Wow! I think Illicit Brotherhood series are going to be my favorite series this year. I have just finished reading Pledge Your Loyalty by Haris and Brooks, and I feel like I have been punched in my throat. I was already on pins and needles throughout the story and the cliffhanger at the end just brutalized me. I am completely under the spell of Soren and Steffan, and when I think about what’s to come in the next book, I can’t help but feel giddy❤️❤️❤️Taylor is the sweetest, funniest and most endearing heroine and she has her hands full with all the secrets and half truths surrounding her innocence. I can honestly say that the storyline premise is perfect with all the unexpected twists and turns so I definitely recommend Pledge Your Loyalty to all my fellow reader friends❤️

ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review

I finished this book last night and I'm still in shock! It was a wonderful read from the prologue to the last chapter. The universe that Gail Haris & Ashton Brooks created is out of this world and to say that the plot surprised me is an understatement: it was genius how these two authors handled the mystery, suspense, unexpected twists and bloodshed! Without a doubt I'm IN LOVE with this series, with its characters, and I can't wait to have the next book in my hands.

Pledge Yout Loyalty tells the story of a girl and two college twins: Taylor is the daughter of a religious and conservative family, she came to Thorn University looking for independence, and escape from her obsessive ex-boyfriend, she is the typical good girl: kind and good student, she works in the school library and is starting to make important decisions for her future, but she also has a sassy and strong side that I loved reading, especially when she uses it to put Steffan in his place and drive him crazy, plus I think Taylor has a lot of growth throughout the book especially after what the ending let me see of her.

Steffan & Soren are twins with a great legacy within The Illicit Brotherhood, a secret society that uses the Delta Pi Theta fraternity and Thorn University for their own benefit. Steffan is the more down-to-earth of the two, and next in line to lead the brotherhood, plus he's a charming, popular, powerful and cocky guy, a character who stole my heart throughout the book with his constant clashes with Taylor and determination to protect his brother. Soren is the black sheep, a tender, cool, mysterious boy with a darkness that Steffan doesn't have, he is impulsive and doesn't like to follow some of the rules that the brotherhood has, which leads him to face consequences for his behavior, Soren was a character that I immediately fell in love with and about whom I still have many doubts, and that I definitely hope to be able to read from his point of view in the next book.

The lives of these three characters come together during a Halloween party that changes everything and turns their worlds upside down: suddenly they find themselves involved in mysterious murders involving snakes, they begin to doubt each other and, despite starting to get to know each other, they don't know what the other is capable of, especially Taylor & Steffan. Also, The Illicit Brotherhood is being targeted by an unknown enemy who is drawing unwanted attention to the fraternity, leaving Steffan feeling more pressure than ever to do the right thing by the brotherhood, and to not disappoint his dad, all this added to the feeling of guilt and doubts regarding Soren, who is in his own fight.

Soren, Taylor & Steffan have a complicated relationship, to say the least, one that can seem confusing, but ultimately makes perfect sense, in which their feelings are evident, but that make everything so much harder for the three of them, and I have to say I wasn't expecting where these guys were going, but I LOVED the direction everything takes towards the end, and I hope the next book explores more of that, because I needed! And if we add to that the number of twists that the plot had, this book becomes a true masterpiece, especially after the cliffhanger with which everything ends, which in part I saw coming, but I did not expect it to be SO IMPRESSIVE .

I definitely couldn't have had a better approach to the writing of these two authors, I'm very happy with the story and its characters, and now I can't wait to find out what happens next in this series.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5* No One Is Safe Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I went into this book blindly and was hooked from the first page with all the secrets and shenanigans surrounding the Illicit Brotherhood.

The twists and turns were surprising and exciting! Death, danger and Illicit behaviour abound within the secret brotherhood. Nothing is as you expect it to be!

The sexual tension between the hero Steffan, the ruthless heir to the secret society and the sassy and not so innocent Taylor was steamy and insatiable!

The book ends on a tension filled cliff-hanger with so many questions which are needing answers. I need the second book urgently!

I loved this unexpected dark and deathly suspenseful read.

Stars: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice: 🌶🌶🌶

I don’t want to give to much away because this is a book you need to experience.

The insane secrets, the extreme sexual tension, and the constant danger.. it’s everything I didn’t know I needed and so much more. I was not prepared for any of that. This was absolutely insanely phenomenal. I stayed up all night just to finish it, and I regret nothing.

