Hero is a CEO who is visiting his island to hire a secretary and heroine is his new secretary. They hook up without knowing who is who so imagine their surprise the morning after.

An amazing must read! It was romantic, steamy, emotional and heartwarming. I love this author. No cheating, virgin heroine, celibate hero. Amazing couple loved them together! Epilogue with their 3 kids was everything. It melted my heart! Good job Ember Flint. I can't wait to read more from this talented lady! ❤️

Can't wait for hero's brother story and heroine's brother story too!

You know when you read a book and you love ALL the characters? I mean literally All of them !!! This book was one of them 🙂 I Loved the H's mom she is a very lovely but sneaky woman , all she Wants is to see them married with kids 😂 I adored the way she treats her boys (the H and his brother) like they are still kids and how that embarrassed them , loved how they met ( Ellie the h and Damon the H) the sex scenes were so hot , and the 2 epilogues were so heartwarming ❤ can't wait for the H's brother Weston and Ellie's brother Cole 👍👍👍

All in all, I enjoyed this book, but honestly, one line tainted my pleasure in it because it's not something you want to know/read while becoming invested in the H and h as a couple. I'm happy that he's been celibate for years (though it never says how many but I'm guessing at least two and a half to three) but this sentence pretty much negated that fact for me. The Hero's thoughts upon seeing heroine. '...I’m suddenly very much aware of how long it has been since I've felt the tight grip of a nice juicy cunt around my dick.' Now heroine doesn't feel as special since, apparently, in his thoughts, she'll feel just like the women he's slept with in the past. *sad face*

I just LOVE it when the H is struck stupid and/or speechless when setting his eyes on the h. Insta-WHAM! If you're looking for a cute, quick, steamy read with no OM/OW drama, no cheating, virgin h, celibate H, look no further. Epilogues at 3 months and then 3 years later.

Ok

This story was just ok for me. I thought the beginning dragged on a little too much. It took a while for the characters to actually meet. I also don’t find sex on the beach very romantic. I just can’t stop picturing all the places sand is going to get in. It is going to be beyond uncomfortable. Once the characters meet it get better and their relationship really takes off. Damon pretty much takes control the instant they meet and he is not letting her go.
I do look forward to Damon’s brother and Ellie’s best friend’s story.

Damon is a CEO of an International Company and he needs a PA for while he is in Florida at the resort his company has built. so he asks his mother to help him out and hire a male PA for him. Because he is tired of women being after him for his money and what they think he can do for them. His mother hires Elliot aka Ellie. Ellie used to work at a call center that she hated and a friend told her about this job. She is still surprised that she got hire on the spot but is excited about it. Damon wants to get started on work as soon as he arrives but his mother puts a stop to that by having a party and telling him to relax and to start thinking about work the next day. Even though Damon is usually all work he goes along with his mother. A sexy woman bumps into him and his night gets even better. Things click between them and they end up in his room for the night. When Ellie wakes the next morning there's a note from Damon but she's has to throw her clothes on and hurry to work before she's late. However nothing could've prepared her for finding out that her boss was the man she spent the night with. Will Ellie lose her job because she mixed pleasure with business? Will Damon claim his woman?

This is a steamy hot story that will claim your attention from the first page. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Hot in the Florida Keys

Drunk on you is a great first book in a new series, Sundown Whisper’s Island, by Ember Flint.
This story is about Damon and Elliot. aka Ellie. Damon is the older CEO of his family's business and Ellie is the younger woman who has just gotten a new temp job as Damon's Personal Assistant.
They first meet at the gala for the opening of the family's new resort in the Florida Keys. There is an instant attraction and they share a night of unbridled passion, with it being her first time. The next day when they meet again there is a realization of what happened and questioning how to proceed. It seems Damon's mother had been tasked with finding his new temp PA with the one caveat that it be a "he". But Regina seemed to have other ideas and instead hired a "her".
This story is funny, witty, romantic, has an interesting story-line and well developed and likeable characters, both main and supporting. Damon's mother, Regina, is very funny and seems to like to push her son's buttons. I enjoyed reading this first story in the new series and hopefully the rest will be as good.
The one other thing I just have to comment on is the "sex on the beach" scene. It made me laugh as beach sex is definitely not as fun as one can imagine. When author's write this scene it makes me realize that they have never tried it otherwise they would never write it is sexy.

Magical

This book was so much fun and so sizzling. Our hero is work-obsessed, growly and just needs a new PA for his temporary stay in one of his Florida resorts And since he can’t run down to Florida to hire a guy, he leaves his mother to do the job. “No matchmaking!” He orders her. His mother has other ideas, and hires sweet and innocent Ellie, aka Elliot.

The night they meet, it’s like falling down drunk. Each is consumed and intoxicated with the other and they can’t keep their hands off one another. Passion as hot as a Florida sun melts them—and my kindle!

This is a super low angst, insta love, ooey gooey yummy love story of falling in love and never wanting to come up for air. No cheating, hero isn’t a manskank and heroine belongs only to hero, gives him her virginity.

The story was pretty basic, tho I for first time saw an MMC not stopping FMC when she started crying which I found most 'Alpha MMCs' don't like.. want me to roll eyes?
Cute character relations, I wish Wes's PTSD was more explored or how MMC handled it, maybe Cali should've been thrown into *shrugs*
Sky was your limit.

