Uggg! I’m not going to lie, I was a little aggravated when I read the description. I mean, come on, these two have been through enough without Harper giving Max those come hither stares.
I seriously should give Harper the benefit of the doubt. Who knows what’s going on with her. 🤷🏼‍♀️
This story is sucking me into it more and more. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Starting Over series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Continuation from where they left off Daphne has told Max the truth (yep all the truth) of why she ran and needed to hide and he still loves her but don’t relax just yet because a blast from Max’s past is getting ready to act straight up ugly will all that ugliness have Lana (Daphne) running, or will it force Max to spill his secrets will she accept him after, will she see they are stronger together than apart and will they finally get their HEA?

Daphne/ Lana tells Max about her past. He’s angry at her for lying but after she tells him her story’s, he’s just mad at her ex. She says she has to leave, because she doesn’t want to put him or his mother in danger. Max convinces Lana to stay.
The next day he goes to the grocery to buy stuff for dinner before picking Lana up. Whilst shopping he hears someone call out his name. It takes him a moment to realise who it is, then his stomach drops. Harper, a blast from his past and she’s moved back. He leaves to pick up Lana, thinking of Harper as he drives. Has his past come back to haunt him. It’s not until Lana walks out smiling that he realises that danger might be ahead.
On the trip home Lana knows something is wrong, could it be what she told him…..

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this instalment of Enchanting. This book has a mixture of different emotions. Recommend reading.

This is the 3rd book in this intriguing series and Lana / Daphne has finally told Max the truth about why she ran, but he feels blessed that she is in his life, and she is nothing but kind and caring. When a blast from the past comes back into town that is Harper, who is determined to cause a rift between Max and Lana. With Harper back, Max has some painful memories to be faced, and he has his own secrets to confess to. Will these secrets end Max and Lana’s relationship, or is their bond unbreakable? This is a well written story which is filled with suspense, twists, regret, turmoil, drama, secrets, action, conflict, and emotions, which all leads to an addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Wow, I was not expecting that! Max is understanding of Lana/Daphne’s past and deception. He vows to protect her and confesses his love. He fills in Loralie but asks her to keep the secret. Things are going well until Max’s past follows him into the grocery store rocking his world. Things become strained between Max and Lana/Daphne and finally Max makes his own confession, knocking the ground out from under her feet. Can’t wait for the rest.

Enchanting A Small-Town Romance (Book 3) by Gracie-Mae Harding. This book is filled with continuing action-packed drama, personal conflicts, and plenty of twists to keep things interesting and still short enough to finish in one sitting. Max and Lana (Daphne) bring plenty of feels in this installment. Looking forward to seeing what happens next especially with Harper in the picture now. Juicy! Lovely cover. I think this is my favorite of the entire series. It just seduces you the reader into its pages.
There were parts of this story where I laughed but there were a lot areas available for tears. It hit me hared. I could relate to Daphne.
I felt bad for Max too but it was Daphne's hurt. She's the one baring her soul to him.
I think it was very well done.

Lana tells Max her whole story and things are going better than ever. His ex, Harper now shows up after ten years and everything goes sour. The characters keep growing more addictive, with intense feelings and emotions. The storyline is a well written roller coaster for the relationship. Can not wait to read what happens next.

This shows Lana telling Max the truth, Max knows that Lana’s real name is Daphne, but to him, she is still Lana this is so cute and shows he wants the girl he has been around. But like always as feeling are developing a bump in the road in Mac's ex Harper cause friction and trouble. This was a great read.

Lana/Daphne comes out and tells Max her secrets. They start to grow closer but then his ex shows up in town. Harper brings back memories for Max and Lana can sense it. She feels jealous but Max tells her his secret. Can they overcome everything going on? Good book, I need to read the rest of the series. I just started here because it looked interesting.
