I liked the videos and case studies to make more of this easier to grasp. It was fairly hard at first understanding it all. But, then again, isnt the CJS so complicated anyway? I want to give this a 1 star because I didnt agree with so much of the system as I read through this book. But, the author writes without bias, and thrives at bringing forth each individual part of the CJS without cause too much overwhelming factors to constitute into this intro book.
The reason for the 4 stars, is simply because a few times, is contradictory from one chapter to the next.
At one time, it states the biggest crime in one area. Vs. Another area it is the smallest crime.
The statistical procedures had me grasping for air as I truly struggled to follow along. From one statistic to the next and overlapping at the intervals, it became a bit hard to understand and grasp.
However, all in all, great book! I hope you keep the videos, as these were a joy to watch and understand from others' perspectives.

I had to read this textbook cover to cover. That is an experience I never want to do again.

There are many tear stains, it wasn’t even a sad book.
