Avery North has written a 5-star book. This is the continued story of Amber and Jake. Amber and Jake get into an argument and he goes to the gallery to cool off and get some work done. He hears glass break in the back room and grabs a steel rod he keeps in his office and goes to check things out. As he rounds the corner, he is attacked and stabbed. He hits the man and knocked him out. He trips over the man and hits his head on his way down and gets knocked out. Amber goes to the gallery to talk to Jake and she finds him unconscious with another man. When she sees the paramedics, she called out "Over here." "Oh, my, god! what happened? Was the gallery broken into?" Fredrick asked as he came into the gallery. My friend was driving by and saw all the police cars and called me. Amber tells him that the gallery was broken into and Jake was stabbed. And that is all that she knows. Amber and Jake have had their share of bad things happening to them with all the things Corrine and Bob have tried to do to them. Corrine is now in jail since she had tried to kill Amber and Jake. Bob had taken it upon himself to finish the plans Corrine had told him about. Bob is taken to the hospital but when getting transferred to the jail he escapes and goes back to the gallery. Robert, Jake's look-alike is there going over the security system and Bob thinking it is Jake stabs him. Bob thinks he has killed Jake heads out of town. He hears that he did not even get Jake but instead he got Robert. He is not looking when he pulls out of the dinner and did not see the truck coming toward him. The truck hits Bob and he is killed in the accident. Amber and Jake have gotten Adam and they are thinking of going to the cabin for a break. Adam said something to Amber about his two friends Stevie and Timmy not being happy. They thought that the reason no one wanted to adopt them was that they were unloveable. Amber talks to Jake about them and they decide to foster them until the paperwork comes back for Adam. they plan to adopt Stevie and Timmy, so the three boys can be brothers. While at the cabin, Amber gets some things together from her parents that she plans to take home with her so she can go thru them. When she finally goes thru them she finds out that she was adopted. She has not been feeling well so when she goes to the doctor to get the DNA test done she tells her doctor about not feeling good. The doctor does some tests and tells her he will call when they come back. Amber and Jake think that with Corrine being in jail and Bob dead, they can get their lives back and not worry about things. Unknown to Amber, Corrine has just been told that the prison she is in was told it is being shut down and she can get a chance of early release if she has someone she can stay with. Corrine gives the prison Amber's name. When Amber gets the results back from the DNA tests, she is shocked by the name of her mother. They thought things were over but now realize they are just starting.
Will Amber and Jake ever get things settled so they can have a stress-free life?

Jake and Amber cannot seem to get a break before something else goes down around them Amber got upset because Jake forgot to throw the pictures away that were not of him any way she was just being snarky and Jake got so mad when she wouldn't except that he forgot so he left the house and went to the gallery they were supposed to spend time together while Adam was at a sleepover. When he got to the gallery he was in his office when he heard that window break and when he went to check it out he was stabbed but he had taken a metal pole he kept in his office and he knocked the guy out but when he was going to call 911 he tripped over the man's body and hit his head on the table and passed out when Amber came to in wanted to apologize to her fiance' she couldn't find him and called the police and the paramedics because she saw the blood on the floor and there was no answer when she called Jake's name then she found him. They find out that the man is Bob finch Corrine's boyfriend who once he woke up in the hospital spill his guts about what they had planned to do and that he was carrying the plan out for Corrine. Even though he is in jail supposedly soon to be on his way to prison. Amber and Jake are happy again but Jake makes sure that the gallery and the cabin are secured with a security system he could check on his phone. The next day Richard his part-time security guard with some security tech knowledge assured Jake he would get it done. Adam reminds Amber of his request for a puppy and then puts in another request that almost breaks Amber's heart and she promises to talk to his dad when he gets home. Corrine gets the opportunity for early release since she has been a good inmate the Warden informs her but there is a hitch to getting out. They have a new problem since Amber has found out some shocking information. A very intriguing storyline as well as the characters. Drama, suspense, mystery, danger, surprises, and love. Wow, Doesn't Slow Down . . .

Despite our thinking that it’s finally going to be peaceful for Jake and Amber, more things arise. Corrine Earle is in jail, so that’s one good thing. But Detective Peterson told Jake and Amber that the robber who broke into the gallery was Bob Finch who claims to be Corrine’s boyfriend and was following up for her on a plan they had made before she was arrested. Bob was determined to break into Jake’s gallery and destroy the inside, not merely rob it. Corrine wanted revenge and to ruin Amber’s life, then kill her because she hadn’t been included in a Will.

With that part of the excitement settling down, Amber and Jake took Adam and his two friends up to their cabin for relaxation and fun. But when they got there, the side door was wide open. Now what is going on? They had been robbed, but it looked like it was some time ago, probably just a random opportunity to look for money. Jake would be installing a security system here too. The rest of their week was fortunately relaxing. Then the bad news came from Detective Peterson – Bob Finch has escaped!

