her magic is getting stronger and when they return to Magic Blessed Academy she will have to hold herself back so no one will know what is coming for them.

It seems she isn't the only one-upping her game though. When the time for the Godly Challenge comes around it is announced all students will compete this semester. Aria knows this will be bad, many of the students will not make it back and she's not going to roll over and take it. Deciding there is only one way to save everybody from the unknown is to challenge the gods themselves. Being arrogant and way too damn full of themselves the gods except, now Aria needs to convince everyone that the gods are not who they think they are because if they don't they are all going to be wiped out.

Wesley of course believes none of her tales and is nothing but a snivelling little weasel. When the challenge begins he immediately turns on the students siding with the guides. Despite the enormity of the task the students manage to win the challenge, but the gods are not willing to take the loss and back down. Locking Aria, Merrick, Trace and Lachlan in the dungeon of the Godly Palace it seems that Aria will have to leave them behind to return to Magic Blessed to save the others.

Never one to back down from a challenge Aria summons all her magic and manages to return them all to Magic Blessed and the sight before them is nothing but chaos. Many students didn't return, others were badly injured and thanks to the gods a lot of them believe it is Aria, Merrick, Trace and Lachlan who caused the injuries.

When other students step up and back up Aria the remaining students work to train hard and weed out those who will only be against them. With some unlikely help from the other side, everyone gets a good chance to increase their abilities. When a sneak attack takes down their shield the battle is on. It seems impossible to defeat a bunch of gods but they won't give up without a fight. As Aria's world that she loves is threatened her power becomes something new altogether. Leading to the end of the evil the gods have been reigning over the wild magic users.

After the battle to the time to rebuild begins and Aria, Merrick, Trace and Lachlan are able to start a new life. All the while they are making the world a better place for wild magic users and the magical community at large. Even the gods may be able to change with a little help from the 4 of them. They will certainly rock the boat and each other's world for a long time to come.

I have read other Eva Ashwood books and have liked them more than this series. But it was an enjoyable read. So if the review above intrigues you, give it a go.

Happy reading
Enjoy your next escape :)

If you like paranormal/fantasy type reads with lots of story and some spice thrown in, this is a decent read. (Reverse harem, only f/m spice, DP and group scenes, vanilla spice, quality of spice 3.75/5, quantity of spice 3/5)

I rate this a 3.5/5 because 3 is too little and 4 is too much. I am not sure how I feel about this series, to be honest. I think it is just not my preferential reading. I prefer less action and more spice and if there is going to be a lot of action it needs to be really well written, witty, dark, strong concept/premise, and engaging. I spent the majority of this series just wanting to get through it so I could start my next series. I think that some people would probably like this a lot more than I did depending on their tastes, but it just wasn’t strong enough writing for me to like this type of story. There was some holes in the story and if you look too close, a lot of the story and premise is silly and unrealistic.

Loved this series. These books are fast pace with a lot of action in them. Aria is such a great FMC, she is strong and sassy and faces trouble head on. I loved watching the relationship with her men grow from the first book. You can really read how much they all care about each other. Eva has written another amazing series that I highly recommend.

I love these books that have the whole series in one book, It makes reading so much easier.

Gift of the Gods:
Oh wow, I absolutely loved this!! I became a fan of Eva's with the Lost Boys and Who Breaks First, and then she comes out with Gift of the Gods. Totally different and just as freaking good. I loved the aspect of it. Being able to get powers from the gods, drew me in but honestly once you meet Aria, you will fall in love with her. She is a fighter, she knows what she wants and she gets it. She can seriously kick a guys a@@ and it shows. They guys are hot, and yeah I pretty much was just as hooked on them as Aria was.

Gift of the Gods is about Aria, who after one of her underground fights is confronted. Wanting to steal her winnings for the night, some men attacked her. Little did she know that this would bring her powers to the surface. If you are not born with magic, a few are blessed with being blessed by the gods with receiving your powers at a later age. Now Aria's journey starts. Taken to Magic Blessed Academy, she begins her education and new way of life. There she is met with three boys, one of which she has had a very hot history with, who show her who is in charge. But all is fair in love and hate especially when it comes to the God's Challenge. When she goes up against Trace, Merrick and Lachlan, all bets are off.

Once I started GofG, I could not stop reading. Aria is such a cool character. She is such a fighter, never gives up, is loyal once she deems you worthy, and says what she means. The guys, are just as interesting. I perfectly understand ones meanness toward her. And I really liked the direction this storyline is taking. So any fans of Eva's that have enjoyed her previous works, this one is just as awesome and I cannot wait for more.

Secret of the Gods:
What a great second installment to this series. We have so much that went on with book one, and I would say so much more happens in book two. So get ready for a wild hot ride.

Aria is on a mission, but thankfully Lach, Merrick and Trace will not let her go alone. ( have I mentioned I love protective alphas ) Here is where things get crazy, Aria and the guys know that something is wrong with the God Challenges. Nothing hardly ever goes easy, and neither does this journey.