There’s no better feeling than making a prediction in a book but constantly second guessing yourself. I was right on a few, but completely wrong on a lot of others. Part of me felt like I was part of a murder mystery show and finding little clues here and there. I absolutely loved every suspenseful second of it. I’m watching a few side characters though. Somethings are just not adding up with them, and to many questionable things are happening in the background. Honesty, it has me trusting absolutely no one..

Taylor is the perfect MC for this book. She a bit naive, but has a mind with a fierce backbone. Her character development by the end is flawless. My only complaint is I wish we knew more about her life before college. I feel like we’re missing some key information from her past that could help with what’s going on. Also, I’d like to say I wouldn’t choose either 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😂.

That cliff hanger was insane. It made me feel like a junky needing her next fix 😭. Please book 2 come soon!

Okay so wow where to start….this was so good! Such a phenomenal book! This book keeps your attention full force. So much was covered in not that long of a time which I really liked. This book definitely had mystery and suspense, but also steamy. It wasn’t too much but enough to have you wanting more. Pledge Your Loyalty was dark and dangerous with so many secrets. These characters were so amazing. There was so much depth to them. This is definitely a book you need to experience in your life! This is a book to devour, I know I did!

I am throwing this out there, I said it when I beta read this book and I’m saying it again, Soren is mine and he can so stalk me as prey 😍😂

Pledge Your Loyalty is a TOP 2022 MUST READ for me. It is just THAT GOOD! I think everyone needs to read this book! I am beyond excited for more to this series, I am already impatiently waiting for the next book!

This is my first read by either of these super talented Queens that call themselves authors. I was hooked from the first page and I am fighting the urge to flip back to the beginning to read again. Fair warning - this does end in a helluva cliffhanger!
-Keeping this spoiler free-
Taylor is this sweet, God-fearing young woman that chose her freedom and learning who she is by attending college in a different state. But don’t take her demure personality for stupidity - she is perceptive, quick, and has a sharp tongue. I ended up loving her so much.
Steffan is a young man with a ton of weight on his shoulders. He definitely has the ego of a leader but also showed vulnerabilities when I least expected it. I enjoyed watching him be caught off guard by Taylor and how she didn’t take any of his B.S. He grew on me as his many layers were pulled back as the story progressed.
Now the plot, I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved it. Secret societies with a mafia/gang feel, dead bodies, snakes, and so much more. This first book has so many layers, as the plot progresses more questions arise. The chemistry and sexual tension between Steffan and Taylor had me squirming, and the steam between these two is 🥵. I adored the character growth and development as well. The twists and surprises are the clinchers for me - I had an inkling of a couple, but the way Gail and Ashton executed them is perfection. Honestly, this entire book is perfection - these two pulled off a story with a completely new feel to a romance sub-genre that I like to say I am well acquainted with, adding in layers of suspense and mystery tangled up in a budding romance that mixed up in secrets and blood. I loved it and I will be here in the front row for the continuation because I can’t wait to see where they take this.

Oh my goodness! This book was an amazing ride. Buckle up when you start, and be ready to not want to put this one down. Steffan, Taylor, & Soren had my mind spinning. This college, coming of age, taboo read was filled with so many twists that I did not see coming. I thought I had it figured out, and then something else would happened. This one was so angsty it had me holding my breath. The ending literally left me with my mouth hanging open. You have been warned people!

Oh, and I’m from Alabama… and nothing gets in the way of Alabama football! Roll Tide!

Expect the unexpected around every corner with this Brotherhood. You think the story is going one way, then it slides into a completely different path.

I love the mystery - it kept me on the edge of my seat. My mind played tricks on me in the middle of the night from this one, what’s that noise?!

This first book in the Illicit Brotherhood series sets you up for many more novels in this world. This is just the beginning, and you have no idea what will happen next. You’ll just have to read on to find out!

I love when a story comes full circle but leaves so much up to interpretation of what’s going to be the next clue to finding out who is the murderer. Who is doing this? Only time will tell. Will Taylor make the right choice? How will she handle this news of her past at her doorstep?