Amber hasn’t been feeling well and is so tired. Dr. Foster saw her and told her some unexpected news, laughing when Amber asked in a panic how she could be pregnant! And after she told the family the news, an envelope arrived from Parker's DNA Laboratories in Portland. This is the news from the clinic on the DNA test! But the letter made her collapse in a chair as she told Jake that this nightmare was not; it is just beginning. Can they make it through another painful experience before they can find peace and joy in their lives? Or is this the final straw that breaks them?

Resolution - Part 5 - Things are about to get even more crazy for these two

Resolution is the fifth book/part in the Fight for love series and continues the story of Amber Paige and Jake McCarthy. This book starts where the previous book, Delusion, ended and finds Amber going to the gallery to apologize to Jake only to find him and another man unconscious, with Jake bleeding from a stab wound. Jake of course survives, as it is only a flesh would to his arm and it turns out he knocked himself out after knocking the other man unconscious with a pipe. These two continue on their roller-coaster ride of life together, sometimes riding in the same car and other times in separate cars, as they fight and make-up. But underneath it all they love each other and know they are devoted to each other, and now also to young
Adam, who they are still going to adopt.

This installment in the story is fast-paced, intense, drama filled, has family, friends, love and a lot of romance/sexy passion. Amber and Jake are all over the place at times but their hearts always belong to each other. Adam is a grounding force between them that just strengthens that bond. But when Amber discovers she was adopted and then who her birth mother is, thank you DNA testing, things get explosive once again.

Amber doesn’t know she got upset about those pictures. She doesn’t know why Jake would keep and why she got upset. Jake got dressed and went to the gallery. While at the gallery he heard glass breaking. When he went to check it out a mask man cut him with a knife. Amber came to the gallery to apologize to Jake. When she got there Jake’s car was there. She went inside and couldn’t find Jake. She found a pool of blood. She called emergency services. She found Jake and another man unconscious next to each other. Paramedics got her out the way. Fredrick came in the gallery after a friend told him what he saw. Amber was waiting patiently. The man that broke in was taken to the hospital. He was caring out Corrine’s plans. This couple goes through so much but come out stronger. They agreed to foster Adam’s friends Tommy and Stevie. Their house has gotten bigger three boys. Amber finds papers and an envelope which states she was adopted. Her world seems to be crumbling. She was adopted. Amber has so many questions and no one to answer them. What will happen next

This story Resolution: Fight For Love Series Book 5 by Avery North is definitely heating up between Jake and Amber. Avery North is an amazing author and I have read this series from the beginning. There is a lot of steam and a whole lot of drama in this particular story. Amber’s past is catching up to her and Jake. Again as with the last book, I am on the edge of my seat reading this story as it is a with baited breath page turning read. I just want to know how things are going to work for Jake and Amber. Again, there is a surprise of a cliff hanger at the end. I cannot wait for the next book as it is suppose to be the final and I hope that all will end with a HEA. Highly recommend reading this intense and dramatic series you will not be disappointed. Avery North is a talented author and one of my favorites.

Things have settled to normalcy for Amber and Jake, with Corrine out of the way, and Bob seeming to be gone. Adam has settled into his new home and they’re all working on finding new routines.

With security being tightened at the gallery after Bob’s last prank and Jake’s injury, they take a trip to the cabin with Adam and his 2 besties, to find more issues. Bob again?

Amber finds more papers her parents hid up there, which leads to more interesting news - and our final cliffhanger of the season (duh duh duh)! With of course so many other crazy, spectacular and super important story points throughout - this book cannot be missed! Loved it, and can’t wait for the conclusion next week!

This story Resolution: Fight For Love Series Book 5 by Avery North is definitely heating up between Jake and Amber. There is a lot of steam and a whole lot of drama in this particular story. The ghosts from Amber's past are catching up to her and Jake. I am on the edge of my seat reading this story. I just don't know how everything is going to play out and work for Jake and Amber. It is definitely intense that is for sure. There is also one heck of a cliff hanger at the end of this book. I am hoping that all will be ok in the next part of this story. I would highly recommend reading this very intense and dramatic story. It is so good but it will leave you hanging and wanting for more!

This book is not much different than the previous books. Things keep happening because they do not work together. It appears Jack has to handle the danger problem instead to them working together. How many kids does she want to adopt from the foster home? She never takes Jake feels into consideration when SHE wants something. But I blame him for not voicing his views and decline things when he feels it's
not needed or when they should be making some decisions together. I feel she is extremely selfish. She still doesn't support his glary especially when he need her by his side. She constantly apologizes after the fact.

I read the introduction of the last book. Same old same old. I'm as so hoping Jake get a spine.

Amber wants to be with Jake and goes to the gallery to talk to him but finds Jake has been hurt and another man on the floor unconscious. He goes to the hospital and she goes with him. Bob wants to complete Corinne’s plan and sets out to kill Jake at the gallery but gets the wrong man. Thinking he’d killed Jake he gets careless and gets hit by a truck. Amber and Jake goes to the cabin to get away but find it’s been broken into. Amber gets her parents things to look at later but after not feeding well goes to the doctor. Will she’s there she gets a DNA test also. She’s gets a surprise in her parents old boxes and then the doctor calls and they realize that their trouble isn’t over!