I really enjoyed book one, but book two has just really amped up my obsession with this series. So much happens here. The pace is fast, the characters are such a great dynamic together, plenty of steam, lots of action and just out right a captivating read. That cliffhanger though!!! Whew, I really need book three to see what happens from everything from this book.

Wrath of the Gods:
Are you looking for a good paranormal rh romance with Gods? Oh how about just a great series that has everything you would want? Found It!!!

Wrath of the Gods centers around Aria and her guys, Trace, Merrick and Lachlan. They each compliment each other, and make each other better. They are a good unit and good for one another. I enjoy very much watching relationships grow, how they work, what it takes to make them work, and we get to see that growth here. So I was very pleased.

Aria is a good strong female lead, just what you want in this type of book. She is such a likable character and seeing her story unfold made her a fave of mine. That is probably until Eva comes out with her next series, and I am sure that female lead will become my favorite.

Overall, this series has a good plot, the pace is fast, the characters good, writing style on point, and a good ending to the series. I would highly recommend this series and this author!!

Where’s my magic powers gods? 😉

Book 1
I really enjoyed this book however at times it felt like high school, but they are all clearly in ther 20s.

They all enter the gods challenge that essentially leave them with ptsd. It had brought the 4 of them closer together, but is it real? something doesn’t feel right when they’re back and During finals ari overhears the faculty pretty much confirming her thoughts on the challenge. She tells the guys as much as makes a note to say how she needs to enter the Gods Challenge again to get answers.

Book 2!
First off - lemme just say CHAPTER 21! THANK YOU! 😉 I enjoyed book 2 a lot more than book 1! Aria and her guys went back into the Gods Challenge looking for answers, they blew off the actual challenge and went searching for the Gods, themselves. They are a set team now and although they didn’t get the answers they craved at the time, they got something else. Now people are weary of them, Wesley is out to get them... and one of the gods knows Aria was there. Can their love save them and conquer all? Thennn that bomb at the very end, danggg! So ready for book 3!

Book 3!
Lach *dreamy eye roll*! The 4 of them have cemented their true feelings for each other admitted their love! They kick butt, take names and have lots of *fun times* in between! This book dropped some bombs and gave you all the answers you needed! Ari overcame so much in her life and truly grew from everything that happened around her. I really felt like the ending came wayy to soon but am super happy about the extra bonus scene book!

*Overall altogether 5/5
*Heat? 🔥🔥 5/5
*First person POV, just Ari
*HEA? HFN! Can’t wait for the bonus scene book

Potential Plot but lacked depth

Rating a 3.5, I’ve read a lot of this authors work and this is the only “fantasy.” Book I’ve seen of hers and it may be the inexperience with that genre that led this book to be lacking in some departments.
First I felt like the FMC was self centered and paranoid I disliked her greatly because without depth and context she just appeared full of herself and paranoid. For example there was a part in the book where she had stated (without giving spoilers) that someone was “on to her.” And knew she was up to something but there was no context to why/how that would be.

There was no backstory or depth to the MMC’S. What I love about this author in particular is how in depth she goes with the MMC’s to the point where I feel like I know them on a personal level and develop an attachment. I didn’t get that as much in this book.

The storyline had such great potential but there was no history provided, it was more or less a normal girl suddenly gets powers and there’s multiple Gods involved but no history on how they became, what year the book was based in or anything. Maybe that was intentional but i felt like there was a lot of opportunity to go more in depth with how the magic worked, how she felt when she was performing magic etc.
i apologize for being vague i don’t want to ruin anything for potential readers.

With that being said although this book wasn’t one of my favorites in the fantasy department I still HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you enjoy: why choose romances to check out her other books because I truly believe she is the actual QUEEN! The #1 why choose romance author! And in every other series I’ve read of hers the FMC’s are always admirable, fierce and BAD A! And i always fall head over heels for the MMC’s

What a fun series!

This was a fun PNR RH series. There was some fantastic relationship growth between the fmc and her guys (who were all super delicious!) and you could see this throughout the whole series. I feel the relationship growth was most attributed to the fmc going through a lot of personal growth which resulted in a much sweeter relationship with all of her guys that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy over it. Speaking of their relationship... They definitely had some super steamy moments that were attention grabbing!

Some areas of the book went by a lot faster than others, and I felt pretty smug that I guessed some of the plot twists especially with how much Eva catches me off guard in other series!

The descriptions of the magic use was vivid and unique which I thoroughly enjoyed as well as the discriptions of the godly realm! This series had a lot of action that was balanced with some lighthearted moments.

It Was Ok

This had a good premise even plot just didn’t have enough to make it pop.

What I mean by that is there was too much focus on smut scenes and relationships and less on important bits like magic growth, learning, development, and detailing. There were time jumps from scene to scene that just felt like ending an idea and picking up somewhere fresh. There were obvious mistakes like the author forgot what she had the characters doing.

Then the biggest flaw was inability to suspend disbelief. Like you are in a dangerous challenge fighting for your life pretty much every second but let’s pause for smut time. There’s a war coming with literal gods instead of preparing or sleeping likes smut it up.

Then these characters are in their twenties and still read like teenagers which was just annoying.

I mean it wasn’t bad but I was flipping through smut scenes and fluff dialogue to get to the parts that actually mattered.