Taylor was looking for something different, a challenge, and she finds that within the walls of her new school. But she also finds something else there... Steffan. He is mysterious, handsome, secretive, and a temptation she should stay away from, but she can't. One kiss and she is addicted... but little does she know that kiss has just lead her into the lion's den, and no one is safe there!

Between the pages of the creatively penned tale you will find a story riddled with danger, secrets, drama, passion, and bits of a budding romance. Steffan is no ordinary boy, he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, high expectations to live up to, and a kingdom to rule. But he also has a wandering eye that draws him to Taylor. Now she is a trouble with a capital "T," a distraction that he doesn't need, but Steffan has never been one to avoid a challenge!

These two are about as opposite as two souls can be, but within all their differences they discover a commonality that bonds them... and that is what keeps them coming back for more, even though they know they shouldn't. They bring it ALL to the pages, and will have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's pages will hold you hostage from beginning to end!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

First and foremost, I absolutely loved this story.
Second, Miss ma'am's if you both could so kindly let a girl know she is heading for a cliffhanger, that would be splendid. I almost threw my kindle.
Third, I will be getting my hands on some Ashton Brooks books now. I have already devoured all of Gail Haris's book.

Now for my review. The first chapter or two was a bit slow. Keep reading, I promise it gets better. I couldn't get enough of these characters and cannot wait for the next instalment.

Taylor is... well... a good girl in all ways when she left for college. Pure and innocent. She is trying to find herself, away from her parents watchful eyes, when she finds herself in the middle of some crazy situation.

Steffen seemingly has the world on his shoulders, well, the corrupt world he live in at the very least. When Taylor quit literally falls at his feet life get more complicated.

Sparks fly, bodies drop, and lives are changed forever.

Now for those of you who have read this, can someone please explain to me how in the world she was complaining there towards the end? I mean not the very end, I understand that, but right before that. I mean she won the lottery there for a moment. I'm just saying.

In conclusion, a five star must read.

This is the first book of the "IIlicit Brotherhood" by two of my favorite authors, Gail Haris and Ashton Brooks. Their collaboration on this book certainly didn't disappoint from the first page until the end it was fast passed, intriguing and full of suspense. The Illicit Brotherhood is an underground illegal operation housed in the Delta Pi Theta at the Thorn University in Blue Rose, Alabama. Soren and Steffan Carmicheal identical twins are the sons of a major player in the Illicit organization. Taylor is attending the university to find out who she is and to get away from overbearing, religious parents, and an unstable ex-boyfriend. Taylor encountets one brother, then the other, without realizing there are two, but something seems off. The story leaves with dead bodies accumulating and a cliffhanger. I'm so excited about the second book in this series and for the story to continue.

This was my very first read by these authors and OMG!

I was hook from the start! I literally felt like I was stuck in a thriller, murder mystery and sexual tension like no other! I was gripping my kindle thing WTH, wait hold on did I just read that, I’d go back and re-read. This book had me completely hooked! (Yes I’ve said that already)
I literally felt like I had parts figured out then bam 💥 plot twist like my mind was working I’m like could be or could it be…

Taylor the MC was sheltered but when she finally had enough she definitely had a backbone to her. She wanted to grow as a person and her character development was soo good.
The Twins definitely had me I was like ohhhh my 🥵🥵.

I need more I need answers. That cliffhanger was intense like I felt it coming but I was like give me a tad more. 😂 cliffhanger endings are always fun. I can’t wait for book 2.

Easy 6 stars out of 5!
When I have to set down a book and find myself daydreaming more about the story and world it’s set in than the real one? I know it’s a keeper.
I didn’t want this to end.
My emotions were confused on how I should feel. Who I should feel it for? The constant intrigue and mystery behind it all kept me on the edge of my seat wanting more.

What a mind fu… 😉

It’s been so long since I had this hard of a book hangover. I can’t do or think of anything except this story.

This is one is NOT predictable at all. And I loved every minute of it.
Can’t wait for Book 2! Like literally, I can’t wait and need to go stalk the authors to get it done now.

So this is a brand new writing duo that I'm definitely excited about. (1 half of it is a new to me author)
This book was a fantastic way to start a series, honestly I kept forgetting there was two authors it flowed that seamlessly and I was transfixed (bar a scene or so towards the end) from cover to cover.
I'm not going to comment on the characters or plot as be prepared for twists you'll never see coming (and some you might), and jaw dropping moments that are so descriptive that you'll feel like you are right there beside the characters.
Cannot wait to see what happens next after that ending.