The beginning kind of dragged on and I was bored, lot of information was thrown at once, same with the II epilogue, I had utilize my remaining brain cells to make sense of the family tree.

But I actually really liked the writing and the comic relief, absolutely adorable, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
But alas, the cover did not do it for me. I was thinking about skipping this book. (Yeah I do judge a book by it's cover, at times.. especially when there are bare chested men on it.)

I wanted to ask something tho, is pixie hair cut the cut I think it is? If it what I think then can the hair be gathered into a scrunchie? I don't think so, but please put me out of misery and confirm my overthinking, O.

This story jumps off from page one. Damon doesn't have time for romance in fact his mother is the match maker and this time around Ellie is her victim of choice. Her son needs a temporary PA and after interviewing Ellie, she gets the job. When Damon spots Ellie on the beach he knew he had to get to know her because she is the first woman to spark something in him. Now he finds himself unwilling to be apart from her. Will his mother get her dreams and Damon get the woman who has jumpstarted his heart?

This novel has everything you could want. Love the characters especially his mother Regina who had me laughing... Although some parts i found were rather repetitive and too much steamy scenes with little else, i enjoyed the novel. Damon and his brother are running the company after their father's death. Their mother, Regina, wants grandchildren. Now. Damon's in his thirties, but just hasn't met Ms. Right, so Regina sets him up at every opportunity. He needs a temporary PA when he heads to Florida for the opening of their new resort, and leaves Regina to do the hiring, and he instructs her to hire a male PA. So she hires Elliott. Ellie has a crap job right now, but was previously a PA in the hotel industry, and would like to go back to that. She and Damon meet at an employee party, and hit it off - no last names, no jobs or titles, just a night of passion. Imagine their surprise when she shows up for work the next morning! I really enjoyed this book. The first chapter was a bit slow, but it really took off after that, and I zoomed through it. Damon and Ellie are so perfect together, and have great chemistry from the moment they meet. Regina was a little overbearing at times, but at the end of the day, Mom really does know best! This is a first read from this author, and I'm looking forward to more, especially in this series.

Tropical Temptation

This was my first book by Ember and it was a great one to start with! It hit so many of my favorites on my "romance book checklist": Tropical setting, rich CEO H, possessive H, crazy insta-lust, and little to no drama.

Damon and Ellie meet by chance at an event and for Damon one look and he's a goner. From there it's one night of passion where only first names are exchanged.

They are both in for a shock the next day when Ellie arrives to her new job...as Damon's PA....and Damon is expecting his new PA, Elliot. A bit of meddling mom might be involved in this part, Lol.

Regina (Damon's mom) is a great addition to this book and offers some comedic moments.

A misunderstanding is no match for the chemistry between Damon and his "Little Doll", and the story does get it's HEA with plenty of steamy moments packed in there too!

This was a great story by Ember Flint. The character development was amazing, and I even enjoyed the secondary characters contributions. Admittedly, the mother was rather manipulative, but you get that sense from the very beginning so it is not a suprise.

Damon meets the girl of his dreams (Ellie) the first night on his island, and they spend the entire night together talking and steaming up the sand. It is not until the next day he learns that Ellie is also Elliot, his new 'male' PA! (remember the sneaky mother I mentioned...)
Does this revelation effect their relationship? Do they get their HEA?

I will say that the epilogue does contain spoilers of other characters who may get books of their own. That would be my only criticism of this otherwise fabulous book!

I've been following Ember Flint for a while now, and I love how far she has come as an author. Her books get better with every release, and she leaves you wanting more. In this book, we meet Damon, a man who has no time for love or relationships because he is so focused on work. When he asks his mother to find him a new male assistant, she gets him an assistant, not telling him its a woman who is named Elliot (Ellie). Ellis does not like the job she currently has, so when her friend gets her an interview for a nee PA position, she accepts. When Ellie and Damon meet without realizing who each other is, sparks fly everywhere, and they both know they have found their forever. What will happen when they find out who each other really is? Do not worry; Ember Flint knows what we like, so expect a beautiful HEA.

A yummy safe romance that was tons of fun, Drunk on You was a great way to spend a weekend! Elliott is looking for a new job, her current one is sucking away her soul. When her bestie lands her an interview for a business bigwig needing a personal assistant on a resort island, its fate. Damon has a hard time relaxing running a huge conglomerate with his brother. No time to date and no trust in women who throw themselves at him because of his money make for a lonely life. All that changes when he lays eyes on Elliott. The way they meet is one I have seen before but Ember Flint made it unique and off the charts hot. They progression of their relationship was so adorable and volcanic at the same time. I really enjoy Ms Flint's style and she manages to surprise me in the best ways. I can't wait to read more from this talented lady!

Damon is constantly working and when his PA, Jakes, has to take an early paternity leave that leaves Damon in a bind. When he tasks his mother with finding him a new temp PA with strict orders that the new hire must be male, she has other ideas. Ellie and Damon meet at the opening gala for his new resort and neither know that they are now employer, employee. 

This story is great. The character are awesome. Although I would have liked it to be longer and more in depth. But I did enjoy this book. I would love to read Wet on and Cali's story and Fayetteville and Cole's story.
