A child actor growing up spoilt and wasted. And it's not the story.
We are dealing with gangs, trauma, PTSD, the horrors of paparazzi, past life and present life, toxic people.... (I can go on and on....)

🔥 Kill The Lights: una historia atrapante con más agujeros que un queso suizo 🧐
Desde el primer capítulo, Kill The Lights engancha con su premisa de body swap, secretos oscuros y una industria del entretenimiento llena de traumas. Pero aunque la historia atrapa de principio a fin, hay demasiadas preguntas sin respuesta. ¿Qué pasó con el cuerpo original de Mason después de recibir un disparo? ¿Hayley murió en su cuerpo o hay alguna posibilidad de que regrese? ¿Está condenado a vivir para siempre en el cuerpo de Hayley sin opción de volver? 🤯
También dejaron cabos sueltos con la adivina que hizo posible el intercambio de cuerpos. Parecía que tenía un papel clave, pero al final no se profundizó en cómo funcionaba exactamente este fenómeno. ¿Por qué el cuerpo de Mason ahora tenía el líbido de Hayley? ¿Había más reglas ocultas en este cambio? 🤔 Y ni hablar del trauma de Mason con su hermano muerto, que solo sirvió como excusa para conocer a Noah y luego se olvidó por completo.
Y hablando de Noah… ¿por qué el público lo veía como un hombre encantador cuando tenía actitudes posesivas y celosas? 🤨 Con Hayley (ahora Mason) lo controlaba demasiado, y hasta cuando lloraba, su sufrimiento se sentía un poco falso. En general, la historia tocó temas serios como el secuestro de Noah, la vida de Hayley como actor y los traumas de la industria, pero en lugar de desarrollarlos, los dejaron como ideas sueltas para centrarse más en el smut. 😅 Aún así, es una historia que entretiene, pero pudo haber sido mucho más profunda.

woooow. this is way better than i expected! honestly, i don’t really know what i was expecting, but i know this wasn’t it, lol. either way, i’m stoked! i’m enjoying every single aspect of this thus far. i can’t wait for noah to find out the truth; it’s going to be epic. also, all this non-sexual sexual tension is KILLING me!!! my god, just fuck already.

i read the novel, so i already know what’s up… ughhh, it makes the manhwa-experience ten times better. the tension and anticipation is killingggg meeeee…
edit #2: it’s over and i don’t know what to do with myself AHHHH. they’ve grown so much. <33 can’t believe is as this, but i love them together, lol. that epilogue was beautiful.
(i’m getting emotional now, fuck.)
a day will come when i’ll write a more extensive review (i’m guessing i’ll be rereading this again at some point as well), and i’m quite looking forward to that. i’ll give this store justice. no matter how initially toxic and unhealthy their relationship was, they’ve both changed and grown since the beginning, and i’m surprisingly optimistic about their future. also, i hold so much appreciation for the fact that they actually went public with their relationship so quickly…!!! and with, like, zero hesitation at that, haha. it’s so rare to see that in comics featuring modern-day korea—ESPECIALLY with celebrities. i love it, and i’m so happy for them.

(I really started liking reincarnation stuff.)
It was a good story. I think I would have preferred it if it was found family, and Mason had never died (that scene of Mason caressing a young Noah really hit me hard, he would have been cute as his father figure). But I don't mind the romance, especially cause he ended up reincarnating to someone closer to Noah's age. Yes it was a tad bit awkward that they knew each other before the reincarnation, but it's okay, that's just personal stuff and doesn't take away from the story. I also love that Mason ended up reincarnated into Reese, the small actor with the worst reputation, and then, because he was Mason, Noah, the public's sweetheart, fell for him. I like the opposites attract trope, and though that wasn't it in reality, to the public, it was, and I liked their reactions lel.
DO I EVEN NEED TO COMMENT ON THE FUCKING TAINT PIERCING. WHAT THE FUCK.
Overall sweet relationship. Noah definitely has issues he needs to work on, the suicidal ideation stressed me out lel. There were moments where I didn't understand his thinking, or thought he was overreacting, but it's okay.
It was a good story. The art in this webtoon is amazing, and I especially liked the way Haley/Mason (MC) was drawn. I enjoyed every moment of reading this webtoon. In terms of storyline, it's not uncommon. I have read something similar to this before where the MC dies and transmigrates into another body, and the person in his past can somehow recognise him - this was written well though. The pacing was good and it was nice to see how Haley/Mason got to live a more peaceful life with his lover.
This may be an unpopular opinion but I like Noah (ML). He's an interesting character, definitely flawed and possessive. His traumatic childhood that linked him to Haley/Mason made him such a compelling character that I couldn't help but root for him. I wanted him to be happy and although it took a while, I liked how his relationship with Haley/Mason progressed. The R18 scenes in this are chef's kiss by the way. They were steamy, rough and there were some tender moments sprinkled in there as well. There is no denying that Noah is a freak in the sheets and we cheer for Haley/Mason.

