I don’t know why I took like three days to finish this. I loved the romance and chemistry between Damien and Vera. The spice was just 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I wish there was like more in a way. Both characters were perfect. Overall it was a beautiful story.

Obvi there was plot also, one I really enjoyed. The writing was amazing, it felt almost poetic at times. This book showed how sexy a vulnerable and emotional man can be. This book is one of those I won’t be forgetting for sometime and if they author even publishes it as she says she wants to, I will absolutely be getting one.

started this in july but it wasn’t finished so i reread it. i want to keep this short but i loved this book so much. reading it was like coming up for air after you’ve been drowning for so long. i loved damien & vera with all of my heart. this author is so talented.

I have only read this book once, but I know that if I had the time to read it, I would read it again and again until my eyes bleed. I love this book more than I can put into words, and I think that is how I will leave this review...without any words. My own could never fully describe how beautiful Miss Kay's writing is. It obliterates my soul and being while putting it back together. I would be more than ok with never finding love and just reading this book.

i think this book deserves an review. I searched and searched for a book which is similar to this, but i never found one. thank you author for a blessing to my eyes! I've probably read it five times or more!! and pleaseee i need it in my bookshelf.