This is the 5th book in this series and is a continuation of Jake and Amber’s journey. Jake is recovering from his traumatic injury, and Amber is firmly at his side, while focusing on them being a happy family, and postponing their wedding until a later date. When recovering in the cabin Jake and Amber are becoming closer and are shocked when they return from an outing to discover that it has been broken into. These two can get through anything together, and they have challenges in their past still to overcome. This is a well written story which is filled with emotions, secrets, twists, suspense, mystery, danger, and love, which leads to a riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Reminder Jake and Amber had an argument at the end of book four. Delusion, Fight for Love Series by Avery North. Jake went to the art gallery where he was attacked and lay unconscious and that is where we begin this book five Resolution. Since these are shorter books there is not a whole lot to tell you that won't kill the excitement of the book. I will say that the ending of this one is less stressful then the other four have been. It is important to have read the first four books before reading this book five.

I am so glad this one came out as soon as it did. I just had to read it asap.
Now I am extra pleased that book 6 is out as well, so I can start reading this one as well now.
This author has done it again with this series of books. You do need to read the whole series to follow
the story to have it completed.
The characters have worked so well together and I have had a great connection with them all as well.
I never found any spelling mistakes or any holes in the plot of this series of books.
I can truly recommend them all to everyone that happens to be over the age of 18+

Oh my word, how can one couple have so much mayhem in their lives!
Amber goes to the gallery to apologise to Jake after an argument and finds him and another man unconscious, Jake's also bleeding.
The man found with Jake is Corrine's co-conspirator Bob, he was trying to carry out the rest of Corrine's plan, even though she's in prison.
The middle of the book consists of, in no particular order, fostering three boys, a puppy, a pregnancy, a break in, a stabbing and a car accident.
But it's the shock results of a DNA test that is this books cliff hanger ending.

4.5/5 Stars - The blows just keep coming for Amber and the latest snafu with her DNA test results knocked her off her feet...literally!! I had the thought of this happening even from the beginning from Book 1. And the nerve of Corrine, SMH. I'm really looking forward to reading the conclusion of this tale of drama that keeps on giving. Karma was not Bob's friend. Jake is supportive and loving to Amber no matter what's being thrown at them and I love their unconventional family. A few tears were shed with all that sweetness happening!!

Jake and Amber have much more to deal with as Jake is attacked. Amber has DNA test done when she finds paperwork from her parents. Multiple additions to the family make everyone happy. Corrine could get out early. I feel like I know the characters and are rooting for them. The storyline is well written with plenty of sub storylines, from kids, to puppies, to DNA tests. Love the way they work things out together. Adoption is something wonderful. Can not wait to read the final story and find out all the secrets.

Every chapter of this book brings something new. There are so many unexpected events... attempted murder, mistaken identity, and the karma bus pays someone a visit. There's good news as well - Jake and Amber's family is expanding, with more than one pleasant surprise headed their way. But that bombshell at the end... I like this series but she seems to be really selfish and not take Jake’s feeling in consideration. They don’t work together or talk they just leave. I understand to a point but come on…with everything they’ve been through you would think they would’ve figured it out by now to work together. I LOVE that they want to adopt from the foster home. Oh but wait there are some twists coming…will they finally work together or will they do what they’ve always done…leave?

Well the hits keep coming for Amber and Jake. Just when they solve one problem another one pops up to try and destroy their happiness. I like seeing Jake and Amber work together to build their family, though they need to work on their communication skills a little more. Amber starts to learns more about her past and then we are left with a cliffhanger wondering what the truth really is. I can't wait to read the next one.

Love Expanded

Avery North’s fifth book in her ‘Fight for Love’ series certainly keeps her characters fighting for that love. Jake and Amber, the main characters, seem to take two steps forward and one step back in their relationship. Just when they think they have peacefully obtained everything they’ve ever dreamed of, along comes something to throw a wrench in the works. This couple just can’t seem to catch a break. Their exciting adventures is so riveting that you can’t put the book down. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read

Eventful!

When will Amber & Jake get a break just as everything is getting back on track in their lives & looking forward to the future Corrine strikes again. Poor Richard bears the brunt of Bob's revenge on behalf of Corrine by killing Jake but then when their happy family is growing not only is Amber shocked to discover that she was adopted but we are then left on a massive cliffhanger when she gets her DNA results, I'm just hoping it's not who I think it will be.

This is a continuation of Amber and Jake's love story. Jake has been found at the art gallery laying unconscious on the floor. There are still unexpected incidents happening to them, attempted murder, misunderstandings, drama and increased tension. Ends on another cliffhanger. Fantastic read

Jake and Amber have moved on together they have been through so much and will not let anyone keep them apart. With Bob still hunting them down they try to get on with their lives Adam is not living with them and Jake and Amber have decided to adopt his best friend's Tommy and stevie. As with everything in there lives plans don't always work out. Really enjoying this series highly recommend

After the fight between then, Jake heads to the gallery where he is attacked, only to realize it was her "Aunt's " Boyfriend.