This was a really good book; however, it ends on a cliffhanger, which I wasn't aware of. This is the first book I've ever read by either of these authors, and I was really impressed with the writing style and storytelling!

Steffan and Taylor's relationship progressed so naturally, and it was so believable, I honestly felt like I was watching the movie, instead of reading the book. There are also some twists and turns thrown in, and some laugh-out-loud moments, which made it that much better. I honestly loved everything about this book, and can't wait to read the conclusion. In the meantime, this one is highly recommended!

This book deserves 100 stars it was so good. This is such a phenomenal book that these two authors co wrote. I can't believe what I just read and I'm not ready for it to end yet, and what an ending it was. All I can say is WOW! I absolutely freaking loved this book. The guys in this book are ones you hate loving. They are mean, egotistical, psychotic a**holes but somehow you just have to like them. Never mind how psychotic they are there is one lurking out there that is even worse. I am so stoked to read the next book and see what happens next. This is one of my top reads for this year so far. Highly recommend this book.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

Taylor
I promised myself sophomore year of college was going to be the year I truly let myself experience life. I never imagined that mindset would lead me down this dark, dangerous path. Directly into the Illicit Brotherhood. I'm brought into a world filled with the perfect mixture of danger and pleasure. Maybe that's why I find him so intoxicating. When my quiet life erupts into chaos, and loyalty is tested. I'm left wondering if he will choose me or the Brotherhood.
Steffan
Bloodshed. Threats. Broken alliances. Being a part of the Illicit Brotherhood we're trained to be prepared for anything. Our college experience is a study in torture and a degree in murder. Loyalty over everything. We're supposed to protect our own, but when she comes into our world, she may be my one exception. I only wonder when she finds out who I really am, will she choose me or destroy me? Death is coming. No one is safe.

I don't even really know how to review this book. There is so much going on in this book and I just wow!!!! Trust me that is a good wow!! I guess I can tell you a few thing but I will tell you there is a huge who done it and a who is this guy in this book and it will absolutely blow your mind when this book ends. I think I am still shocked. I knew he was coming but.....like I said mind blown. Taylor is a girl who comes from a small town in Mississippi (goodness I hope I got that right, or I could be wrong on the state). College in Alabama is supposed to be her escape and her chance to live her life since she has what sounds like very controlling, super religious parents. She's been shelter but she did have a boyfriend back before college that she refuses to even think his name because she was traumatized by him and glad to be away. As far as she is concerned she is happy to be away from both of them really. The book says she doesn't go home because she doesn't want to know anything or chance seeing he who shall not be named and her parents. Now is her time to live and she is trying her best to do it. She finally gets to experience a party and she really had no idea what kind of frat house she is walking in to and things get very interesting really quick for her but there is a mystery to who she shared some things with that night. For a year she has been looking for the guy with the most beautiful turquoise eyes, and he finally walks into the library one day where she works and does not even acknowledge her. Steffan is the guy and he is also the president of the Fraternity Taylor went to that fateful Halloween night. He carries a lot of responsibility as he will one day take over the Illicit Brotherhood and it is his responsibility to do a lot of illegal things, take care of people who betray them, and train I guess is what I should call it all the guys in the frat. You see they are not a normal fraternity. You won't find a chapter of this fraternity at any other college in the world and the scrubs are the kids that come in that belong to members of the Illicit Brotherhood and this essentially to be trained and work for the brotherhood at the same time. The book explains all this way way better than I ever could. When Steffan sees Taylor for the first time after the Halloween party that turned the university upside down a year later he doesn't recognize her and this upsets and confuses him and he can't for the life figure out why she treats him this way and he is very very interested in her. She makes him feel things and that a strange thing for a guy like him. I think that is about all I can tell you. I will say some things you might figure out and will just know and others you're going to close this book still not knowing and having a lot of questions. But I am telling you that cliffhanger is excellently done. I know, I know people hate cliffhangers but I have never minded because I know that I get more of the story to come and I can sit and wait with bated breath on the next book in this series to come out.

