I have eosinophilic asthma and allergies to ragweed, summer trees, dust, mold, dog, and cat. Every four weeks I have an infusion directly into my body of Cinqair for the eosinophilic asthma and weekly shots for the allergies. I am approaching the maintenance part of my allergy shots; then once a month shots will be necessary.

Reading this book helped me to see God’s role in what I am going through now and His plan for me while I go through this journey. This is an excellent read for anyone who has a lifetime chronic ailment. God can cure anything, but if that is not His plan then He shows us how we are to live with the ailment as we do His will. Despite the hindrance of this ailment, through Him I am able to do all for God’s glory, live on His schedule, while praying Big!

This devotional was so so so good for my spirit! I literally took grateful deep breaths and thanked God for Kara and this devotional almost every time I sat down with the Lord. Don't hesitate because it really will change how you see yourself and your health walk. You'll come away stronger, more hopeful and with your eyes wide open to God's love for you and His promises for your life despite your illness, and actually because of it. I was already in a place with the Lord where I knew He was using my unplanned illness for good to help me draw nearer to him and become more like Him, but this devotional helped me proclaim it and heal with the Lord, breaking some chains holding me back along the way. I feel freer, seen and capable of so much. Thank you Kara! I will revisit my devotional often. Hugs hugs 🩵 God bless you!
