It's an incredible book because it tells you in really well-summarized sections how effective a certain physical exam tool is. For example, if a patient has a certain complaint and you perform a specific physical exam, how likely is it that it will add important insights into their potential diagnosis.
Great book for any physician who is in a teaching position. Read this to understand which physical exams are worthwhile and which are far less effective. But it isn't the ideal book for learning how to do a particular physical exam.