This book is co-written by Gail Harris and Ashton Brooks and I have to say too that these are knew authors for me. I don't think I have read a book by either one of them. Now I am all shame on me for that. I will be looking in to their full catalogs and I am sure reading some of their books. I love how you can not tell who was writing what chapter and I know I just admitted to not reading them individually but I can tell that you can't tell from the way the book flows and it never feels like two people have written this book. This is a book that you do not want to miss!!! I should add that there might be some triggers for some readers so heed the warning but this is one of the best books I have read so far this year. I am hooked and can't wait for more!!!!

This book was just wow, absolutely fantastic from these 2 arthurs. This is my 1st book to read from Gail and I've read Ashton's book's and loved them. These arthurs have created this secret society world in which they live by a code.

Taylor is just the sweetest, naive girl you could ever ask for in a friend.
She's at a Halloween frat party during her freshman year one night when she meets this guy one night, they share a night and she doesn't see him again plus she realizes she never got his name, she's never forgotten him, but then the next year she's walking into class and sees him, and he doesn't recognize her.

Steffan is the president of the secret society the Illicit Brotherhood between him and his fraternity they run things at the university.

Soren is Steffan's twin these 2 couldn't be any different even though they look alike their mannerism is totally different. Something happens one night at a party that has Steffan telling Soren to leave he stays gone a year, but now he's back and strange thing's start happening at the University.

That's all I'm going to say you just have to read it and find out. I swear give me those secret society, murder, blood, chaos, twists and turns, broken alliances, suspense and throw in some kinky smexy times and let's call it a day. I freaking loved this book, and oh they have an alligator called Allison, can you guess why? This does end on a cliffy that I can't say I'm not surprised at, I just had a feeling. Now I just need the next to find out what happens next.

I'd definitely would recommend!!

This book is excellent. This book has twists and turns that will make your head spin. It all started at a Halloween party… Steffan and Soren, twins who’s father is the leader of the Illicit Brotherhood, a brotherhood who uses the Delta Pi Thera fraternity at Thorn University as a training ground for the future generations. That night, Steffan makes a decision that costs him his brother. Taylor, a young girl who was raised by extremely religious parents, makes a life changing decision that same night that brings her into a world she doesn’t know anything about.

Taylor makes this book for me. She may be a “little mouse”, but proves to be far more. Steffan USA leader who , for a college age young man, has a lot of expectations put on him. He wasn’t my favorite character.. but my opinion changed as the story went on. Soren… he’s the one I need to know more about!

This is a book I went into, knowing I would like it because Gail Harris is an author I always love. Ashton Brooks is new to me, but I will read more! This is so worth the read! I will recommend this to everyone I know who reads. And.. the next book cannot come quickly enough!

This is my first read by these two authors and I am hooked! This book is full of twist and turns, suspense, sexual tension, off the charts chemistry, snakes (we can't forget the creepy snakes "shivers"), with a mafia/secret society feel. What a great way to begin a series. I absolutely love Steffan, Soren and Taylor. There are so many layers to this story and I need more. I screamed "You've got to be kidding me" with that cliffhanger! I need to know what happens next asap! I hope we also get Lee's story...I am for sure a loyal fan after this one.

Being new to both Ms.Brooks's and Ms.Haris's work i've been wanting to pick up their books for quite some time. As soon as they announced they were joining forces for Pledge Your Loyalty I couldn't wait! I picked up this first book and got into The Illicit Brotherhood world! I so enjoyed it!

This first book grabbed my attention quickly! I wasn't sure what all to expect going into this journey which i really liked! It definitely kept me on my toes, wondering what all was going to happen. I really enjoyed how all the characters made me feel many things throughout as well!

With Pledge Your Loyalty, Ms.Brooks and Ms.Haris have created a good read! I'm looking forward to more of The Illicit Brotherhood!

Pledge Your Loyalty seemed like the sort of college-based new adult novel that I might enjoy. Danger, pleasure, bloodshed… Bring it on. It didn’t take long to add in some serious steam and a case of mistaken identity. I thought I’d be hooked. Unfortunately, the next chapters didn’t follow through.

Taylor could have been an excellent character, but unfortunately, she came across as the not so impressive kind of final girl. She has a whole bunch of past trauma and some serious parental issues, but not enough was made of these to make me want to invest in her fully. She could have delivered a huge amount of pain in her chapters, but instead, her trauma was brushed away, like it couldn’t really get to her again if she could only avoid going home. Moving on to her college life, she sees horrific tragedy on multiple occasions but moves on like it barely even touches her.