Loved it! Aria was a kick-ass human, maybe a little over zealous in the ring when fighting but she had overcome many challenges. Her love them and leave them attitude got her in trouble though with Merrick...he was more than a one night stand and a shame when she thought she had to run. Merrick got her back with some steamy closet attention though...
Lachlan and Trace - both delicious in their own way - and of course, BFF with Merrick. So a little bullying and instigation at play until Lach gets her bedded down in the cave during the God's Challenge... game on... This 'gem' catches on quick and the boys don't know what magic hits them. Really great series for the complete storyline and development of the MCs.
Interesting twist for the demi-god turned god and keeping those men satisfied...

Magically Delicious

Aria, a badass girl who has been on her own since she was 12 suddenly gets magical powers. There she is sent to Magic Blessed Academy to learn how to properly use and contain said magic. There she runs into an ex Merrick and his 2 best friends Trace, and Lach. Every semester the gods hold a challange for the best of the best to compete in. Its to show who has learned and gained the most experience at the school. Aria and the boys team up for the first challenge where they learn things are not what it appears. Now its a race against time for Aria and the boys to find out who is out to get them and to stop them before time runs out and they lose everything. This is a med to very fast paced burn. Lost of twists and some almost deadly turns for Aria and her boys to go through before coming out on the otherside to their HEA.

I struggled to finish this book - I ended up skimming quite a bit of it! The plot was fine, but the execution was lacking somewhat. At times it seemed like the plot jumped ahead, skipping lots of details/events in between. The MC is forced to attend magic school after developing magic out of nowhere. On arrival she meets an old flame who is dirty with her because she dropped him cold turkey previously because she got cold feet. He treats her like trash, along with his good looking, cool friends. Eventually they end up teaming up together to complete a challenge set by the Gods, and things change! Honestly, I got the gist of the story from skimming and don't feel like I missed out on anything important. I nearly didn't finish, but decided to persevere as I was interested in finding out how it concluded. Meh. Didn't hate it, but had potential to be better.

2.5⭐

If The Hunger Games books had been a fantasy story with a rehash of the same plot points throughout all three books, it would have been something like Untamed Magic.

The first book, Gift of the Gods, was great. I'd read that one and stop there. It's a fairly predictable plot, so you can already guess how the story ends without having to wade through the other two books.

But if you're curious to know more, check out the review on my blog. Link in the banner above.

I started screaming when I got the email about the free books during the holidays. I found this author thanks to stuff my kindle day. I love a good steamy poly book and adding on that this series was fantasy pushes it over the edge. I enjoyed the twists and turns which made the book less predictable. I just wish there was more, all of the books were too short for me. Another 200 pages per book would have been perfect since I blew through the entire series in a day. But anyway I loved all the main characters and the storyline was awesome. Many book are starting to be so similar and this was a great change of pace.

Great series

The world building was amazing, the plot was slowly revealed and Aria had her three guys to help her lead the revolution. Secrets were uncovered that rocked the academy’s foundation, and its all thanks to Aria and her persistence. I was drawn to Aria from the start, she was a fighter, fighting to earn enough money to survive. She took those skills and amplified them with her new found magic and took down the gods that wanted to kill off new wild magic users. I really enjoyed this series. A little slow but the build up was fantastic.

Great plot

For the first time ever I liked the story more than the s.exy scenes. Alright this book has mixed reviews some people loved it some didn't. I loved the universe and the story but I was like meh for their relationship. Honestly felt a bit flat and I skimmed the smexy scenes I just want into them. I felt it took away from he story. I know vMt belive I am saying this. I liked the book all in all though.

The storyline sucked me RIGHT in!!! Being a human I have always wanted to randomly get magic 😩
And of course you know with Eva the spice is going to be good. It actually wasn’t as spicy as her other books but that’s okay because the story line is really good. The only thing that bugged me is instead of saying oh my god the character said gods like she literally moaned oh my gods but that’s just my personal opinion. It’s still really good!

Aria

Aria is an underworld fighter, who suddenly gets magic. Now she's required to go to Magic Blessed Academy to learn how to use magic. There she competes in games put on by the gods, to win favor. But the gods feel that magic users are getting too powerful, and some of them must be eliminated.

wow

Eye opening… reverse harem after a tumultuous beginning that leads you down a winding path. There are characters you’ll fall in love with, some you’ll hate, others you’ll want to smack, and yet it all flows and just works. The scenes between Snow & her 3 men are hot enough to melt glaciers so keep the fan handy!

HOT

There are very hot and steamy scenes in this series, so if that’s not your thing, this isn’t the book for you. But if all things smutty, sexy, steamy, and downright hot are your thing, go ahead and get this one. PNR isn’t really my thing, but this series has more of a plot to it than just magical beings doing magical things. It’s great.

Hunger Games + smut = this series. It is so good. The plot and world building is quick and dirty. there's no dragging out of the storyline. The relationship between the FMC and the 3 MMCs is so hot. I feel like the series was the perfect length of story, although the ending felt a little rushed. A bonus chapter is available after the conclusion as well.