OH POR DIOS. Me leí este manwha en 1 día (bueno, parte de la madrugada y mañana del día siguiente jeje) y puedo decir que es uno de los mejores manwhas que he leído. Sé que a algunos tal vez no les guste la actitud de Noah pero he leído tantos manwhas tóxicos que este top fue de los más tranquis jaja. ANYWAYS, salí super enamorada de Mason, su antes y después, pero realmente verlo en el cuerpo de Haley fue super hot. Siempre he sido fan de los mercenarios/asesinos que son inteligentes y softies on the inside, y él no fue la excepción. Y AHHHH EL PLOT DE LA HISTORIA, lo más importante, me atrapó totalmente. En varios manwhas la trama se volvía pesada luego de tiempo, pero en este manwha estuve enganchada de principio a fin, Y HASTA ME DEJÓ CON GANAS DE MÁS, necesito side stories urgentemente. El estilo de dibujo también se volvió de mis favoritos, las expresiones y la paleta de colores, todo!!! Amé todo, ojalá leer algo parecido de la autora en un futuro.

noah es el verdadero “si me dejas me mato” and i love that for him, la vdd no sentí la gran conexión con los protagonistas entre sí tipo no sentía el amor, podía sentir cariño pero nunca sentí el amor entre ellos, me hubiera gustado más que se hubieran centrado en el tema principal de cambio de cuerpo pero lo dejaron súper de lado en los primeros capítulos, siento que hubiera sido una historia súper interesante de ver y no la supo desarrollar la autora, así mismo sentí el final muy hueco y que no hubo un buen cierra de personajes y ni de su relación

I love this. At first I thought I wouldn't like it, since it starts kinda... ahem. But yes, the story progressed well in my opinion, even though I have some issues regarding the age gap, and Noah's fixation on Mason. The concept of it is very interesting, even tho I wonder what happened to Hayley.

SOO GOOD! I found this manhwa randomly and it’s become one of my favourites. The tropes!! Mason was so hot! I’m normally never exactly attracted to the bottom, but holy cow, mason was smth else. It’s a rare occasion, but I think I liked mason over Noah 🤭

The premise of a mercenary being reborn into the body of a former child celebrity and current Hollywood bad boy is funny enough in its own right. Add his entanglement with an obsessed and psychotic rich boy, who the recently deceased actor used to be very horny for, and you get something juicy.
Kill the Lights is very much old-school, rape-y yaoi, but Noah being clinical insane is part of the draw, and Mason himself acknowledges that Noah's guilt-tripping him. I enjoy how unhealthy they are together, although I do wish the story had spent a bit more time on dealing with Mason's feelings, to show how they develop from Haley's leftover physical attraction and Mason's lingering obligation and guilt to genuine affection. The epilogues are kind of doing this now, but I would've preferred to see more of it in the main story. But despite the rather abrupt ending, I liked this one.
RIP Haley, tho. Guess the poor dude is just dead now.

I liked Mason... Noah was ok I guess but he had the personality of white bread after the hotel tbh... Also it just sorta ended and we'll never know what happened with Tony for example....... But Mason was great :D