At the start of the book, and when Taylor first meets him, Steffan is unlikable at best. He’s so consumed with his place in his precious brotherhood that he fails to see what’s happening around him, nor that he’s met a woman who could be the best thing to ever happen to him. Not only is he shallow, but he also comes across as incredibly flat. His twin brother, Soren is a complete contrast to him, but he disappears after the first few chapters. More’s the pity. I really liked him.

While the book was perfectly readable, it felt like a literary take on a 90s slasher film. You know the sort that you watch once and never bother with again. Will I continue with the series? Probably not, and even then, only if it appears on Kindle Unlimited. I certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to find the next book in the series.

I went into this book blindly only knowing that it was a colleges/secret society romance and I. LOVED. IT. Seriously, this is the best book I've read in awhile and I did not want it to end. In fact, I've already gone back and read it again because it is just THAT good.

This book has everything. Murder, mystery, romance, steam. I love a good mystery. But what I found myself being drawn back to were the scenes between Stefan and Taylor. They made me FEEL. I love Stefan. Besides being in his family's secret society/gang business, deep down he is truly a good guy. I found myself wanting to both hug and slap him simultaneously in this book. And isn't that the sign of a good book? Being so invested in the characters that your heart hurts when their heart hurts? For how much Taylor was sheltered as a child, she really found her backbone in this book and her inner monologues struggling to decipher what she is feeling now with what she was taught to feel as a child were really interesting. Which mindset was right? Today? Yesterday? Neither? Both? I know which one I'd choose, but knowing Taylor's background I can see how she would struggle and it was fascinating to dig into the mindset of being confused by feelings that you were taught your whole life were "wrong." She is really starting to find herself in this book; constantly assessing who she really is without her family's influence. And I, personally, love who she is. She sees the world with childlike wonder and curiosity and it's really refreshing. She's not naïve where you want to tell her to wise up. It's just the wonder of reading about her experiencing things (all kinds of life things) for the first time that is really captivating.

This book does end in a cliffhanger and I couldn't be more proud of Taylor! Although the cliffhanger sucked (because WHO wants a book to end like that??), I found myself fist pumping at Taylor saying "YAASSSS GIRL! I'm glad to see you've become well acquainted with your backbone." I can't wait for the next book, which I can't even find a release date for so I'm panicking. I need it now. I'll be interested to see how they flesh out that cliffhanger. If it goes the predictable route (as the cliffhanger suggested), I will be really disappointed because what we learned happened to a 9-12 year old just wouldn't make sense to live by as an adult. Like, there are NO rules when you're that age. Certainly not anything binding to affect your adult life. So, please DON'T DO THAT. OR, it could go an unpredictable and satisfying way that will have me eating up the pages of that book too. What I'm talking about will make sense once you read the book. I just don't want to give away anything substantive. So, please read.

I love this new series so much. I'm totally invested. Definitely recommend.

Pledge Your Loyalty by Gail Haris and Ashton Brooks is a dark romance. It's the first book from the Illicit Brotherhood.

Taylor Mae Lake is a young woman who was raised in a very religious family. She wanted to have her freedom and explore the world and herself, so she chose to go to a college far away from home. Things didn't turn out as she had expected. From her first year there she accidentally stepped into the dangerous world of the Illicit Brotherhood. Stefan Carmichael was the leader until he graduated, he had to follow rules and protect his brothers. Then he met the beautiful Taylor and his priorities seemed to change. He would do anything to make sure she was safe from the danger that was lurking around...

It's an incredible book that had me hooked from the beginning till the end. It's a mix between college romance, reverse harem, and dark. It's told by a dual pov and the plot is spectacular. There is so much mystery and suspense with the murders and those awful snakes. I was trying to solve it but failed miserably. The spicy scenes were so freaking hot. The RH ones were my favorites.
The characters had amazing chemistry. Their interactions out of bed were entertaining. Stefan was a cool guy, protective, and acted as a true leader. Taylor was quiet as a mouse but fierce when it was needed. Soren was the mysterious, dark, and dangerous guy who I loved the most. I hope we get to see him more in the next book.

The Illicit Brotherhood will be my new favorite series. I highly recommend you to read this one if you love this genre. I will rate it with 5 stars.
